BTB HOME IMPROVEMENT & REMODELING

We used Bob the Builder for various projects around the house before with no problems so we hired him to put our wood floor in. He said he was going to use his sons to help with the project he could train them but he would be there to supervise since he didn't have his usual staff anymore. Where to start, first after a week of pulling tile out which was not even done completely he started trying to put the new floor in. He didn't even finish pulling the carpet out as well. When they disconnected the fridge they damaged the water line which I had to get a new one. He would constantly leave to go to Home Depot to go get supplies( it turns out he was going to do other jobs and leaving his sons to do the work). I must say that the sons have a good work ethic but were not supervised. When they started putting the new floor they only did the first 20 feet by 3 feet after which I had to stop the project. They left gaps, the floor was misaligned so it actually curved (which he later said wasn't that big of a deal)and the floor wasn't stuck in some places. Some of the wood stopped short of the walls by a quarter inch which he said he could fix by cutting a piece of wood and sticking it under. When asked how he would fix the gaps he said he would cut pieces of wood and stick it in between as well. They would sometimes kick the floor into place and they actually left the floor they were installing marked up which we pulled out anyway with the new company we used. I also want to share that when they were pulling tile from the floor, the machine they used rubbed on the walls marking them up so we had to repaint the walls and when they were putting the floor in they actually put more in but had to pull it off due to it being such as bad job which by the time they had already wasted one can of glue and wasted about 5-6 boxes of the floor. I do also want to say that when they were pulling the tile out since they wouldn't drape the areas well dust would come out forcing us to wash everything in the house, vacuum the walls and floors in other areas of the house and throw most items of food out. Like I said we had used him for small stuff before and no problems but beware of using him for bigger projects He did later text me and said it was pretty much my fault for not letting him fix the floor.

They were a no show and didn't answer my phone calls till 3 hours after our appointment.
