We awoke yesterday morning to find a lot of water in the kitchen, hallway, bedroom and utility room floors. Upon inspection by me and my wife, we noticed that there was a leak in the attic way and the water was coming down the walls and into the ceilings. We are new users to Angie's list and I started checking for plumber's in our area that would come on short notice and on a Saturday. I called Chambliss's main line and spoke to Kenny. I expressed that this was an emergency and he sent one of his employee's (Justin) to our home the same afternoon. Even though Justin didn't have the correct tool on his truck to permanently fix the problem, he used a temporary fix until; he could come back this Monday to finish his work. All in all, we were amazed at how fast Justin found the leak in our ceiling and how courteous he was. We do recommend this company and if ever the need, we will use them again in the future.

After returning from an out of state family funeral, we returned to find a major leak in our home. You could hear water rushing through the pipes. We did not know where the plumbing issue was specifically located or if the water was leaking into the walls. It was horrible. Having found Chambliss on Angie's list and used them before, we called and we able to secure an ASAP appointment. They were extremely professional and were able to locate the leak in a timely manner. On the first day, Chambliss had to cut through our bedroom wall as well as our shower tile to locate the leak. They repaired the next day. They also gave us a reasonable price range, explaining that it could vary a bit based on what the leak involved once it was located. We have several skilled plumbers out a one time, each just as wonderful. ( I would list specific names but I am afraid I would forget someone !) At the time this was going on, Chambliss realized our kitchen faucet was in a very shabby state and replaced it free of charge since they had an extra one in their truck. We could not have been more surprised or pleased at this kindness. It was a very difficult time for our family grieving the death of a loved one and they could not have handled the situation any better or more respectfully when dealing with our home. I would absolutely use them again and do not feel a need to look for "the next best thing". It doesn't get any better than Chambliss. Thank you so much !!!!!!

I called up Chambliss Plumbing because I needed a faucet replaced and I didn't want to mess with any leaks. Cassidy took my call with a smile and was able to fit me in the same day. Skylar showed up with in the hour and replaced it for me. He was prompt and very courteous when he arrived. He finished in right under 45 minutes and my faucet looks great and no leaks.

Master Plumber did evaluation of the problem and wrote up estimated repair cost. The crew started right away digging under the foundation in 100 degree heat. Everyone was very polite and friendly. After the Master Plumber discovered the problem was not as bad as expected, he made adjustments to my bill to greatly lower the cost. I appreciate the honesty, professionalism and courtesy of this company and I highly recommend Chambliss Plumbing Co. at anytime to anyone. Albert and Trudy Walker

emailed Chambliss. perhaps our inquiry to change out a kitchen sink from double bowl to single bowl, which included some plumbing work, wasn't a high priority? anyway, initial reply took at least a week...shared our contact info and they shared that they'd have someone call. I replied then no reply. i inquired again and called - then got an email back...in my initial reply i shared that i could send pictures...then a reply that was at least a week later...they took me up on picture offer. We decided to move on to request info from other providers. Shame really...they are very close to our house and we were eager to make something happen. glad others dont have the same experience we did.

Clayton was great. Showed up when he said he would. Shot straight when telling me what the problem was and the cost. I will definitely be using Chambliss again. Came out on a Monday, determined what was wrong. Shut the main valve to the sprinkler to to let the area dry out so he would not have to completely dig up the yard. Said someone would call me that afternoon to schedule another appointment on Wednesday. Sure enough, they called and he showed up when they said he would. Just a really pleasant experience compared to my dealings with other plumbers.

I am so impressed with the time and professionalism they used to calm my fears of a hot water heater bursting and water ruining everything in the basement. They removed the old water heater and before installing the new one, they installed a drain pan and an extended drain line tied into the basement wall, drilled a hole through the wall to drain outside. Everything done to high professional standards. What was perhaps most impressive is that the 2 young men they came to do the install were different from the first that came to estimate the job (I required a Saturday install & they take turns working Saturdays), I was afraid I would have to start the explaination all over again & that they would tell me something different than the first guy. (Unfortunately that is what I have become accustom to and can't stand!) Chambliss Plumbing was a totally different and refreshing experience. They had been provided an extensive briefing by the young man who came out first, they were even able to get a hold of him for a question they had. The communication between all parties was something I have never experienced and oh so appreciate! I highly recommend them for all of your plumbing needs no matter how complicated, they are not afraid of a challenge!!

