They showed up on time. There was some confusion about payment between office and job foreman but it was easily worked out. We paid for an extra hour. The original price was 3 hours for 3 men for $325. They worked hard and stayed on schedule. The job was bigger than anticipated. We used another crew to unload in Texas to unload. The only reason I would NOT use them again is that once the most expensive pieces were unwrapped at the new location there was damage to my furniture from the friction of the long distance move which of course means there was not enough with padding the largest pieces. We provided twice as many blankets as required and they appeared to be using plenty of shrink wrap. We would have purchased more blankets if necessary had they communicated they thought they might need more just to be on the safe side. I am now trying to locate someone to fix the scrapes to the finish on the edges of my carved finish breakfast nook table and chair tops, a place that goes all the way to the wood on my retro black lacquer pier and a large scrape across the edge of a hand made cedar chest. We did not supervise the packing of the truck because they appeared to be closely supervised by the foreman who kept checking back with us as they loaded. As far as we could tell it was packed and padded well. Everything looked well packed. Disappointing. If you use this company they are adequate to the task, priced reasonably and work hard but I would recommend that you supervise very carefully on your large pieces especially if you intend to move a long distance.
