Description of Work: Replaced Main outdoor regulator and reduced pressure. Offered some good advice and described connections and configuration. Office personnel also followed very well and were extremely pleasant to work with in addition to on-site plumbing professional they sent over.

Description of Work: Chambliss Plumbing replaced my water heater with an American Made water heater. The crew was very professional and careful installing in the attic of a two story. They hauled away the old water heater. They did a great job!

Description of Work: Great service. Helper a little distracted and slow was listening to music on Iphone. Way too expensive. Need additional work but their bid was way too high. Charged about $75 to take apart a bathtub facet and put back too tell me it would cost about $250 to come back and fix when they got part. Way to expensive to change out a garbage disposal and fix a leak on a spicket. Would not use again or recommend. Way too expensive.

Description of Work: We were informed we needed a pressure reduction valve installed as the pressure was too high from SAWS' main line to our house. Called Chambliss based on their reviews and was very pleased. They gave me a quote and when the job turned out to be more complicated and took longer they honored their quote without question. Joaquin did an excellent job and we will be using Chambliss in the future.

Description of Work: Called the office for an appointment next day. Richard and Adam came out on the scheduled time. They called 10 minutes before they arrived, The were clean, courteous, and explained things ever step of the way. They found the pipe that had a pin hole in it and were able to reroute it through the wall in a few hours. This is the second time I have had work done by Chamblis and I have been very satisfied.

Description of Work: I called Chambliss right away when I had (what I thought) was a major plumbing problem and was transferred to Andre. I was very distraught, having just cleaned up alot of water and hoped that someone there could help me feel as though they were the right company to help me with this and not take advantage of someone in a crisis. Andre was quick to offer some suggestions over the phone of what it could be, but after asking where I lived, he said he'd be right out. Within .30 minutes, he was here with an assistant. Within 5 minutes of arrival, he knew what the problem was. It was a simple fix, and the clean-up was above and beyond. We talked alot about preventing these things from happening in the future. He suggested turning main valves off before leaving for vacations and gave suggestions of what we could do differently the next time to resolve this type of thing so it doesn't happen again. This is a great company, and I'm so glad to have found them. Thank you Andre

Description of Work: Drain that after several attempts remained clogged. We had another Plumber come out who could not solve problem bathroom drain. The other plumber said they would have to do extensive work so we called Chambliss for a second opinion. Chambliss was very professional, solved the problem, explained every step and the drain works like new. We will definitely refer them to friends and family snd will call on them again if need arises.

Description of Work: Kevin Chambliss provided an estimate for a water softener installation and pressure regulator installation. He was very professional and his front office staff was courteous and helpful. I ended not using his services for other reasons, but based on the limited experience I had would recommend him to others and consider using his plumbing service in the future.

Description of Work: I noticed a wet area outside the exterior bathroom wall, even though we hadn't had any rain for weeks. I called Chambliss and spoke to Renee, who told me a plumber would arrive between 9 & 10am on Mon, 6/11/12. On Mon, Skylar called at about 8:30 to say he was on his way. He arrived shortly after 9am, listened to my explanation, and went to work excavating the muddy area. Skylar determined that there was a bad solder on a pipe supplying water to the bathroom. He replaced a copper coupling and a section of copper pipe, tested to be sure there were no leaks, and refilled the hole. He checked the flow of water inside the bathroom and replaced an aerator on the sink faucet, improving the water flow. The whole process took about 2 hours. Skylar was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I discovered Chambliss Plumbing through Angie's List several years ago and have been very happy with them. I feel very comfortable with all of the employees I've met, and am confident that they will do a great job and won't overcharge me.

Description of Work: Found water in the bathroom, called Chambliss (chosen for the great reviews on Angies List) and they came out that morning. Found a pinhole in the pipe behind the wall and repaired it quickly. Came back out later that afternoon and again this morning as more water was seeping under the baseboard. Determined the seepage was just residual water from the leak but told me to call if I see any more problems. They were all very professional, courteous and friendly. They are at the top of my list to call for any plumbing issues. In fact, I will be having them back out very soon to install a water softener system.

Description of Work: We had a leak in one of the valves in the shower. Came out & replaced it. Explained what was broken. Kevin then came out & was very patient as we looked at doing a remodel of our bathroom. Explaining all the costs & issues with my ideas. Was extremely helpful & inlightening. Still have the remodel to do & will be using them when we finally get around to it.

Description of Work: What can we say, Lonnie has to be the most professional service provider/plumber we have ever come across. Not only were we amazed but so was our fancy realtor! We have sent his name to others and it was the same response. Amazing! He is hands down a wonderful person and plumber. Our past landlord highly recommended him to us, and we used him when we bought our new house. He is highly knowledgeable and spent quality time with us. A great plumber is priceless and Lonnie is a "one of a kind"! I will always have Lonnie come to my house, or office. Great job Chambliss!

Description of Work: Base on Angies list ,, and reviews submitted ,, I contacted this company regarding plumbing work , mainly a leak detection check. After a quick discussion with the office , they determined I was not within their service area. Which leads me to wonder ,, if they indicate serviceing the greater area of a city, and having an address indicating that city ,, then is my area not considered a greater part of San Antonio ,,, hmmmm ,, Would I use again , or if any thing came from this , not sure ,, would have to discuss that with the owner ,,, short but simple , just wasnt the answer I was expecting to get from a company ,,, in looking at the their service area map , it almost looks as if they are a bit choosy in the neighberhood of selection ,, oh well ,, such is business
