They were excellent. They showed up on time. They did good work, and they were courteous.

Two people from Brightview Services cleaned my homes windows inside and out for $99 as part of an Angie’s List Big Deal promotion. I paid a little more because one side of my house has solar screens that they had to remove. My windows have never looked so good! They did an excellent job and I plan to make them a part of my annual Spring cleaning – and maybe my Fall cleaning too.

They were very pleasant and also professional, and my windows look wonderful! I would definitely use them again.

They called us and they said they were going to be in the area. They did a really good job. I ordered them on 1st May 2011. It was an excellent deal. It was $ 200 worth of services for $ 100. At the time what we wanted was the downstairs windows to be cleaned and we have a 2 storey house. When they came they actually did the entire downstairs for half. They did the entire downstairs, cleaned all the screens and put them back on. They did a really good and excellent job. It was $ 99 for it. The windows were great. They were very quick, efficient and polite. I absolutely will use them again in the future.

They were very pleasant, and they did a good job. The price and quality of the work was good. It took a while because I contacted them right before the holidays, but that wasn't his fault. He was very punctual.

They were excellent. I would go through them again. They professional, thorough and were great at communication.

This was a $99 "Deal" I purchased in November 2011. The goal was to have clean windows for the holidays. I immediately called to schedule the cleaning and was disappointed to learn that the first available appointment was a couple days before Christmas. Appointment time was 10AM and I took the day off work to be at the house. About an hour before they were to arrive they called to say that due to rain the day before they would be unable to clean the windows. We rescheduled the cleaning for the same day, following week. Just like before, they called about an hour before they were due to arrive and said that the appointment was supposed to be from 10-12 and that they would be coming closer to 12. Okay, no problem, I had again taken the whole day off so no big deal. Then, they called at 1PM to say they would be there at about 2PM. At that point I'd had enough. I canceled the appointment and asked for a refund which I have not received. ** UPDATE 1/12/2012 BS called to say that my comments are not valid and that they couldn't issue a refund because refunds must be issued within 30 days of purchase. Is this is why they schedule jobs 30 days out? Interesting strategy I must say. Caller said that BS was going to have my review removed since they have so much positive feedback. Interesting again as this suggests that a company can perform poorly and keep a good rating because they used to do a good job. I'm not sure this is what Angies Hicks had in mind when she started the list. I offered to remove my comments from Angies List upon receipt of a refund to which BS responded that they would send the refund only AFTER I remove my feedback. Another stalemate with BS. ** Regarding Provider's Response ** One would expect a reply like that but of course it doesn't address the problem. I paid for a service that was never performed and the provider refuses to issue a refund. The fact that Brightview Services feels entitled to be paid for services which they did not perform speaks volumes about their total lack of integrity. **Update 2/12/2012 Angies List did the right thing when Brightview refused. Very Professional. Be sure to ask about screen cleaning. It was not included with the original quote. Screens are extra.

Some months ago I purchased a $99 Angie's Special coupon for Brightview Services to clean inside and outside of windows. When Hector and his crew came, Hector determined that some of our windows are at 2-story level, though the house is a 1-story house. There are 4 high windows that required a ladder. After some negotiating about how many windows could be done for the price of the coupon, we agreed that Brightview would clean outside of windows only and wash the screens. I decided to leave off the glass block window in the bathroom because it would have added $20.00 to the price. As it was, I paid $132.00, in addition to the coupon, in order to get all the windows done on the outside and the screens washed. I have a total of 24 windows. A day or two after Hector was here, I noticed a transom window appeared to have been missed. I called Brightview, and Hector and his crew came back and cleaned the window. They didn't think they had missed it but thought a bird had flown into it. Anyway, they redid it cheerfully. I was pleased with Brightview's work but would like to find a window cleaner that doesn't charge quite so much.

Hector and worker showed up on schedule and called before arriving. Hector presented a card immediately when door was answered.The workers were very professional, friendly, worked continuously and politely accomodated all requests.The windows and screens look beautiful. I definitely would have BrightView Services again and highly recommend them.

First he scheduled our appointment for Columbus Day, which was over a month from the time I called to schedule with him. He then called on the Friday before and had to cancel because he did not realize he had scheduled me on a holiday and his people do not work holidays. Next appointment had to be rescheduled because his truck broke down. Then, he rescheduled at a time that was better for him than me because he was not available when I was. I asked him to get started on the job as I would be home late from work that day. He agreed. Apparently when they arrived he had additional questions for me and was unable to reach me at work, so left without doing anything. When I finally got his message and called him back, he advised that he needed a rescheduling fee of $60.00 on top of the cleaning fee, I had already paid, to come back and do the job. When I finally told him I would have my lawyer contact him, he said ok and hung up. He called back two hours later, made the appointment for the next day, and came a did the job. He is not work the headache.

We had them take our screens off and clean, it was a couple hundred dollars more for us. SIMPLY PERFECT FROM START TO FINISH

We have already discussed using them twice a year on a regular basis from this point forward.

I had to schedule the appointment for a month out. My original appointment was for October 7. I called to see if anyone had canceled and he was able to push me to October 5. He told me he would be here between 11 AM & Noon. He was late. He belittled me and was very rude in his time here to provide an estimate. He tried to gauge me with an additional $261.00 charge. I would not recommend him. After it took him a month to come to my home, he said he would have to reschedule to do the actual cleaning.

