Carnival Custom Painting

It didn't work out so well. I bought two painters for a day, but what I got from them was two painters for about three hours with a promise to come back and they never did. The work that they did do was pretty good. My interaction with them was difficult and there were some scheduling issues. I ended up canceling going to work a couple of times to allow them to come and do the work that I had paid for. They finally came on a weekend day and used that as a justification for why they couldn't stay all day. The guy called me back about three weeks later and said that he never came back out here to finish and that he hadn't forgotten me, but that's been probably three months ago. I just finally gave up on them and wouldn't use them again. The painter did a great job.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it turned out well. The workers they sent were extremely professional, clean and nicely mannered. Altogether I had a very positive experience with them. I highly recommend them. We had some delays because of rain. I had to pay additional charges for the stain for my shutters and garage doors and the paint used for the fencing. I got a really good deal on the pricing.

We had previously used Carnival Painting for some interior painting, and when an Angie's List coupon for Carnival came through for exterior painting, we didn't hesitate to get the coupon. Brad Matajek is the principal we dealt with, and he couldn't be more professional and pleasant to work with. Prior to scheduling, Brad worked with us to select the paint colors and he had one of his supervisors put some samples on the house so that we could see how the color scheme would look, and he came by himself and put more samples on for us. Once the paint was selected, the scheduling of the job (would take 3 days) went smoothly. We had a slight delay due to rain. The guys from Carnival who did the work were polite and professional. They did a beautiful job and made sure to ask us if they had questions about details. When the job was complete, we were very happy to see that everything was left clean. We had a dead small tree at the side of the house. Without our asking them to do it, they chopped it up and hauled it away! Our house looks beautiful. We would encourage anyone who is thinking of painting (interior or exterior) to use Carnival Custom Painting. They do great work and are very reasonable as to price.

We set up an appointment with the contractor twice. After the first appointment, we contacted them again to set up a new date and time (this past Friday). They did not appear again. No follow-up messages or phone calls have been received.

The crew worked fast and efficiently. A window was broken in the process but they replaced it for free.

The painting quality was wonderful and they did a great job. However, they were only here for 4 hours. When I asked them to do some additional painting, they seemed reluctent because they thought they were just doing the kitchen. I am confused as I thought I was purchasing a days worth of painting as the Big Deal had said in its description.

Purchased an Angie's List Big Deal to paint the exterior of my home. The total square footage exceeded the deal by a bit, but the price was reasonable. There was quite a backlog of jobs for them to do, but once they got to me in the queue, they were very prompt and responsive. I asked them to match the current colors on the house, which they did perfectly. The job took about two days total. I am very happy with the results. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

I contacted Brad from Carnival Painting to get a estimate, I was very impressed with his professionalism from my first call I had with him. He was very polite and accommodating on when would be a good time for me to give an estimate. We set a time and he was there right on time, not like a lot of other people that make appointments and do not show at all or show up late and think nothing of it. Brad gave me a very reasonable price and we set a time to do the work. Brad is very blessed to have such a wonderful crew working for him! Everyone was very nice and accommodating to any questions I had. Their workmanship was a 5 STAR QUALITY! You could not get any better workmanship and would be very hard to find another painter to produce such wonderful workmanship even close to theirs! There was not ONE drop of paint or ANY OVER SPRAY anywhere on the job site! All the work was started and finished as agreed upon. I feel very lucky to have found Brad, it is not easy to find this type of workmanship today!

The Carnival Paint crew did a great job painting the exterior of our 11-year-old home. The initial contact was made within 24 hours of us purchasing the deal. The estimator arrived promptly at the scheduled time and the square footage calculation was on the mark. The painting crew came on the first day and washed the siding and trim to ensure good paint adhesion. Due to the rain we were receiving, they waited 2 days and then began the prep work that included caulking cracks and edges and covering windows and doors. They spray painted the siding and porch ceilings, being careful to ensure no overspray, and then hand painted the areas that could not be sprayed and the contrasting facia. The crew worked hard, were friendly and were careful with our landscape and property. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I'd use them again. Although the A-100 paint is good paint, we chose to upgrade to the Super Paint and recommend others do also.

