The work went quite well... Chris and his team kept me informed on the job as it progressed and sent a video and a picture of the tunneling under house. He invited me to take a personal look in the tunnels and it was pretty amazing. I was there on the day of the house lift was it was down to business quick coordination between crew members! Also, Chris worked very well coordinating with the other contractor doing the plumbing under the house. Chris is customer service friendly.... I caught him cleaning the wood floors when the crew had tracked a bit of dirt into the house. After the Foundation was lifted, Chris’s crew came back and leveled out the dirt in the yard and added mulching to the yard. They filled in the asphalt in the driveway too. The house is level now and I’m thankful to Chris and his crew. I have already recommended his construction company to a friend. Chris has integrity which is a rare thing these days. His bid was between the two other estimates I received but integrity is worth paying a higher fee. I would recommend his company to others without reservation!

Outstanding! Here's why: First, Christopher should up on time. He saw that we had a clean light colored carpet and immediately put on protective shoe booties before being asked. He explained every aspect of the inspection and the technology he was using to accurately assess foundation. After a interior and external measurements and visual inspection of areas I believed to be telltale cracks of problems, he provided us the results. WOW! He informed us in one of the most honest approaches I have ever experienced, that we did not have any problems that needed fixing. He took the time to educated us as to how he came with the findings and gave us a reasons and examples of issues that we should look out for. He provided us with a hard copy report of his inspection measurement(s) results and gave it to us in a folder we are able to keep in the event we need him in the future. As someone who has a broad experience with contractors, I would have to say that Christopher Contracting has my vote of confidence and trust that they will be the first one we will share with our acquaintances or if needed for ourselves. Integrity, Honesty, and Professionalism! And we didn't need any work done at all.

I am so pleased with Christopher Contracting LLC's inspection of my foundation! I was concerned that the cracking I see at one outside corner of the house is indicative of a bigger problem. Chris assured me it is a minor cosmetic issue as to the stucco overlay only and not otherwise. I really appreciate his integrity - an unscrupulous company or contractor could have easily tried to turn this into an expensive project for me given my lack of knowledge about foundations. Chris was thorough, professional, and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend Christopher Contracting LLC to folks who have foundation concerns.

I highly recommend this company. These guys had a prestigious work ethic. They showed up every day approximately at 8:30 a.m. and didn't leave the property (unless picking up materials) until 5:00 p.m. They only took a 30 minute break for lunch on the property. I never saw a worker sitting down on the job. The fence was meticulously installed which took a little time but the outcome was well worth it. They had to dig through heavy wet sod and clay throughout the whole job. The workers were very knowledgeable of what they were doing and needed little or no supervision. This was overall the best contractor I've ever had on my property.

The service was excellent. Chris was punctual, professional, honest and fair. He completed a thorough inspection and plotted his readings on an elevation for us. In the end he told us we do NOT have a problem and do not require any work to the foundation. What a sigh of relief. I highly recommend his service.

Susie, in the office, was so pleasant and helpful scheduling our appointment. Chris was right on time. He looked at all my issues, and then took elevation readings throughout the house. About half-way through he said, "When I am finished you are going to be a very happy man today." He found everything within tolerance and all my issues pretty normal for a 35 year old home in this area. He said nothing other than possibly cosmetic issues needed to be addressed. He added, "Don't let anyone tell you that you need foundation work -- because we could not improve what you already have." There was no charge for the inspection. Chris was thorough, knowledgeable, professional and very friendly. If I ever do have a problem, Chris Walker is the first person I will call.

Chris was very professional and communicated recommendations for foundation repair clearly. The workers were prompt, energetic, and respectful and seemed to work well as a team. Quality of work was excellent and the premises were left neat and clean. The paper work was executed well, including both an engineer's report and plumber's report.

Sent a message to multiple companies to get estimates in repairing/replacing a section of sidewalk. This was the only company to cometely ignore my request. Not even so much as a "sorry, we're too busy." After waiting for just over a week for a reply, I went with another company. I now understand why they have so few reviews--perhaps the other three are from family members? If they test other customers the way they ignored me, you may want to consider someone else.

I had noticed some unusual cracks in my drywall along with some exterior ones after the recent drought this summer. I then had that dreaded feeling of having a major foundation problem and what it would cost to repair it. After searching Angie's List, I chose "Christopher Contracting" based on all the positive reviews written about this company. Well, I can tell you the reviews were more than accurate! This was actually an enjoyable experience due to the professionalism of the owner, Chris Walker. He came to my house just today in order to conduct a foundation inspection. He spent 30-45 minutes inspecting the foundation while also explaining the process to me every step of the way. In the end, he told me my foundation had some minor issues but could hopefully be corrected through a watering plan which he provided. More important than the inspection, I finally felt educated about the causes of foundation problems and how to mitigate them. If I do have any issues in the future, I will definitely know who to call. Oh! I almost forgot. Chris even waived the inspection fee when I tried to pay him! How amazing is that???