We used the "big deal", which was $99 for 20 "windows". Hector and his crew arrived at our home in New Braunfels on time and worked in some rain on the outside. He used booties to cover his shoes when he went inside, which I appreciated. Their cleaning process appeared to be quite thorough, but there were some streaks and it did not remove some of the hard water deposits on the exterior glass that we usually are able to remove. Mostly the windows looked good afterwards, however. They worked quickly and efficiently. My main complaint is how he counts windows. We have 11 old-fashioned wood windows, which he agreed counted as 11. However, we have a closed-in porch that has 3 sets of single-pane aluminum windows (2, 3, and 2). One of the set of 2 windows is much narrower than the other. Both I and the contractors who bid on replacing those windows (which we decided not to do last year) agreed that that totaled 7 windows. Hector called them "french" windows, and said each was actually 2 windows, if I understand his counting method correctly, because both the upper stationary window and the lower window which could be raised had a bar across the middle! (His information did include a warning about "french windows" being extra, but I thought those were windows with lots of small glass panes and which opened on hinges on the sides rather than up and down as normal windows do.) In addition to those, we have 2 doors with glass in them and 2 "storm" doors with an upper glass panel and a lower glass panel that is screened on the outside and can be raised. His initial count of all windows was 28. (Using what I understand to be his counting method, I think the breakdown was: 11 for the wood windows, 14 for the porch windows, 2 for the storm doors, and I guess he counted each window in the doors as 1/2 a window for a total of 1 window since he seemed to count 2 undivided pieces of glass as 1 window.) (The way I counted, I thought I had 22 windows: 11 wood, 7 porch, 2 storm door, and 2 in-door, which I was not going to have them wash in order to bring the total to the 20 covered by the "big deal".) When I suggested taking out the doors and only doing the windows, it only reduced the number of his count to 25. I stated I only wanted the 20 windows, so he left out some of the porch windows and one of the doors (both storm and wood with glass). This morning in the sunshine I realized that the two smaller porch windows without screens that I thought he would do were not done, but instead he did several of the larger porch windows that had screens. That caused me to upgrade the quality to A. I will not use this company again because of its method of counting windows.

They arrived promptly, assessed the situation, we agreed upon some extras and they went to work. It's kind of a blur now, but I think they started with the inside windows and then did the outside. They worked in 100 degree heat but were fast, efficient and professional. I tipped them and off they went! If I need their services I'll call them again. But I highly recommend them. You will get your money's worth. If you want to lowball, that's your choice. This service charges reasonable prices for how hard they work and the results are fantastic! And please tip your service people. A reasonable amount is $20/worker. You get what you pay for, and they don't expect a tip, but every time someone comes to your house to provide service, a tip is proper etiquette.

They used our garden hoses for washing of the screens since they did not have a hose. I thought that was odd for them not to carry one with them since it is basically a tool of their trade. One of our hoses which was in poor condition actually ruptured in half and I provided another hose. Other than that the service went very well. The cleaning quality was good and the crew was courteous and professional. I will use them again in the future.

They call before coming, i like that. Looked at the windows and told me the charge for the extra window above the coupon price. Were fast and did a wonderful job.

Brightview Services (Hector), power washed our large deck while we were at church. We very happy with the appearance of our deck when we came back from church. Superb work, dependable, friendly, reasonable...

Several weeks latter, we dicoverd that the workers had, after washing the window, put every screen in backwards. The tension clips had been put on the bottom of the screen; the screen releases were on the top. The screen on each window was an inch from the window sill!!!! My husband called Mr. Sepulveda to discuss the matter. Mr. S assured John that the windows were in correctly. He is sorry that Mr. Medlin did not this know but he had corrected it (the screens being upside down) at no extra cost. There was now an inch under each window for bugs to crawl in but that was just the was it was. He saw no problem and he did not feel any responsiblity for John's concerns. he then hung up. I, however, was still angry about the attitude of Mr. S. So I did a little snooping around the neighborhood and every window was exactly the same: tension clips on the top, screen releases on the bottom. I then stopped at two majer home improvment stores, explained the problem and at the both stores, when the men stopped laughing, showed me samples of windows like ours. ALL windows had tenion clips on the top and the knobs on the bottle. I called Mr. S. and told him of my findings both in the neigthborhood and in the stores. I asked that he have someone to come and fix the screens. At that, Mr S. said that they were all wrong, citing his 10 years of experience in the field. I tried to tell him that based on my findings, he needed to fix the situation. At that point, he began to rant that he was right and everyone was wrong. Afterall he had 10 years experience. He said he explained it to my husband, who accepted his word. I pointed out that I had done some research (I told him what I had done) which showed that the screens were put in wrong. From that point on, Mr. S. started to yell that he was right and those guys in the stores were wrong; that I would not let him explain again about his 10 years experience; that he would not take that kind of abuse and hung up. This behavior surprized me since I kept telling him I was trying to listen to him and would appreciate his listening to me. To sum it up, any good feelings based on the very good window cleaning job disintegrated into annoyance over Mr. S's unresonable response to our attempt to discuss a problem. I would in no way recommend his company because of Mr. S's uncooperative behavior. In the future, I will be very leary of recommendation like this on Angie's list.

These guys were great - punctual, professional, polite, detail-oriented - and they did a fantastic job. My windows are incredibly clean and it makes such a big difference. I would highly recommend them and am definitely going to use them in the future.
