Awwww! It went very well there was a language problem in the beginning two gentlemen showed up but, We were struggling to communicate luckily my brother's girl is Latina and she translated until another person showed up. Overall these three men were absolutely awesome!! The were very professional and showed such great care in handling my junk Ha! No but, Honestly they were wondering and the price was very fair. The whole thing took two hours I was thinking maybe three but these Gentlemen were fast new how to use not only there equipment wow! I'd see one coming then here's the other guy and working so well together. So, in conclusion I've never experienced having to hire help much less moving things across State. Thanks to Angie's List I was able to get ahold of a Moving company Called "CHAPA'S" Mr. James, Took my call and stayed in constant contact with me from beginning to the very end now that's real service and care. So a HUGE THANK YOU!! To JOSE, AND FREDDIE AND CHRISTIAN ❤️ That's the team that made it happen and worked there butt's off sweating to death running back and forth carrying the most awkward thing, And just smiling and being so curtious, Professional and kind. Before they left they asked me several times is there anything else we can do to help you we unpack to. Hahaha! I can't say enough about this crew of movers well one more thing even though they didn't speak English that well one of the men did and they were all so funny making jokes while still getting it done they made me laugh so, But,More importantly they did there thing and got all of my things up two flights of stairs perfectly. I would hire CHAP'S MOVING COMPANY AGAIN! IN A HEARTBEAT!!!

Very well, communication was great beginning with the confirmation text/email, all furniture and items were handled well. Movers were friendly and Overall everything was a great experience, I recommend Chapa Moving services.

THEY DONT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR!!! The worst moving company in San Antonio!!! I have pictures to prove it!!! if you prize your things DO NOT HIRE!!! They damaged not one but ALL my things I’m super surprised that ANGI is promoting there business they lie about the damages claiming your things were already damaged so you can’t get reimbursed!!! ALL MY ANTIQUES were DAMAGED. NOT ONE thing they claim is true!!! BEWARE of this moving company.

On August 10, I used Chapa’s Moving (TXDMV 006456196C USDOT: 2161288) on an in-state moving from San Antonio to Dallas area. Their price was reasonable and they had the date I need. The movers were on time and pretty responsible. Unfortunately they damaged some of the furniture’s and the badly scratched the new vinyl plank floor in one room of my new house. I pointed the damages out directly to the movers and communicated with their managers on the spot. On the managers request, I sent him a formal complaint and claim through email on August 13, with picture of all damages and all the models and price of the furniture. I followed up a phone call with the manager on August 14 and was told that they will respond within a month. I followed up with email on September 1, phone can and email on September 14. Till now I have not heard anything from upper management of this company. This makes me think that despite my patient and courtesy communication, they are not even trying to solve the issue.

Things went great. They were very responsive and service oriented. The price was very reasonable., in fact the price was great.

They stayed at it until all the work was done. Even spotted an issue with the dryer plug I wouldn't have seen. Definitely recommend these guys!

DO NOT HIRE! THIEVES! DANGER! This company is using a front name - They are called Chapas Moving but you don't know that until you get the bill. They stole a $5,000 Apple computer, a huge box of gemstone pavers, a knife, and personal items. They broke my prayer table, broke my washing machine, broke a marble table top in half, gouged a wall, knocked pieces off my antique desk off. I asked for men who had been with the company and was told the movers were 'their men and were trustworthy." One mover who showed up told me he just started with the company. He invited women to my house! I believe he gave them my possessions and father's small antiques to take out with them. I found some of my other items hidden in the front bed of the moving truck. The owner admitted to seeing my box of gemstone pavers at his business but never returned them to me not does he return my calls. Another mover told me he was on crack! They added on trip charges and packaging charges and additional men charges that were not supposed to be part of the quote. At one point, I was told they had 6 hours left. That ended up being 32 more hours left. It cost me $4,287 to move out of a 800 square foot house down the street. I told the owner if her did not help me get my things back I would have to report them tot he police. He said go ahead, lots of people already have. They don't care - steal away is the name of their game.

Generally well. Contacting them was very easy and they were able to answer my questions quickly. They mssgd before the move to remind me and arrived promptly on time and completed the work quickly. Only minor issue and everything else went well.

The movers were on time. They were efficient and did professional. I was very impressed and satisfied with them.

We had a full house worth of furniture and boxes and they took about 10 hours to move it. Most of the smaller stuff was already packed in boxes but they dismantled and wrapped the beds and other furniture. In the end the van was packed so tight that they had to strap their dollies to the outside and we did have to leave some things behind to move later. The men were very nice, polite, and helpful, and nothing got broken during the move so they did a good job there. It was a long hot day and they worked hard. Overall the move went very well and my only complaint is that I wish the van had been a little larger so they could have fit all of our stuff.

