Chambliss Plumbing is a family owned local plumbing business, founded in 1990 by Kevin Chambliss, MPL 14952. Mr. Chambliss has been serving San Antonio in the plumbing trade since 1979 and has been a Master Plumber since 1985. Kathy Chambliss is the vice-president and office manager. Kevin & Kathy have been life & business partners since 1979. There is a 5% discount for all Angie's List Members.

Services we don't offer

We are no longer doing custom remodeling at this time. For water heaters, we stock parts for Rheem professional heaters, Bradford White heaters, and Rinnai tankless heaters. For water softeners, we stock parts for Watts and Nelsen units and can service both of these brands.

Description of Work: Installed new water heater in a new location. Water heater had been in attic, Chambliss moved lines and put new heater downstairs in closet. Very pleased with them.

Description of Work: Skylar came and tightened up an already installed kitchen faucet and removed small amounts of rust build up from spray head. They had to come back because the faucet came loose again - they fixed permanently at no cost. I've decided Chambliss plumbing and Skylar is my plumbing company of choice and will use them again and recommend them to friends as needed.

Description of Work: Kevin Chambliss cut off and sealed the drain and water line for an old ice maker under the kitchen island. He rebuilt the fixture in the toilet and set up a whole house water shutoff to be used when we travel. We also purchased a new water softener system to replace our old system. The two individuals (Clayton & ?) who installed the softener were as professional and knowledgeable as Kevin.

No service was performed.
Description of Work: I have tried to make contact both through email and phone. First it took them over three days to reply by email. Then when I called to find out why no one contacted me they said that a plumber would contact me and no one ever did.

Sorry for the mis communication but i had a plumber try to call you the day you called which was on 6-18, he called you a few times your phone kept ringing and he was not able to leave you a voice mail. We wrote you a message through angies list letting you know this and asking if there was a different number we could reach you at. We heard nothing back from you. You than called again over the weekend with the same phone number so we again had a plumber try to reach you monday morning 6-22. My plumber called you at 8:15 and again no answer and phone kept ringing, so i again wrote you through angies list messaging letting you know this and have not heard anything bac from you.

Description of Work: Replaced 48 gl. electric hot water heater. Excellent service in every way, but very expensive. High mark up on unit, like 3 times the price had I bought the hot water heater myself and just had it installed. But my serviceman was a master plumber, did superior work, and was very nice, so I would use Chambliss Plumbing again provided I had the funds. If money is not a considering factor definitely call Chambliss for your plumbing needs.

Description of Work: Installed three toilets at my residence. Kevin Chambliss called to confirm that he was on his way, and he and his assistant arrived even earlier than scheduled. They immediately went to work, and installed the one-piece, low flush toilets without difficulty. Kevin kept me informed of the progress of the job, and both men were very professional and courteous. I will definitely call Chambliss for future plumbing jobs.