They did a good job. They had a tight area to work in, and I would hire them again.

This was my first experience using Chambliss Plumbing. Given the emergency nature of my plumbing problem, I believe it went extremely well. I was most pleased with the professional approach of the staff at Chambliss Plumbing. When I called the office I spoke with Rene: and she went above and beyond the norm finding someone to respond. Kevin replaced the broken pipe, as well as some other pipes and valves that were old and rusty, and likely about to break. He had me back up and working in less than an hour after his arrival. I definitely recommend Chambliss Plumbing, and I thank them for a job well done!

They are very prompt, very professional, on time, extremely helpful and their prices are great. They did a very god job in installing water heater and they are standing-by for the call for the water softener.

First technician called when he said he would and arrived when he said he would. He had a clean, neat appearance and was very polite. He went through a series of tests to identify the cause of water stains on my bathroom drywall. He removed the drywall behind the commode and found the leak. He told us it was an odd-sized fitting and that he did not have the proper tool to finish the job but that someone else would come by the next day to finish the repair. This visit cost us $165. The second technician arrived promptly the next day. He replaced the commode inlet hose with a brass one with a crimp fitting. He was here for approximately 30 minutes. This visit cost us $156. Because they took two days to complete this repair, I was charged two fuel charges and two service charges. I was also charged the rental fee for the tool they needed to complete this job. Seriously? If it's a tool needed by a plumber then they should have it on their truck. I feel these charges are totally unfair. And of course I still have to replace the drywall. That evening, when I used the toilet for the first time, I found there was no water filling the tank. I called Chambliss to tell them and they were very gracious and concerned. They sent technician #2 back out to fix the problem. This was 8:30 pm. He quickly identified the problem (flapper chain) and offered to replace the existing flapper assembly at no charge. He then apologized for charging us twice for service charge and re-wrote our bill without the duplicate service charge fee. This company is very customer oriented and I highly recommend them.

A few days ago I noticed a brown ring around the seal on the white cleanout plug under the kitchen sink, with a small drop of liquid hanging off it. I didn't know if this was a major problem, and I didn't want to just ignore it. I called Chambliss (it was probably between 12:30-1pm) on 6/20 and spoke to Kathy. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that they could get to me today, between 3 and 5pm. Kathy said it was possible the plumber could come earlier, and said she would call if he could. Kathy called me back at about 1:40 to say the plumber was on his way. Josh arrived sometime between 1:45 and 2pm and immediately got to work. He explained that sometimes the seal around the cleanout plug wears out and that is what had happened. Josh removed the plug, cleaned it off, and put a blue "glue" on it (saying he was "doping" it), then screwed it back into the cleanout opening. When he finished with the cleanout, I asked Josh to tighten a lavatory pop-up that had loosened, and also asked him to show me where my water cutoff was. Josh had installed a ball valve cutoff on my side of the water meter in 2010 when he installed a pressure regulator. I recently looked for the cutoff but couldn't find it. Dirt and grass had covered the valve box lid but Josh was able to find it and uncover it for me. Josh took care of all these jobs and was on his way by about 2:20. The job was handled quickly, efficiently, and professionally. I have always had great experiences with Chambliss and have recommended them to others.

They were punctual, friendly, explained problem and estimated cost to repair, corrected quickly, and then had me sign for the repairs. I would definitely recommend them to others.

The tech was polite, listened to my explanation of all the leak detection steps I had taken and did not waste time repeating them - checking under all cabinets, c all outside bibs, checking the yard for wet spots and a toilet dye test. He identified the leak as the sprinkler system and left it turned off at my request. He also repaired a poorly running toilet.