Moving household goods across town. Hurricane Harvey was on its way to shores on the Texas coast but San Antonio was dry and sunny on Friday August 25 thankfully. Our movers Bruce and Jacob were professional and very efficient moving our heavy furniture from a 2 story condo into a home. They took care not to damage walls or doorways. They wrapped some furniture pieces so that drawers would not open during the move. They were patient during unloading when getting direction where to place items. Couldn't have asked for a better move!

Very pleased with the service provided. Some minor damage to some cheap furniture we had, but nothing concerning. Movers worked very hard and knocked out our entire move in about 4 hours. The movers were very amicable. Thank you for your help!!

They provided two trucks. One truck filled our huge storage and the other for a 2/2 apartment. They arrived on time, were quick, professional, and beat 10 other companies price wise. I would use them again and again. Nothing was damaged and all guys worked hard. I've moved a lot and had damages everytime. Not these guys! This review is long overdo as we moved in February. This will be the moving company I save for years to come.

Our move went horrible. To begin with the crew he had were courteous but very unprofessional as far as all our furniture was concerned. Mr. Ramos was out to my house when the move started because we complained about one of his employees because he was more concerned about going fishing than doing his job correctly. He stayed for a few hours and I spoke with him for a bit especially telling him how I needed our bed to be wrapped and it was not. Our bed is not even a year old. The bed frames were torn by the movers and stapled thinking we would not notice. I had to take our bed apart because they did not put it together correctly and that is when I noticed all the tears and the staples. When he was told of the damage on the bed he said it was just part of the moving and things like that happen. His response was very unprofessional. Took no responsibility whatsoever. This is the worst company I have ever used. Also, we are missing a cell phone that we still haven't found and screws and spacers and feet to bed and couch. WORST SERVICE WE HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. I have taken pictures. I do not recommend him to anybody. I have have called him and he doesn't even have the decency to return my calls.

Used Ramos Moving to move household goods from storage unit to new house. Mr. Ramos was flexible adjusting delivery dates changes due to delays on closing of my new house. He was very quick to answer my calls and provide feedback. Price for his services was very competitive compare to other movers in town. His crew arrived at the storage facility 10 minutes before arranged time. They handled the furniture with care and no major problems were encountered during the move. The moving crew were very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to assist during the move. Great service.

Amazingly nice and fast! Talked with the boss when I called and he explained the entire process and what to expect so there were ZERO surprised! The work was done quickly and they even accommodated for items I added last minute. They took great care with my items and even their equipment was padded to protect my stuff. Would DEFINITELY hire again and recommending to all my friends. I especially appreciated how quickly I was able to get questions answered by txt and recvd electronic copies of my receipts.

Moving is such a stressful experience. I had to reschedule the moving dates a couple of times and James was able to accommodate me with no problem. I was actually running late in moving day, but the crew was understanding and told me they'd take care of everything-and they did. All my items were moved quickly and arrived damage free. The price was extremely reasonable! If you are moving and need honest, professional movers, I highly recommend Ramos Moving!

Excellent service. Movers were professional, friendly, very respectful. James Ramos, Owner, very professional, kind, considerate, friendly, "truthful!" I would recommend this service to any that's moving.

Mr. Ramos came to inspect the items I needed moved and provided me with a itemized summary containing the $ amount, # of hours and # of people who would be performing the move. (He did a fantastic job in his estimation...the move only took 1/2 an hour more than this estimate...I had lots of stuff.) On the day of the move, much to my surprise, he sent an additional person to help with the move at no additional cost. The gentlemen were were very courteous and professional. They explained to me their moving process, i.e., boxes first, then furniture, etc. They took their time in adequately wrapping the furniture when necessary, being very careful with fragile items. He had stated it would take two trips to move all the items I had. It took the two trips, with several items not fitting in the moving van on last trip. The manager took it upon himself to take those items in his personal vehicle. Several days after the move, I noticed that I had inadvertently packed two 36 inch rulers into an open box (one was an antique), but I could not find them in the box. I called Mr. Ramos and an hour later, he called me to inform me he had found them under some moving blankets and would come deliver them to my home! Talk about customer service. In addition, when he came to deliver them, I showed them a few scratches on the wall, which needed paint touch up. He immediately took the paint I had and touched them up. In this day and age, you don't find may service providers like Mr. Ramos. I would definitely recommend his services. P.S. The only thing I recommended to Mr. Ramos was that the disclosure be made before the move that chemicals (cleaning supplies, etc.) could not be loaded into the moving van. Although, this did not create a big problem for me as I was able to take them in my own vehicle.
