They did not want to check if water softener is working correctly.

Copper piping was coming out of original slab so they had to jack hammer down to get the pipes turned and ran up the new wall. They installed the shower floor drain and later returned to finish the job with tub and shower fixtures. They were very professional, on time and easy to work with.

Called day before, arrived on time next morning and completed job around noon.

Excellent - and the price was less than expected.

Thinking I had a major water supply line blocked to only the toilet, I called expecting the worst. It turned out that we had a "fail safe" suypply line which will close if there is any leak or back pressure. It had worked as designed but still had to be replaced. It was something I could have done myself had I known, but as it turned out I paid for knowledge, experience and peace of mind. I had expected a much higher cost and a major tear out. I have used Chambliss on three previous occasions for a water softener install, kitchen faucet replacement, and a water meter leak repair. I have always been highly pleased with their responsiveness and professionalism.

This was not the first time we have used Chambliss Plumbing and that's why we called them for this project. We called for an estimate and Kevin came out and told us what it would cost and what would be done. We said fine, let's get it going. The following Monday Josh was at our front door promptly at 9 AM. He explained what he was getting ready to do and what would be done. He went to work and in about 3 hours his part was done. Big hole in the wall but that's what he said would happen. He had given us the name of a tile company that they have worked with and recommend them and we went with them. The tile guys showed up the next day and retiled a big hole. 1 1/2 X 1 1/2 square feet. These guys were great and fast. We called Chambliss and informed them the tile repair was done and when could they return to finish the job. They said they would be out the next day after 2 PM. Well, Josh called the next day and said they would be at our house in 15 minutes. Sure enough, Josh and a helper showed up and finished the installation in 20 minutes. This new system is really nice and works wonderfully. What made the whole thing worth the money was the way they treated us and the way they did the work. Very professional and very well done. Chambliss will continue to be my choice for any kind of plumbing needs. What a great company.

called to ask about replacing reverse osmosis system filters and was told that they only service systems that they have installed. So hard to rate except to tell others that unless the system was installed by them, they are not the ones to call for any service.

Went great. Someone was at my house within a few hours of my call. He was in and out in less than an hour.

I contacted Chambliss plumbing on a Thursday and they were able to place me on their schedule for the next day. The service technician was on time. He installed the washer and tested it to ensure it was working properly and they also hauled the old one away. I would definitely use this company again. I found this provider from Angies list and they lived up to the comments made on previous reviews.

We had new counters installed on 2.17.14 and with that a new sink. The new sink wouldn't work with the existing plumbing under the kitchen sink and after I attempted to fix it myself, I called in a pro. I called 5 different companies from AL and none of them had any openings within 48 hours. One nice lady referred me to Chambliss. A quick call and within an hour Clayton and his assistant were at the house and working. Took them about 25 minutes, cleaned everything up, did a great job and make sure everything worked. They were a little pricey for the length of time, but given that they came so quick, I'm not complaining. I will use them again and will ask for Clayton.

I contacted Chambliss Plumbing because we received an extremely high water bill which indicated there was a leak somewhere. I called on Tuesday and was scheduled for Thursday between the hours of 9 - 11 am. I received a call at 8:30 am from the owner advising that he was on his way. He arrived at 09:15. He came in and I explained my problem. Not only did he check the toilet I called about he checked all the toilets and discovered I had two leaking toilets. One of the toilets requires special parts he immediately contacted his office to locate the part and verify the part was in stock to ensure the part was readily available. He made every effort to minimize the costs of the parts in addition to time and labor costs. He also gave me a 10% military discount. I have used this company before and I would recommend them to everyone. In addition to doing a great job, being punctual, saving their customers money you can trust them to only perform services you need. Awesome company!!!

They were very prompt and courteous. They were really quick and knowledgeable. They explained everything they were going to do before they did it and they didn't overcharge me. We were rally happy with them and would use them in future for our plumbing needs.

We have had minor leak, that comes and goes. The contractor said that we would have to wait for the leak to appear again, since when we called it was leaking, however, by the time they came, it was several days later, there was no evidence of a leak

I could write a lengthy review about my wonderful experience with Chambliss Plumbing but I think most people reading this review want the bottom line: Outstanding price, service, integrity and professionalism. My main contact was Andre who specializes in tunneling and plumbing replacement. Chambliss isolated the location of a sewer leak under the foundation of my sister-in-law's home. A previous inspection from another Angie's List plumbing company said I had a leak in two different places that Chambliss never found after two static pressure tests to ensure the validity of their testing. The "other" plumbing company quoted a repair estimate of approximately $9000--way beyond the quote I received from Chambliss. In addition, Chambliss' quote included a slurry backfill after the excavation which provides a solid base for the foundation of the house. The other plumbing company want to shovel the backfill which I learned would eventually leave voids after settlement of the excavated shoveled dirt. Andre and his assistant Troy were superb. I am so glad I trusted Chambliss and highly recommend their services.

I had a pretty serious leak issue that I thought would require my home owner's insurance company to get involved. I had a very professional woman discuss the issue with me on the phone and she stated Kevin would call me back to discuss further. Kevin was very nice and gave some good information. I thought their prices were too high, which was $160/hr for 2 men the first hour and than $115 for every hour thereafter. I expressed that their prices were higher than what I expected. We talked for roughly 10 minutes when Kevin had told me he must get off of the phone because he was on a service call at a customer's house at that time. What I thought was a little inappropriate was to talk to me for roughly 10 minutes while his client was paying him $160/hr. I personally would not want to pay a plumber to talk on the phone to a prospective client. I told Kevin this as well. Nice people but I thought talking on the phone while a customer is paying you these high prices was a little unethical. I did not hire this company.

Skylar found all four temperature settings on the two water heaters to be on the "warm" setting, and he increased each a bit to between 120 and 130 degrees, so that we could have the hotter water that we want. He said that we probably did not need new shower cartridges at this time if the water was not going from hot to cold in the middle of a shower. He also informed me of the brand of my water heaters, which I wanted to know (Bradford). I could not be happier, and would definitely recommend this plumbing company to neighbors.

The repairman from Chambliss Plumbing arrived on time and was very professional. I showed him where the main water valve was and he went to work. He worked hard and did a great job installing the regulator pump so my water pressure from the city stayed at a safe level. And he installed a small tank on the water tank that helps protect the regulator pump. He also cleaned up the little mess he had created. I am very satisfied with the work and will call Chambliss Plumbing again when I need plumbing work done. And the price was very competitive with another company that wanted $200 more for the same job!

They are very professional. They are always timely and responsive in an emergency. We like their work and that is why we have used them for this amount of time. We will continue to use them in the future.

I have used them before with great results. They arrive on time , and call when they are in route. They had the equipment needed with them. Whether they had to go on the roof or clean out an inside drain their expertise paid off in a timely manner. My house was built in 1975 and plumbing problems have plagued us. In the past I put off repairs due to being uncertain about who to call or what to expect, that is no longer a problem. They spend the extra time checking to make certain the problem has been solved. For the time spent and the attention to detail I feel the charges were more than fair. I will hire them again as needed.

I tried contacting this company about a water leak since I had used them in the past. I was connected to an answer machine saying my call was being forwarded. The phone then started ringing but no one ever answered so it was not even possible to leave a message.
