The Chambliss plumbers arrived and quickly and professionally removed my old water and replaced it with a new one. They also installed an expansion tank in order to get it up to code. They were both very nice and answered any question I had. They also took away my old water heater with no problem. My new water heater works like a charm.

This is the second time we have used Chambliss Plumbing - both of which have been great experiences. My wife has always been complimentary of the courtesy of the technicians and how quick they are. The prices we have been charged have been fair. As a point of reference, when we first moved into our home, we were charged $80 dollars for 10 minutes of work to replace a washer hose fitting from another contractor. Thus our happiness with the prices we have been charged by Chambliss.

3 people showed up to do the service and they quoted me a price of $150 for the first hour, then $90 for every hour after that. The team took about 4 hours and 20 minutes to do the work, and about 15 minutes to write up the invoice. As they were working they indicated a few hoses and valves would need to be replaced (typical valves and hoses you would need to connect faucets to the water pipes under the sink) which all seemed very reasonable. Unfortunately, they did not mention the cost of their hardware. At most they replaced 1 external water faucet/bib, 10 hoses and 10 90-degree on/off valves. The labor bill was expected (~$500), what was not expected, however was a $440 hardware bill. Less than two hours after they left, 2 of the 4 sinks started leaking badly. The team came back same-day to repair the leaks, but they blamed "shoddy hardware" (all the faucets were brand new!) but they didn't seem to need any new hardware to fix the leaks they had left behind, so I suppose they were just making excuses for poorly done work.

We came home from vacation and discovered the water heater to the kitchen, laundry and guest room did not heat. I called our usual plumber but he was booked and i had guests arriving the next day. Chambliss was in my area and able to come right away. They replaced the old water heater and hauled it away. Neat and professional. I wish the had carried more energy efficient choices but I didn't have time for special orders.

The one thing that attracted me to him was that someone wrote on Angie's List that he was very punctual. This is very important to me. Mr Chambliss came to work on my shower valve himself. I have a nice shower and that valve was going to be expensive to replace. He was able to repair the valve and save me money. He really put a lot of care and quality work into getting this repaired.

While remodeling my bathroom, a so called "plumber" installed a handshower diverter in my shower that did not function as it should have, and the problem rested entirely with the original installation. I called Kevin at Chambliss to come out and fix reset the diverter kit. He was punctual, clear about the amount of work involved, and he was diligent and careful not to scratch my fixtures or let my dog out. He said the work could possibly take 3-4 hours, but he and his helper finished in just over an hour. They did a great job and left the area clean. I wish I had called them when I remodeled the bathroom in the first place. I'll be using them on other projects.

Excellent -- highly recommended. They are extremely punctual and professional, and the job went much faster than expected. I would use Chambliss for all my plumbing jobs.

I had a toilet tank valve and the shutoff valve fail and was leaking. I called Chambliss at 8:00AM the next day. They said they could come out to my house later that afternoon which I was happy about. They called me back about 10 minutes later to tell me they could be at my place in about a half an hour. They did in fact show up at the time they promised and fixed both my problems quickly without me having to hang around the house all day waiting. Professional in every way. I will do business with Chambliss again.

They are very courteous and they get here promptly. If they're going to be late, they'll call and let you know.

Replaced two leaking exterior hose bibs; replace drain assembly in utility room; and reseated shower massage controller. Richard came highly recommended. He and his associate did not disappoint. They were professional and respectful. They removed their shoes upon entering the house. They did an assessment of the items to be taken care of and proceeded to do the tasks properly. They did not bad mouth the builder who had not seated the shower massage controller properly; they just reseated it. Their attention to detail was so good that they "lined up" the name stamped on the drain assembly so that it was dead center. WOW. I don't see that attention to the small things happen very often.

Sklyar and Adam showed up on time, and removed old hot water heater and installed new one up in attic...they were quick, efficient and knew what they were doing! I had never used them before but decided to try them based on reviews on Angie's List...they are my new plumbers!

