The install went great. They showed up about 9 am and worked until 5 pm. They dug a trench in the front yard (through rocks and all), layed new piping, and installed two new outdoor hose receptacles. It took roughly two days to finish all the work, but they were on point the whole time. Passed the town inspection no problem. The softener has been in for about a month now and we couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this company. One of their greatest attributes is definitely their staff, from the owner, to the folks who performed the work, and even the ladies i coordinated with on the phone. This is an A+ organization.

This company was excellent. The owner called me himself to answer questions and then I scheduled a day for the plumber to come replace the sink and faucet in my bathroom (the faucet was leaking). He was punctual and the work turned out beautifully. My mother, daughter, and I couldn't stop going in and looking at our beautiful new sink!

CLEAN, FAST, AFFORDABLE is their motto and it was that kind of service! I just feel very grateful I found an excellent company that does great work without taking advantage of me with prices. Clayton, James and Nelson are all very professional and good at what they do. After a botched kitchen faucet replacement from my home warranty company, I was glad to have the faucet finally fixed. while here Clayton also replaced the valve shut off for the ice maker and kitchen faucet as they were old and leaked when you tried to turn them off. He even added a weight (there was none) to the sprayer nozzle so that it more easily retracts back into place. He made sure the attic furnace is safely up to code by eliminating the flex hose and adding a rigid pipe. They installed and connected a gas BBQ set up in time even though it was not planned for today's schedule so I would have it in time for Super Bowl! They had to ran out and find parts verses rescheduling. They also picked up some extra length in the BBQ hose at my request. I would recommend this company to anyone. I am so grateful for the excellent work, attitude and completed on time same day even with the added extras. it was an overall great experience.

OUTSTANDING ! ! ! Prompt, extremely courteous, reasonable price, etc. Exceeded all expectations. Have had several bad experiences with service people over the past year (AC/ Roofing, Siding) so I was originally reticent but Chambliss Plumbing turned out providing the best service I have ever had. They deserve more than all their A's on Angie's list.

Major home repairs can be a nervous experience for the unexperienced home owner. Knowing this, my wife and I were floored at the level of customer service and quality of work we were provided with by Chambliss Plumbing. After selecting from many reviews on Angie's List, we contacted Chambliss Plumbing, received a very reasonable quote for a full attic install of a new unit and scheduled service for the following day. From start to finish, Clayton and/or Kevin were in consistent contact with us and reviewed the services to be rendered, pricing, and scheduling. They also thoroughly answered any questions we had regarding the equipment and the work. Their work was clean and completed in a timely manner. Professional through and through. In the future, should we require the services of a trustworthy and dependable plumber, we now know where to look!

I had two issues. 1. No cutoff valve for the water outside and very high pressure. 2. The gas fireplace was not working. The service was great. They arrived on time and went right to work. One worked outside at the meter while the other, Clayton replaced a missing shutoff valve for the fireplace gas. After he replaced the valve, he could not turn on the gas fire starter. He searched throughout the attic and finally found where an access panel had been removed and covered over in a hall closet. He open the wall and found a cutoff valve that had been turned off. He opened the valve, repaired the wall, and eventually got the fireplace working. I was very impressed with the professionalism, the price and the efficient work. I plan to use them again for piping the water softener to both cold and hot water and an outside BBQ gas line. I would recommend them to anyone!

Quick and easy! I gathered a few quotes for the work to be done. Chambliss was the most affordable option out of the three quotes from area plumbers. Everyone I interacted with was professional and courteous. I had an appointment later in the afternoon, but they were able to come by early and get it finished earlier than expected! Troy did the work, but I did see Kevin Chambliss stop by and shook his hand. Good to see that kind of supervision accountability and quality control in action. Dealing with plumbing issues can be stressful, but after I chose Chambliss as my plumbers, they took that stress away. Excellent business dealings, excellent service, excellent workmanship. I highly recommend their services.

Beyond excellent service. Kevin and his team provided estimates for the work to be completed and provided clear explanations and expectations. The work was completed on time and slightly under budget. Their service before, during and after the work has been excellent.

There were no surprises in my bill. I was told up front what it would be. They were polite. They wore booties on their shoes when they entered my house so that they wouldn't track any mud inside, since it was raining. I would recommend them in the future.

Skyler arrived on time. He and his apprentice were courteous, professional and friendly. Outstanding job knowledge and skill were evident throughout.

I had a pressure reduction valve/pressure regulator valve (PRV) installed by Chambliss in 2010 to reduce the water pressure flowing into my house. In mid Oct, I noticed that my water pressure had gone up. I called Chambliss on Fr, 10/30, to request a plumber to check my PRV. The first day I could be available was Tu, 11/3, so they scheduled me for that date, between 1 and 3pm. Josh called me shortly before 2pm to say he was on his way. He and his helper (I think his name was Justin) arrived 5-10 minutes later. Josh, who installed the PRV in 2010, listened to my explanation and checked my pressure. It was high (88 PSI). He verified that the PRV was still in good condition and adjusted the pressure down to 70-73 PSI. Josh answered all my questions and resolved my problems, and the whole episode lasted less than 10 minutes. Chambliss is my first choice for any plumbing issues.