Everything went great with the experience and I would use them again.

Carnival painting did an outstanding job on our home. The painters arrived as scheduled, performed the work as agreed upon, and did the work very professionally. Previously, when we used other painters, we were very disappointed. Carnival painting renewed our confidence that there are painters that act responsibly and do a professional job!

We had a bit of an issue in the beginning with one of Brads new employees not following through. However, Brad really stepped up and provided us great painting service. We loved how our home turned out and he guarantees the work. I would choose him again and know that he would follow through. He really wants to please the customer and keep their business. He will keep our business!

I bought an Angie's List coupon for $399 for 8 man hours of painting. Brad Matejek came out to see what I needed and went over everything to be sure all could be done in the 8 hrs. His two guys arrived on time and got the job done in the 8hrs. Our french doors are double doors with lots of small panes of glass, so it was very time consuming. Brad came by first thing and checked on things. He noticed I had the wrong paint, so I returned it and got the right kind. I was worried that may hold things up and they wouldn't finish on time, but they did. The cabinets and french doors look terrific. This is the first time I've used Carnival Painting, and I will definitely use Carnival Painting in the future.

Brad was on and off the site frequently,answered all questions and was very open to any concerns we had regarding type of paint to use,and prep work required.Crew worked every day and was very quiet. The crew foreman was especially approachable and open to all suggestions

The price i paid was for 24 hours of labor. The owner argued with me, his employees showed up late, visited amongst one another instead of working at a good pace. then he tried to charge me 4800 more than what i had already paid. They left electrical plugs exposed over the weekend with three small children in the house, The base boards were not finished as many of the projects they were working on. I will nEVER use or recommend this company.

They came and we discussed the job and we scheduled it. They showed up on time, painted what they said they would do and left everything neat. It looks nice and I have no complaints. Good job. I hope to use them again next time I need interior of exterior painting done at my home.

We received several bids on replacing our house trim and repainted the exterior of our house. We received the best bid BY far from Carnival Custom Painting. Brad was quick to respond and provide a bid, and was quick to answer questions. Brad's team started Monday and finished in 3 days. The painting looks great! The crew was friendly and respectful. We need some painting done on our interior and I will DEFINITELY be hiring these guys again. Excellent work and excellent communication!! A+++++

I was looking to paint the exterior of my house when I came across this Big Deal. It was just what I was looking for. I purchased the deal and received a call from Brad the next day. Brad performed a walk through and told me what to expect. Once we agreed on a date, the work began right on schedule. His staff was very professional and courteous. Once the job was complete, we performed a walk through and they made sure I was satisfied with the work they did. Everything was great!

They came as promised, solved a problem. We were overall very pleased.

Brad and his team were fantastic from the time of the estimate to the very end. I received regular updates from the project manager and Brad was onsite as well to oversee the work. The team was very efficient and professional and left the property exactly as they found it..with the exception of a beautiful freshly painted home. They took great care in preparation by covering all windows and exterior lighting fixtures. I was impressed at how quickly they worked and the quality of the finished product. I did end up having to spend a little more to put a second coat on the trim, but Brad explained that may be the case prior to starting the job. There were no surprises and they completed the project on time. I recommended Carnival Custom Painting to my next door neighbor this weekend when she mentioned having their home painted. I will continue to recommend Brad and his team to everyone I know! They ROCK!

They arrived on time, as scheduled. They were very clean and professional. They did what they were hired to do and I was very pleased with their work.

As with his painting job, Brad is a perfectionist, coming over several times to make sure everything was done to perfection. The crew was as always very friendly, helpful and polite. I had to stay out of that bathroom for a couple of days but that was no problem. Everything was done just as I wanted. I am now asking Brad to do another project; that is how happy I am with the service.

Carnival Custom Painting painted 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in my home. I was extremely impressed by Brad the owner, he was available every step of the way. Brad stressed that he demanded quality workmanship from his painters and the work completed was proof. Brad and his employees exemplified professionalism thru out the project. Upon completion, a final walk thru was done to assure we were satisfied with all rooms. They did a great job and we highly recommend Carnival Custom Painting to all our friends and family!
