Description of Work: Shawn with Bryco (office mgr or owner) said work would be 350.00-450.00. We needed our water heater upgraded with drain pan and expansion tank. In order to help cut costs, we provided the drain pan, pvc pipes and expansion tank, which they used. The crew was there approximately 3 hours and charged us 450.00 even though we provided the majority/most costly of the items needed to do the job. When I questioned Alfred (the one who seemed to be in charge) about the 450.00 charge, he said well that is what you were quoted. I was very disappointed with the charge, because it was as though that was going to be the charge even before they got on the job. Why bother to quote me a price range, if you plan to charge me the high end anyway, especially when I provided the materials???

Description of Work: I needed 3 shower heads installed, an exam of why the kitchen faucet didn't work properly and making one of the toilets flush a bit better. It took about 5-10 minutes for each of the shower heads + installing a part they had in the truck for $50 (1 plumber, 1 helper), a brief 2 minutes to tell me they couldn't fix the kitchen faucet (had to order a new one--but not from them), and about 10 minutes on one of the commodes. I understood they worked at $75/hour. I expected it to take less than an hour. But at the time the bill was prepared, they charged me for 2 hours because they said I went into the second hour by 10 minutes but they had to charge the full additional hour. It was also at the time of the bill I was informed that the first "hour" meant 45 minutes. They charge you for 15 minutes of drive time and charged $6 for a fuel surcharge. The bill came to $210 but I asked for the "Angie's List" discount and got $15 off. They were nice and polite and I'm sure probably bored with the simplicity of what needed done, but I am a single senior and needed the help. I don't know if I will use them again or not...maybe yes, maybe no.
