Unscrupulous Business Christianson misdiagnosed our furnace problem, charged for a part and labor that were unnecessary, and then overcharged for a part and labor when the actual repair was made after four service calls. We paid a total of $1761 for a $900 motor that took less than 20 mins to install. While discussing the dispute, the Christianson representative stated that “We are in the business of making money.” Clearly there is a big difference between making a reasonable profit and price gouging the customer.

It was horrible. We had them come out and do a minor fix and they gave us a quote on a receipt, with no information, with no explanation, nothing. We threw them out, we didn’t even consider them. The quote was horrible. There was no information, it was one tiny statement on a receipt for some other stuff that they did. They didn’t even really look at everything that we had. It was just a bad quote. Their response was immediate.

I talk to this company several times and no one ever notified me that they charged a $140 service call and charged it whether they did any work or not. Ever company I have used from Andgies list were up front made sure that I was aware that they had a service charge. This company never mentioned or informed me of this. I would not have used this company if I would have know this because there are other companys that don't charge a trip charge and if they do it is way below $140. They did give a discount for Angies list member. They did no work . I had tried several times to light my water heater and it did not light, but the last time I tried it must of lit and I didnt notice it. When they arrived it was lit. If I would been made aware of the tip charge then yes I should have no problem with paying it. But to be blind side with $140 charge when I should have been informed like other companies that reputable and transparent in thier billing.

AC was not cooling. We purchased the home new and Christianson did the original install. I found out later that the unit was almost 2 years old when I purchased the house. The first summer, the house cooled just fine. The next summer, the house was not cooling. A Tech came out as part of the "Maintinance" plan and found that the unit was low on Freon. I paid to have more put in as the explanation was "Maybe enough wasn't put in initially". The next year the same thing and I had them check for a leak that was not found. The following year, the tech found a leak in the core. Of course the unit was just out of warranty then and I was quoted 2500 to replace the core. It seems obvious to me that the leak was there from the start, but they did not want to honor their work or fix the unit under warranty. It may be their relationship with Lennar, but I will never deal with them again.

The fee is the annual maintenance plan fee. Just one tech came out and cleaned AC system, changes filter and checks fluid. Their prices are reasonable. I've always had a good experience.

It didn't cost because it was under warranty. There was one person who came to do the work. The worker was informative.

We never had any issues with them. Their ability to book on the basis that I needed and they were always good at what they did.

They were the best price, especially for coming out for short notices. We always called around to check and make sure.

They were always very friendly and always knowledgeable. We could call them if we had any questions on it. They were able to answer our questions, usually over the phone. It was easy to schedule. With it being a rental house, that was always my issue. I had to schedule it for the tenants but the tenants had to be there.

There's more going on in the Spring because air conditioning is a big deal here. It's a lot heavier load than the heat, so it takes longer. There's a lot more to go over with it. I don't have much to complain about with them.

They give you a briefing on what they found, if you've got any risks or not, and they're pretty good and they seem pretty trustworthy. If I have questions, they immediately follow up on them. They're prompt, they're clean and well-dressed, and they are friendly. They are very business oriented and professional. I don't really have any complaints about what they did. As far as improvements, they could lower their price, but I thought the charge was reasonable in our area. I think everybody should work on their price.

I have been using them for thirteen years. They do a good job. I would continue to use them.

Job was completed within 3 hours. Removed old water heater through garage ceiling using built-in ladder in garage ceiling.

I've used them several times. Their prices are comparable. They're not the cheapest and it's not that I chose them for price. They're professional and they know what they're doing.

Every water leak that I have they have repaired. They'll fix it but they might have to come out two times and that's frustrating for me.

It all got done correctly and it all got done well. However, they had to come back out a number of times to make it perfect.

They were here two weeks ago. It cost $92.

This was one of the best experiences I have had with a company. They are professional, care about your property, the paperwork is easy/organized, good follow through. They receive my highest praise!

My A/C went out over Thanksgiving weekend 2014. I started shopping around for a new unit and was luckily able to take my time because the weather was pretty mild. Called 4-5 places and had people out to the house for estimates. Christianson was the only company that called me back, but didn't need to come out to the house. They were familiar with my system because they had installed the original one when the house was built 11 years earlier. They emailed me a quote and were very good at answering questions. At the end of the day, they came in with a very competitive quote (via email) and even gave me a slight upgrade at that price to a more efficient unit. Also agreed to install new Nest Thermostats (that I bought off Amazon) free of charge. This lead to my only complaint as installation techs couldn't figure out how to install them due to the multiple zones & two thermostats in my house. Although they did spend about two hours trying. I eventually had to call an electrician out to do it and paid for that out of pocket, but this was fine because Christianson wasn't charging me for this service anyway, so I didn't really lose anything. All in all very happy with the price I paid and their service. Would definitely use them again. Almost a year and half later and A/C is working great and I'm pleased.

Bought a new house and didn't feel comfortable with all this electrical lines going over the csst lines. They came out, swapped it out with black iron pipe, bleed out all the gas lines and made sure they worked before they left. Nice guys and will use them again for future projects/repairs. Thought it was priced fair for 2 workers.

We've used them several times but we aren't going to anymore. We spent a whole bunch of money with them last year and it didn't seem to fix the problem. We just weren't happy with the last experience. The workers are fine.

Repairman inspected unit and replaced broken air condenser. He was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. He warned that AC fuse might also be faulty and to prepare for electrical repair (this indeed was the case). Honored warranty on unit purchased from them 4 years ago with NO hassle. I have used Christianson for years and will continue to do so.

As far as I'm concerned, they are a good company.