Chambliss plumbing was excellent to work with and i highly recommend them for installing gas lines. We replaced an electric cooktop with a gas cooktop and needed a line run to the new cooktop. We already have a gas furnace and gas water heater but weren't sure where the gas lines ran. Kevin came out and gave two estimates (one if they would have to run the line from outside and up through the pantry which was going to be more expensive since the install was a little more complicated. The other option was if a line was found within the pantry they could connect the line there and that would be the cheaper option. Luckily when Kevin, Josh and Martin came out for the install, they were able to find the gas line within the pantry!! what i didnt mention was that i had another company (another angie's list company which i have reviewed as well) come out previous to calling Chambliss) to do an estimate and they didnt even try to look for another option to install and wanted to charge me triple what Chambliss was going to charge. Josh and Martin installed the gas line within a day and i was able to enjoy my cooktop right away. A few weeks later i noticed a faint smell coming from the pantry and turns out I had a small leak. I called Kevin and he sent Josh out who immediately took care of the leak. they were also great in working with the city inspector to insure that i got the gas permit for the city and Josh came over multiple times to ensure that the inspection would go very smoothly. They are super professional , responsive and great to work with. I highly recommend them. You wont be disappointed. Thanks Kevin and team, you are great !!!!!

It was a Friday morning, and they got to my home within the hour of me calling them. The two men that showed up first were Clayton and Riley, they were very respectful and extremely knowledgeable. They got to work immediately. They had to take the warranty plate to pick up the new water heater, they came back about two hours later and finished the job in about two hours. The pricing was fair and they were very reliable. I would use them again if we needed to.

The previous weekend my water main snapped. I performed an emergency repair on my own to save on a Sunday call. Ultimately I had small drip at the regulator and wanted a professional to repair. I called and spoke to a courteous women who scheduled a Saturday appointment which is VERY convenient for those who work weekdays... Skylar arrived during the 2 hour appointment window. He was professional and courteous the entire time. His work was clean and neat. He explained the repair and used the correct piping needed for high pressure. I'm very satisfied with the courteously and professionalism of those involved in this organization. I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

First rate service. Gave me phone quote and explained what was included. Their plumber (Skyler) called ahead, arrived on time and did super job -- courteous, professional, very competent and explained what he was doing. Answered all my questions and couldn't have asked for better experience. Would recommend their work to anyone I know and would definitely use them again.

Excellent service. They we're punctual, courteous, quick, and knowledgeable. We are not yet sure if the problem is resolved, but we will definitely call them again if we continue to have issues.

The Chambliss team was very professional and experienced. They came in and verified my problem (too high water pressure), discussed what they were going to do and then did it quickly and efficiently. Within two hours they had installed the pressure regulator at the water main and installed an expansion tank at the water heater for less than the original quote bringing my system up to code. Thanks Chambliss!

Everything went great. They are very good people. However they were unable to perform service, to no fault of their own, but gave me my money back.

I thought it might need a total rebuild, but Kevin said that just rebuilding part of it would probably take care of the problem and would be less expensive. He assured me that if it didn't work, he would do the total rebuild and only charge the additional amount for a total rebuild. He was correct; the partial rebuild worked and saved me over $200.

We ended up having the work done in two calls as the PRV problem was diagnosed on the first call. This company did everything they said they would do, were easy to work with, and very professional.

Going to get to the point. I was impressed by the professionalism and knowledge of the plumber who actually replaced our water heater and installed our valve & regulator. Now, I have built approximately 90-100 single family homes along with various commercial structures in the capacity of licensed engineer, builder, and developer in the San Antonio area over the past 20+ years. If you live north of loop 410, you've probably shopped, visited, or officed in one my buildings. But enough about me. I digress. Chambliss did everything right--managed customer expectations, worked diligently, did a quality job, and actually did what they said they would do for the fee quoted. And, I know they did more than what was actually necessary. And "more" is better because it improves the performance of our plumbing system. Let's face it folks, good plumbers are hard to find, but excellent plumbers? Well, a rare breed indeed.

They are a good bunch. Mostly they are fairly priced for the work that they do. This last job would have been expensive with anybody. We have only used them for the last four or five years. We keep going back to them because they are just great folks -- fun to talk to and they do great work.

When they do a job, they don't have to come back. They fix whatever the problem is. With Chambliss, I think they're very good because they fix it. They're good in everything.

After getting very reasonable estimate from Andre over the phone for replacement gas tank heaters (he did a GREAT job of explaining options and answering lots of questions), we decided to look into a tankless gas water heater. Talked to Kevin regarding options. Kevin was very knowledgeable and answered LOTS of questions on the phone and we had him out for estimate ($45 -credited to work done), where he answered even more questions. The quote was very reasonable relative to other estimates for our job (my research showed that each retrofit can be different), so we said yes. Scheduling the install date took longer due to all the rain (not Chambliss fault as needed roofer to cut larger roof opening for vent - ~ $250 separate from cost above). Clayton was the lead on our job and he and his partner (sorry don't remember name) were fantastic - they explained everything they were doing, were VERY professional and completed the work within the day. There were no surprises, the gas water heater works great and we no longer have tank heaters in the attic. So happy with service, we also needed to have the pressure release valve replaced and they came out next day to fix based on estimate for that separate job (Clayton & partner again - great!). We will definitely be using them for our future plumbing needs!

It went ok. They called ahead, were on time, had all the parts required on the truck, provided a good quality water heater, worked steady and hard, hauled off the old water heater, cleaned up afterwards, and did the job quickly. The only issue was the vent through the roof. I was advised that the new vent pipe/roof outlet were not a tight fit and that I needed a roofer to seal the opening. They applied an external sealer as an interim measure and recommended calling a roofer to check for required repairs to make a good seal and prevent leaks. My judgement of this issue is that I understand and accept this, but it would have been better for me if it could have all been taken care of at the same time, at the quoted price. I am not complaining, just looking at it from my consumer point of view (overall value).