I have used Chambliss Plumbing in the past and would use them in the future as well. They always arrive promptly at the scheduled time and complete their work efficiently. On this visit, they fixed a couple of leaks in drain pipes under two sinks, and also replaced a leaky hose bib. In addition to this, they installed a "customer shutoff." This is a valve, separate from the main utility meter, that allows me to turn off the water to my house. The plumber, Josh, described the work to be done and made helpful recommendations regarding placement of the shutoff. He completed the work promptly and was patient while I inspected the completed job. I'm very happy to have this shutoff in case of an emergency, and I'm grateful to Chambliss for completing the work in a prompt and professional manner.

Kevin Chambliss called ahead to let us know they were on the way. They arrived on time and took a look at everything. Since I purchased the water heater elsewhere he and his assistant needed to verify the installation location and that the new heater would fit. While draining the tank, Kevin provided me with the overall estimate which was competitive with other companies. After giving us time to get some water to have available during their work they began. They finished quickly, taking care of a few issues caused by changes in the building code over the last several years. At the end of their work they packed up turned the water back on and started pressure tests. When turning water back on the city owned valve sheared before the water was completely on, so we had lower pressure. Kevin called the water system and made sure we were taken care of. They even hauled away our old water heater at no charge, even though we hadn't purchased our replacement from them. They also finished in less time than estimated. All in all, a great experience at a frustrating time due to the failure of our old water heater. I highly recommend Chambliss plumbing, they did an outstanding job for us.

I had a master plumber who was supposed to complete the work described. He was injured in an auto accident and could not finish my project. I called Chambliss and they were very courteous over the phone and got me on their schedule for the next day. The two service plumbers that showed up were on time and very courteous. I hope I didn't offend them when I asked them what their credentials were? They were very knowledgeable and began working right away. They did an excellent job installing the plumbing items for my kitchen and they impressed me and my husband with their attention to detail and they were very neat about not making any mess. I would call on Chambliss again as the work was done well and the price was very reasonable.

A phone call to the shop was answered promptly and then a return call with in a few minutes from the owner to get details of my issue (leaking water heater). I had already checked it and determined it was needing to be replaced. They quoted me a price for a new water heater (50 gal, natural gas) and installation in the attic of my 2 story home. He identified that if there was a high water pressure reading he might need to add the pressure tank and let me know the price as well. They schedule for the next day, called to check we were home before coming over and arrived right on time. They were courteous, clean, and efficient. The job was done quickly and the owner of the business came over about halfway through to check the water pressure, check that we were ok with the work being done, and he stayed until they finished and he checked it out. Excellent work and attention - I will use them again and recommend them. The price was fair for the equipment and the work done, I had checked with 2 other plumbing services.

They were very punctual, courteous, polite, professional, and were able to address the problem even though it wasn't really a plumbing problem. They were able to take care of the problem quickly and were very knowledgeable.

Repairman was nice enough. Went to work in the utility room and 30 minutes later I went to ask what was taking so long to connect a dryer. He said something about parts and clamps, etc. Then said he was about through. Another 15 minutes and he presented the bill for $185!!! I ask what cost so much and again, he said there were parts that had to be replaced and time on the job, etc. When I balked he asked "What seems fair?" I said I did not expect anyone to work for free and I certainly understood that there would be a service fee. He responded "What about $100?". That is what I paid as he mumbled about just covering his cost to come to the house and the parts were free to me at this price. He named the number, I didn't. I have never had this experience before. Service providers are usually able to defend their cost by showing you the parts that were necessary OR by consulting with you during the visit so that you understand what is happening. I did not want to play "Let's Make a Deal".

They are a good company to work with. They were polite, on time and very informative.

They were nice and very competent in the work task. Each step of the task, Josh explained what they were doing in order for me to visualize the water pathway.

When I called Chambliss, the woman who answered the phone was great. She was responsive, friendly and very helpful. I was able to make an appointment for the next day. They day of the service, Skyler called to let me know he was on his way and when to expect him. He was very professional and efficient. He did a great job fixing and installing everything. He also explained about the issues with the upstairs toilet and sink. All in all, it was a great experience from start to finish. I would definitely call them again for any plumbing issues.
