Costs exceed the estimate more than 20%. Invoice was not itemized to show why cost was more than estimate. Overall, good work, but very expensive for 3 hours of work.

I had an arrival window of 1 - 3 pm. The I had a call from Clayton around 12:30 giving me an estimated arrival time of 1:00 pm. I told him we were home and awaiting his arrival, He arrived a little before 1:00 and went straight to work. He was very professional, worked quickly and neatly, but did not rush. He took time to answer questions on some plumbing issues I had, and explained the pros and cons of the products that they (professional plumbers) used compared to the products that can be purchased at the local hardware store.

They did a great job. They did exactly what they said they did. It took about forty five minutes to fix it. The cleaned up very well. I highly recommend them. They stood by their word. I have used them since. We called and he came out in a very fashionable time.

Called to get an estimate on a water heater. Was told I would get a call shortly and I did from the owner Kevin. Was able to give me a quote over the phone,where as others that I had called wanted to come out and take a look first and charge me for the estimate. A week later when I called to schedule the install they still had all the info agreed to. They called and said they could come early. The two young men were courteous and professional. They did the install quickly and neatly. The final price was even better after the Angie's List discount. I was very pleased and will definitely use them again and recommend them everyone.

I have had continued problems with one of our commodes, clogging up often and needing to be plunged. The problem had worsened over the past year even having difficulty filling. We had used Chambliss Plumbing several years ago for a water leak and were pleased with the service. Through Angie's List I emailed Chambliss Plumbing with a request for evaluation and correction of commode plumbing problems and received a prompt response. Prior to making the appointment I was told what would be done to diagnose and fix the problem along with an estimate. I was given a estimated block of time in the morning. Josh and Ruben called prior to coming so I knew when to expect them - it was within the time estimation. They immediately went to work diagnosing the problem and finally concluded the commode needed to be replaced. They installed a gravity flow commode which has been functioning perfectly. Problem corrected/solved. Thank you.

Perfect, Kevin Chambliss and his son Justin fit me in on 1 hours notice and did an outstanding job on the installation. They were VERY careful removing the old heater with no leakage at all. When I told him I found them on Angie's List as they were leaving, he said they had a 5% discount and would send me a check for the discount. They could have just left as I had already paid them. They do excellent work and are honest. I have found my new plumber!!!

After having City Public Service recommend having a plumber come out and replace the thermal coupler yesterday, I called Chambliss Plumbing. I selected them based on reviews from Angie's List. The receptionist immediately scheduled them to come out the very next day and even quoted me a price and told me that they wouldn't need to spend more than 30 minutes at my house. The plumber arrived early (10 minutes before due time). He was extremely polite and respectful. He did indeed replace the thermal coupler and talked to us about what we should look for to indicate when we should replace the water heaters. The price was exactly what was quoted. We are extremely pleased with Chambliss Plumbing and they are now our new plumbers; we have no need to look for anyone else.

He was on time and very professional. He fixed the garbage disposal we had and even replaced the drain basket for us. He did not try to sell us a new disposal, he worked with what we had. Our disposal was leaking and even fell off the sink once! When he left it was working well and still is 2 months later.

We were very happy with the work that was done in our home. We had 2 commodes, kitchen sink, faucet and garbage disposal installed. Skylar did a great job. He showed up on time and got the work done in a timely manner and was very professional. We will definitely use Chambliss Plumbing again.

Noticed faint smell of gas around cooktop. Chambless plumbing representative called to explain that they could check for leaks from the house to the appliance but that they could not repair the appliance. Chambless Plumbing came to the house and checked all connections to the cooktop and verified that there were no gas leaks. He was courteous, efficient and thorough. this is the second time we have used this company and have been most satisfied each time. Will call them again for any plumbing issues.

I called Chambliss because of the overall reviews on Angie's List, and was very satisfied with every aspect of the service. The plumbers, Clayton and Justin, were on time, explained the problem to me, fixed it, and were very courteous. I was expecting to pay $200.00 or more. My bill was only $75.00. I am a retired widow and felt so comfortable with the service, the people, and the price. I will defiantly use Chambliss Plumbing again.

Richard A. was very professional and provided expert plumbing advice. He took the time to explain what he was going to do, how he was going to do it and what to watch for. He also tested the water pressure and recommend future consideration of pressure valve which we plan to have them do.

Chambliss deals with a great supplier of products that has a great showroom. Chambliss was even able to discount the prices of the materials a bit. Also provided the name of a fantastically skilled drywall specialist for the drywall finishing. Chambliss started the job immediately after the materials we wanted were available. Kept absolutely on schedule, finishing each bathroom in only one day. Final invoices were true to the estimate, to the penny ($2120.00 for labor). Chambliss plumbers is in my contact app and will be used for all plumbing needs too large for me to tackle. Be sure to get an estimate from Chambliss before choosing your provider.

My wife discovered our 10-year old home water heater had developed a substantial leak around 8 a.m. on a Monday morning. I had already been at work for two hours. Through previous research on Angie's List, I had already identified Chambliss Plumbing as a highly rated company located near my residence in far north San Antonio. I called Chambliss Plumbing and was told that they could have someone at my house between 1 and 3 p.m. This was perfect for me since it gave me time to go home and clean up what water had leaked into the garage and straighten things out. Shortly after 1 p.m. I received a call from Clayton at Chambliss Plumbing and was told he was on his way and would arrive in 20 minutes. Clayton and Troy from Chambliss arrived and introduced themselves. Clayton gave me a detailed explanation of what they needed to do to replace the water heater and what the cost would be. During the repair, Clayton noted to me a couple items regarding the water system pressure being on the low side and a recommendation to have my 10-year old water softener checked by the original supplier/installer to make sure the resin is still good. The whole process took less than two hours. Clayton and Troy were very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They represented Chambliss Plumbing exceptionally well. I will definitely use Chambliss Plumbing for future work.

Skylar from Chambliss plumbing not only flushed the water heater, he told me that mine would last probably another two years. At my request, I was provided with a written estimate to replace the water heater in the future. I also asked Skylar if he had time to snake the pipes in my toilets. He said, "Let me take a look to see if that's the problem, if may be something else." It was something else. Skylar took a tool that fit into the holes on the inside rim of the toilets to remove the lime, and then applied a chemical to remove it completely around the inside rim. When he was done, my toilets looked brand new and worked just a well! The holes are unplugged and allow the maximum amount of water to flush.