Christopher Contracting is the best! The owner Chris was very responsive, engaged and truly cared. Our foundation issue went from what we thought was going to be a simple repair to a floor joist to a full replacement of the entire flooring system from new piers, supports, joist and sub-floor. After Chris was able to look at the problem is much worse than we thought. However, he made us feel very comfortable in that he could get it fixed. Chris provided us with a quote and did more than we had asked and he stuck by the quote. All in all, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Christoper Contracting. We went through 3 other foundation companies before we settled on Chris and we are so happy we found him. I would describe Chris and his team as: courteous, thoughtful, considerate, prompt, and honest. If you need foundation work done, this is your company.

I called Christopher almost two years ago to look at my foundation and provide an estimate for work - how was it sitting, did it need repair, and if so, what would be needed. (In my research on multiple websites, he had great reviews.) Christopher was incredibly kind, professional, and honest and told me that while there was some tilt to my house's foundation, it was within code and was in a "grey area"...it could be repaired (and he provided the cost), or we could leave it alone for the time being and it would be fine. Upon seeing more cracks in the lower exterior of my house recently, I worried that the foundation might be getting worse, and so I called Christopher again. He came out, took his measurements, and within 30 minutes, he told me that my foundation was actually getting better, that it was well within code, and that the cracks that I saw were only in the stucco and were only cosmetic. I know that most contractors are in the habit of providing free estimates so that they can then get a paid job from the customer. So to have a contractor be honest and tell me that my foundation is fine as-is and that I don't need any work done at all is quite refreshing. I hope I won't need foundation work done on this home (or any others down the road), but if I do, Christopher Contracting will be the first place I call.

After another contractor stripped it to the studs & then walked off of the job, Chris & his crew saved my bacon. Excellent workmanship & great communication. They finished on time & on budget. The total bath remodel went smoothly & the finish details were amazing. I am VERY pleased and plan to use him again.

Christopher Contracting was one of 3 companies on Angie's list, that I contacted, after extensively reading reviews, for an estimate to evaluate and repair my foundation. I live in an old house that had two additions over the years, the original house is a pier and beam foundation, while the additions are slab foundation. My experience with Christopher Contracting was first class, from my initial phone call to schedule an estimate, follow up from the appointment staff, to the initial visit and finally, work performed. Christopher came prepared to not only look and evaluate the needed repairs but was able to give me an estimate on the spot in writing. The cost quoted was fair and I hired his company. He and his team arrived as agreed, reviewed with me what to expect, performed the work in a highly professional manner, and cleaned up thoroughly after all work was done. I received an engineers report in the mail upon completion. I am one very satisfied customer. Thank you!

He came to the rescue for me after another foundation company walked off the job. He is punctual, professional & easy to work with. Christopher honored an estimate that was done last summer for house leveling. He did not change the price. He was quick to respond when I emailed him. The job was started right away and completed in one day. He offered a one year warranty on the job since it was concrete pier and beam. The only concern was that his company was not responsible for any plumbing issues after leveling. I did have a leak in drain pipe. His workers did a good job cleaning up afterward. Michael, the supervisor on-site, was helpful in explaining what workers were doing and added that if I had any questions or issues about foundation to call him. I did notice that workers left two large pieces on plywood on my property but I wasn't sure if they were supposed to dispose of it or I was. Overall, I had a good experience with this company and would recommend them.

Christopher was on time, very professional and courteous. He took all his measurements and examined both the house and the porch. He determined that the porch was designed with a 4 inch slope away from the house and did not need any type of repair. He didn't try to sell me repairs that weren't needed. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

Mr. Chris Walker provided a complimentary foundation inspection of our home. He was professional and pleasant. He evaluated our home, and told us that no work was needed at this time.

Very good work, cleaned up after themselves. Would hire them again for any further needs. I feel the foundation is much more stable now after the repairs than it was before the damage. Definitely know what they are doing. They provided an estimate that the insurance company accepted without question which made things go faster and easier.

We had to wait until the plumbers did a leak check so that took a little longer than expected. But once the report got to Christopher he let us know exactly when his people would start. I took a lot less time them we expected.

Professional young man came to check but found nothing wrong with the foundation but instead appears to be a construction problem.