We first called Will's Plumbing for an estimate. Two young men came out appearing to be in a hurry. I told them we wanted a high-end AO White. Their estimate was $1671. I then asked what was the model number of the AO White water heater. He did not know, he said, "we just go down to the warehouse and pick one up." I then called Chambliss since we used them last year to fix our outside sewer line. They did such a good job then, I thought I would ask them about a Bradford White water heater. Andre called me and explained all the models and warranties and we decided on a specific model. They came on time and finished in 2 hours, doing a beautiful installation, and we added a 6-year additional warrenty for a total of about $1300. This is the second time in the past year that I used Chambliss and I couldn't be more happy with them.

Service was accomplished in timely manner without any complications. I would recommend this company to others without reservations.

The problem is indicated above. They arrived on time and performed the necessary work as described above. They answered my questions and cleaned up the work site when job was done. I would definitely use them again and ask for them by name.,

The guys were prompt, fours us and effective. Customer service over phone and in person were both awesome. Highly recommended.

The job started on time as requested, They had to dig a 45 foot tunnel under the house which took several days. They then replaced the entire pipe system from both bathrooms. They finished the job ahead of schedule and were very professional.

They were on time and the work cost much less than what the city had quoted us. It only cost about $100.00.

Our water heater failed late on a Thursday afternoon. Decided to get a new water heater and installation through Home Depot. As it turned out, that was a mistake. The installer sent by Home Depot on Friday stated that city code required him to install a drain line 6 inches off the garage floor that would run from the water heater drain pan to a point outside of the home. It would require that he drill a hole through the home's brick. Installation of the drain line would also be an extra charge. We didn't like that idea so we called the city plumbing department and were told that what the Home Depot installer wanted to do was not required. The installer insisted it was, so we cancelled the installation and obtained a refund on the water heater we had purchased from Home Depot. It was now late Friday afternoon and our next call was to Chambliss Plumbing, but they could not install a new water heater until the following Tuesday. It was a hot summer, so a few days of cool showers wouldn't be that bad. Friday evening however we received a call from Chambliss Plumbing stating that a new water could actually be installed on Saturday morning, which we readily agreed to. On Saturday morning, a two-man crew from Chambliss arrived at the appointed time. The lead man on the crew explained everything that had to be done, including haul-off of the old water heater, and within an hour they had installed a new, American-made Bradford White water neater, new flex lines and a vacuum relief valve. We couldn't be happier that we had called Chambliss Plumbing. We just wish we had called them first. Next time we will.

They were great. They were on time, professional, courtesous, and went over the cost with me up front. They tell me everything they will be doing and explain what's going on. I highly recommend them.

I recently purchased a 30-year-old home that had several items identified on the home inspection. All items were reviewed in detail and I was advised on what actually needed fixing - as well provided more cost effective solutions - rather than a 'fix' for other items. He also took the time to answer questions and educate me on various aspects of the water softener - etc. - that I did not have previous experience with. Very pleased - they are already scheduled to come back and address the few things that do need to be done - very grateful for the honesty.

I called Chambliss to fix a leak in our kitchen sink, which turned out to be due to a faulty faucet. The plumber showed up on time, was very professional, and replaced the faucet quickly and at an excellent price. When I need a plumber I will definitely be calling them again.

Chambliss did a great job and quickly and efficiently did the work. Our house was out of code so they made the necessary repairs. We would definitely use them again.

We called other top Angie's List plumbers as well, but Chambliss responded quickly and professionally with an estimate right over the phone. The plumber called me back with his estimate based on the information I provided. The price included the likely code updates, but he cautioned of the possibility of another code update which would cost an additional $200. It turned out he was spot on with his original (less costly) phone estimate. The plumber (Andre) and someone to assist him came within the scheduled service window and installed the new water heater without a problem. He also took the time to explain the warranty to me in detail. I'm extremely satisfied with the level of customer service!
