 + -1 moreVery professional. Providers showed up promptly and proceeded to work. When they entered the house they wore shoe covers. Throughly cleaned all windows and screens. Explained some of my windows would need to be replaced since they had been damaged by the weather over the course of 18 years. I would definately use again.

 + -1 morewe feel that the service was very expensive for what we received. we have large commercial window with no dividers. the 20 windows for which we oaid were reduced to 11 by their calculation. they were here for 1/2 hour.that would mean they make $260 an hour without the Angie's list coupon. i have paid close to that for all my windows (which number 35-40 or probably 60 by their calculations) - inside and outside..

 + -1 moreThe service was fast and corteous, but the end result was disappointing.
Description of Work: I was chargd for removing the screens. My windows did not las clean more than a couple of weeks. Another company I had hired in the past used a liquid that kept the windows clean for a couple of months. When they cleaned the windows I did not realized that the big window on the front you can see the streaks they left. I would not contract this sergices again.

 + -1 moreIt didn't go at all as I sent them away before they even entered our home and immediately called for a complete refund and followed up with a long disseratation explaining this situation.
Description of Work: I have already submitted a full page essay (as requested by the customer service representative for Angie's List on Brightwood Services. I brought my list out to them to discuss which windows needed cleaning. I hope that this long dissertation was received and processed. However, I never received a reply from anyone about this matter. It was my first and last expereince with Angie's List of recommended contractors.

 + -1 moreI felt very good from the moment they entered the house in their little "Booties". Thet thourily cleand all the windows inside and out, NO MESS. They then also cleaned all of the screens. Very careful with cleaning water, did a bang up job with the clean up of all work areas. Friendly, but only while they worked hard.

 + -1 moreI purchased a coupon for Brightview's services to have windows cleaned. I had been busing another service (Clear Vision of San Antonio) but thought I'd save some money with the coupon. That turned out not to be the case. With Brightview's prices the coupon didn't cover much and I would have had to pay considerably more to have all the windows done. I decided to only have the work done that was covered by the coupon and contact our other service to finish cleaning the rest. Clear Vision cleans a high mounted entryway chandelier for us for an additional $15. Brightview was not able to perform that service.

I had taken off days from work and arranged time to be at home to meet with the provider, and he always had an excuse why he couldn't work, so I was thoroughly unimpressed. I'm disappointed that Angie's List recommended this provider and included it as one of their special deals.

Description of Work: Cleaned exterior windows after all screens were removed by me. Screens cleaned and reinstalled. Work excluded the r lower windows in the front as those can be cleaned from the interior without removing the screens.

 + -1 moreBrightview sent two men who called before arriving and came at the time agreed upon. They were very thorough about their job and re-cleaned a window on which i saw a cloudy area when the work was finished. They left the area clean and neat. I had them clean my screens (which was not part of the special) . The screens are over ten years old and not made of metal but are made of a plactic fabric. There were a few small nicks in the fabric after the cleaning which was possibly due to the age of the screens. Overall I was very pleased with the work and clean-up

I will use this company again on a regular basis to maintain the windows in my house.  + 0 moreThey were very difficult to get in contact with and after 9 phone calls and several days an appointment to clean my windows was set for Oct.10. Thefy never came or bothered to call. It was a perfectly clear day as I knew bad weather could cancel the appointment. I,m still out 65$ and cant bear the thought and aggravation of having to get in contact with them again.

Description of Work: An Angie's List special recommendation, we purchased two window washing packages from Brightwood Services (BS). Alas, on the day the washing person came we discovered there was a problem regarding our technical understanding of what constitutes "French Windows" (apparently it's any window with more than two panes per frame, i.e., all of ours!), and the BS representative told us the window package didn't cover washing French windows (which we knew from the fine print, but didn't think applied to us). We were not happy with this unexpected news; when we proposed the idea of the company combining our two prepaid packages and washing fewer windows at a later date, the BS man rejected it. The window washing business must have been very good back in April 2011 because he unilaterally decided on the spot to cancel the whole deal, telling us it was evident we were unhappy and would write up a bad Angie's List review on the company no matter what they did (how prophetic!). When we asked the BS representative to give us a written statement to that effect as we didn't know if the Angie's List people would believe us when we told them our story, he said he didn't have to do anything for us and drove off into the sunset.

 + -1 moreI used this company because of an Angie's List Big Deal. Pricing was misleading as they charged quite a bit extra for each window division. I felt stuck since I had already paid for the Big Deal, so it was either pay more or get only part of the windows done. Also, they charge extra for removing screens, so I ended up removing screens at the last minute. I suggest calling to find out how much extra charges will be before spending any money on this company. They did a good job of washing the windows.

 + -1 moreThey did a good job, however, disappointed in the fact that the coupon never stated that 2nd story window would cost more. Our house most windows sit at a second story. So did not get as much for my money. Wish the coupons clear spell out what is included for the money!

Description of Work: I was dissappointed in the quality of the window cleaning. The outside of the windows were done and I had to leave prior to their finishing. Two windows badly streaked and1 window still dirty ...you could see they had started to clean it but did a poor job. \ They were polite and respectful, introducing themselves and appropriately attired.
