CHANGING SURFACE INC

Called vendor requesting a quote for refinishing a tub. Left a message, but never got a call back.

The whole event started off on the wrong foot. Joann told me they would be at my house around 8:15-8:30 in the morning. After they didn't show up for a little I called to ask where they were to find out they don't even get into the office until that time. Later their story changed to the technician needed to stop and pick up equipment to do the job. When the technician arrived he did not even know what he was supposed to do. I advised him I wanted the bathtub refinished. He said that he could just paint over the dark green color with the white color he had brought. I advised him that this would never work because of how dark the color green of the tub. So he stripped the tub and showed it to my husband and it appeared that it had been stripped. After this he whiped down the tub and refinished the tub. This only took him 3 hours. I had my tub refinished before and there is no way that he could get it done correctly in 3 hours. He came into my house later wanting payment for the job right away. I told him I couldn't pay him until I was satisfied with the job. The next day I called the owner telling her I had found a dent in the tub that was not there prior to them working on my tub. The following Thursday they were supposed to come and take away the paper. I waited all day and nobody showed. They said they would come on Friday, I waited again all day Friday and they came and took off the paper. The following Monday they sent somebody out to take pictures of the work. On Tuesday morning at 9:00am they called to let me know that they were not coming back out to work on the bathtub anymore. She called to tell me that she was going to file charges against me with the police for theft because I had not paid because I was never satisfied. She said she was going to file a lean against my house as well. Due to all of this, I had to hire another company to come out and re do all of the work. They took pictures of everything for me as well and even said they would testify on my behalf in court if required. I had this company and another tell me that they have had several jobs where they had to re do work done by Changing Surface Inc.
