When I called, the receptionist said they were backed up, too busy and wouldn't be able to assist.

Disconnecting was very quick, as there were 3 guys doing it. They were prompt, professional & left the area clean. The reconnect (scheduled for 2 days later) had to be rescheduled by a day. It was inconvenient, but they assured me they would compensate me for it. The reconnect was now on a Saturday & took the 1 guy all day, plus another hour on Tues. Overall, I was very satisfied with the work they did, but due illness (and a baby!) the reconnect took longer than originally expected. These things happen & I did pay less than originally quoted, so it worked out.

We woke up in the morning with water dripping out of our attic pull down and realized that out 16-year old water heater had finally given out. We called and left a message very early and our call was returned before their 8:00 opening. We were quoted a competitive price for replacement and scheduled service. Josh and his assistant arrived just after 9:00, went straight to work and were very professional, efficient and friendly.

GREAT! The entire process was very smooth, from the receptionist/office manager demonstrating a willingness to help by putting in the extra effort to get me fast service, with them or another company. Luckily, I ended up with Chambliss. When the technician showed up, he completed all the work, cleaning up and went above my expectation by doing the "extra" to make sure I was satisfied with everything done. Very refreshing to find a company with this wiliness to provide a quality product, friendly customer service and doing it all for a fair price.

Excellent- technicians who came out were professional but laid back. They seemed to be happy employees, which reflected in the quality of their work. There was a true sense of teamwork as well in getting my water heater replaced/tested.

When I called to get an estimate done I was surprised to actually talk to the owner. I told him the problem with my existing softener and he knew exactly what the issue was. I decided I wanted it changed out and he said his softener installer was on vacation that week so he would come out and do it. I was surprised he was willing to work on it rather than pushing it back. On install day he showed up and he diagnosed another problem I was having. It couldn't be fixed that day without opening the wall, but he gave me a fair price to come back when I was ready and recommended a tile installer to fix what he would have to remove. I was very impressed with him and his company. The price on the new softener was way lower than the previous company that said they would be here if I ever had a problem. Unfortunately when calling them I would get an answering machine every time and they wouldn't call me back.

Work went well and Kevin personally followed up.

I found them through Angie's List. They are good and very reasonable. They did an excellent job. I had them out here to replace an outside faucet. I really like it, they did a good job and it was reasonably priced. They used a better grade of toilet. When they said they were going to be here they were here. They were very professional. I got one of those new faucets in the kitchen that pulls out. I love it.

Perfect! Called ahead, came early, was polite and professional, completed job quickly w/o issues or any added charges above original telephone quote. Also provided Angie's list member discount. Highly recommend. Will use again.

Josh and his helper were very professional, showed up on time and finished the job efficiently. I had expected several components would need to be changed in the toilet tank. But Josh quickly diagnosed the problem as lime build up which he quickly dispatched with a thorough cleaning of the disassembled parts. He then educated me on future maintenance of the toilet that would avoid the leaks. We have had plumbers who would have just replaced all the innards of the toilet tank and presented me with a large bill. But, these folks were genuinely interested in providing honest service. We have used Chambliss before and have been very satisfied with their work. We will continue to call upon them for any future plumbing problems.

All went well as it always does! I talked to Kevin in the morning and he said they would get to the bottom of any possible leak problems that may have contributed to a high water bill. Since I was out of town he said he would have his plumber call me after they had the results of checking the whole house for a leak. Sure enough his plumber called me before he left the property to deliver the good news that there was no leak. I was very relieved!

Called thinking I'd need a new water heater. When Andre arrived, he said the heater was hot, so he checked the plumbing and found that the master shower head needed a new cartridge. I told Andre that when I need a new water heater I will call him. He was very courteous and explained everything to me. My water heater is still working.

Josh, master plumber, is superb, quick, and knew exactly how to fix everything with that professional touch. Chambliss is in my contacts as my go to plumber and I wouldn't consider anyone else

There was a small snafu initially. I called and was told a plumber would call me back that same day (the previous Thursday) and an appointment was available for the next day. I never received the call back and called again the next day and this time received a call from a plumber as promised. He verified that I had the proper plumbing fixtures and quoted me a price, but by this time no appointments were available for that day (Friday). I had to wait until the next Monday for an appointment. They arrived early for the appointment and after examining the water softener I had provided, altered the estimate (it is not your typical water softener and requires a lot more plumbing). The price was higher than I would have hoped, but probably fair in comparison to other plumbers. They did a quick and very good quality job. They were very courteous and professional. They stayed a little while after telling me that they had finished to make sure a small leak was fixed. The plumber took the time to explain to me how to use and maintain the new water softener. I felt they did a great job.

This was the second time we've used them. They do fine work!

Complete re-plumb of a large master bathroom. I had copper pipes that kept springing leaks so I gutted the bathroom and brought in Kevin Chambliss to re-plumb the bathroom with Pex lines instead of copper. On the first visit they relocated a couple vent pipes, moved the shower and tub drains, added an additional shower line, and did the rough in plumb for two vanities in a new location. The second visit involved installing the freestanding tub, changing the toilet water line, and changing out the exterior house hose bibs. The last visit in my remodel was the final installation of the sink faucets and plumbing connections to the sinks. I was extremely pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism of the owner Kevin and the master plumber Josh and his apprentice John. Excellent crew. Very pleased with the overall job and the outcome. Would definitely hire again.

On April 13 we requested to have a new stainless steel sink installed. We set the time for 9 AM. At 8:45 Martin called and said they would be at the location in about 30 minutes. Sure enough Martin and James showed at 9:15. I gave them the new sink and they explained what could happen when they pulled out the old (43 year old) sink. We told them we under stood and to proceed. They started the job. While Martin was under the old sink and disconnecting things James was putting all the new fitting on the new sink. They were really quite and we hardly knew they were here. They popped the old sink out and the old disposal. They proceeded to install our old faucet and put in some new PVC pipe as the old stuff would not line up, which I expected. They installed the new disposal on the sink and dropped in the new sink. This process took about two hours and when we went in to look at the finished job, it was amazing. We could not be more pleased with how it all turned out. We have used this company for several other plumbing project and every time have been pleased with the work that the company has done. I have no hesitation in recommending this company or their employees. All the work was well done and in a very timely manor. The cost was less that we were quoted and work was very quick and timely. Could not be more pleased with CHAMBLISS Plumbing.

Everything you would want from a service company: affordable, honest, excellent customer service, high quality work and willingness to go above and exceed expectations. They performed a gas test on my 86 year-old house ($100+ cheaper than several other Angie's List A-rated plumbing companies), quickly spotted the leak and scheduled a repair. I've used 3 different A-Rated San Antonio plumbing companies on Angie's List in the last year... TRUST ME when I say Chambliss Plumbing is the best in town. I only wish I had tried them sooner!

Very professional company. They came out quickly and performed the work perfectly. A few days after the installation, I found a small pool of water under the sink and called them to come out and check on the disposal and faucet. A very nice young man came out twice to check it out. Turns out the leak was from my sink, not from anything Chambliss had installed. They went above and beyond to try to fix the leak. Prompt and professional and good contact. I highly recommend and I will call them again.

They were able to give me a reasonable quote over the phone because I knew exactly what I needed. No service call or fee required. The quote was several hundred dollars cheaper than another company I had spoken to. They got me on the schedule quickly and the work was done without any attempt to up sell me.

Wow! Best service I've had from a tradesman in 30 years of home ownership. Kevin, the owner, stopped by the same day I called for an estimate. We bought some of the fixtures ourselves. At time of the estimate, Kevin recommended a different brand for close to the same price. We bought the upgraded fixtures and were glad we did. Price for the total package was fair so scheduled it right away. Plumber showed up on time, and was pleasantly surprised when Kevin himself showed up, also. The owner did some of the work himself, the other plumber the rest. Work went fast. Everything works great and looks great. He is a hands on tradesman with high integrity and very conscientious of of his work and our satisfaction. Outstanding!

Kevin Chambliss, just drove over to look at my laundry room, water softener, kitchen sink, dishwasher. He gave me exactly the advice I needed. His price for purchase and installing a new softener is HALF what others are charging! We have worked with Kevin Chambliss and all his employees before. They are reliable, HONEST, fair prices. And if you're not satisfied, they will come back until you are happy. I wish I could give them an A PLUS!!!! I encourage everyone who needs a plumber to call Chambliss! You will be so glad you did.

We would definitely use these guys again, they were courteous on the phone when making the appointment and giving the quote, able to come out the next day, and very professional. Cleaned up after and made the whole process of replacing our water heater pain free -- we had scheduled another plumber from a big box store to come out the day before for 50$ less, however once he arrived he added an additional $1200 to the price for "labor", which was already included in the original quote -- Another plumber which was associated with our home warranty wanted $1850 for the same job. We will only use these guys in future. From what I understand Chambliss only provide Rheem water heaters - the water heater itself is built in the U.S. and comes with a 6 year parts warranty, 1 year labor warranty so that is fine by me - however for an additional $250 we could have had the ten year warranty. All in all, I highly recommend Chambliss, thanks Angie's List for helping us find these guys!
