Brightview Services

Their services were for a much smaller house. By the time we priced out our add on charges it was going to be way to expensive.

It was fine. We ordered the service then had to call to schedule the service which is when we found out that we would need to take out the screens ourselves & that the company does not clean windows with dividers in them. I think the service would be better if I was aware of that information prior to my credit card being charged. I'm hoping the refund process is a smooth one.

The deal turned out to only be for single-paned windows, so after purchasing and speaking with the provider, he could only have washed five of my windows without additional fees. I wanted him to give an estimate to take care of the whole house, which he didn?t want to provide until came out to do the job. It seemed like he was asking me to commit to having him clean all of my windows before knowing what the estimated cost would be. I did not feel the deal was clearly explained. I won?t be calling them again. I?ll be requesting a refund.

Missed some windows - even with the 'special offer' the cost was more than a prior service which did a better job. Note that we do live outside of SAT and there was a fuel charge. This was a single story home with high ceilings - they counted 38 windows and doors which amounted to about $6.00 per window. Many of the windows counted were pairs of double hung windows and about 10 of the windows are small 1'x1' single pane. We had to take the screens off and reinstall (after we washed the screens). 2 people were here less than 2 hours which is more than $60/hour - if you add 1.5 hr each for travel time the cost is still about $40/hour. Pretty good pay for a couple of men with a short ladder, bucket and squeegee.

Service was never provided! Everytime we tried to schedule the service, the company would come up with all sort of excuses for why they couldn't make it.

The company and the owner, Hector Sepulveda is extremely professional and excellent follow up. Because of various circumstances (mutually agreed) the appointment was rescheduled several times. On the day of work performed, it was over 100-degrees in full sunshine... not the best situation for a window service. Mr. Sepulveda and his associate called, but did arrive approximately one hour later than the latest arrival time specified (2pm actual when specified 11a-1p arrival). The work completed was very good, and the pressure washing was done as requested without damaging any of the exterior paint/stucco. I would definitely bid-to-hire Brightview Services for my window/pressure washing work in the future.

Tried to schedule this deal for March 2012 (due to heavy rain most of the "winter) - got rescheduled by company, then suddenly we ran out of time and the provider did not reply to further inquiries for a reschedule. I have email proof, he then claimed he did not have my coupon number for the reschedule [which I had given during the first scheduling ... so why would he need it again for the reschedule?] - Finally coupon "valid" date was past expiration, and company pointed to fine print and expiration. - I requested refund as it was not my error, and i made several and any attempts to schedule "in time". - Was referred to Angie's List for settlement "since I bought the deal from A.L, not the company"!. - THANKS to A.L. they still stand by their promise and I DID get my money back. - ** Bottom Line ** Would NOT do business with them [again], I can see they changed their "Deals" - and the reviews are mostly mediocre, and similar to my experience = always pointing to the "fine print", and possible overbooking during "deal times", which can have them not have enough time to honor coupons before they expire! - WOW. They don't learn?

Paid in advance thru Angie's list, took 5 appointments before they could complete job. Showed up late on july 5, I had given up on them when they finally called to say they were on the way. They did what I asked and it was a decent job. However it took from April to July to get it done. Not all their fault, but....

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went okay. It was adequate. i don;t know if I was expecting too much from them or what but it's the fact that I had to take all the screens out and on that deal, they only did so many windows which I hadn't counted on. I just paid the Big Deal price. It was a reasonable price. They had to cancel one time because of the weather but when they rescheduled it, they came right when they said they would. They knew what they were doing and went right to it.

They did a good job and were nice people.

The service went well. The scheduling was messed up on their end and they did not show up during the scheduled time slot. I called and spoke with the owner and he explained it was a computer error and showed up a couple of hours later. Of course, my windows were not the standard size so the cost was a bit higher. Screen removal and cleaning is also extra. Overall, they were quick and efficient.

We had set up 3 appointments that had to be rescheduled due to rain. The third time they tried to reschedule, I told them I'd have to call them back, but I forgot to. I called back recently to get a new appointment. My deal had expired 10 days previous, but I had tried several times to make appointments. They refused to honor the deal. I understand it was expired, but I would have appreciated a little more professionalism, as they were very rude to me. Since I had attempted to get an appointment 3 times, I expected the deal to be honored.

This appointment had to be rescheduled 3 times. Brightview was terrible about responding to my call. They would cancel the morning of the appointment and then we would reschedule. We did this 3 times. Once they did the work I had to remove the screens for them unless I wanted another charge. Really? I would not use them again.

Quick, courteous, prompt. Great experience.

Cleaner did an excellent job!

Arrived right on time. 2 people washed all windows ( 9 double hung, 3outside door windows, 4 bedroom sliders and 2 large slider front windows. Worked very quickly. Would use them again if the price is as good.

They used a detergent to remove hardened minerals to all windows of the house. Good job!

Never showed up

The job was done quickly and they cleaned up after themselves. I thought there would be an additional charge once they got here and saw the access but they stood by the original price. The add on for doing screens was fair.

I have used Brightview Windows in the past when Angie's List offerred a Big Deal. I was pleased with their service and did not hesitate purchasing another big deal when available. I wanted clean windows for a planned visit by relatives and scheduled my appointment well in advance. Unfortunately, Brightview had to reschedule twice for legitimate reasons, and my windows were not cleaned until after my relatives visit. Brightview is the only company I have had clean my windows so I have nothing to compare them to, but I especially like they always call first thing in the morning if they need to reschedule, they call if they are going to be late on the day of service, they cover their shoes when in the house, they get right to the job, and they do an excellent job on the windows. Even with the scheduling problems, I will use them again.

I had this done almost 2 years ago so I don't remember the details but I remember not being 100% happy with their job. I don't know if it was the windows that are old or if they did not do a good job but after they were done and gone, some of the windows still looked kind of dirty. But I have to say that the price was great and they were on time.

I was not pleased that they would not remove the screens when it took me one hand to remove them. Had they been screwed on, that would have been a different thing. They cleaned the windows fine, but they are still water spotted. I had hoped their cleaning would take care of at least some of the spots. They did not offer any further services, which I would have been glad to purchase because my husband was in the hospital at the time. Their appearance did not look professional, which I have come to expect from Angie's List people.

After reading the mixed reviews on how Brightview numbered the windows which qualified for the Big Deal (since windows come in all shapes and sizes), I was a bit hestitant to buy their services, but bought a Big Deal anyway. After they arrived, we walked around the house and confirmed which windows would count as "1" or "2" windows, etc. I took it upon myselt to take down the screens. I found Brightview to be very reasonable on how they counted windows and it did not cost extra than what I purchased on the Big Deal. They were very curtious, prompt and did a detailed job on cleaning the windows. I hired them again to perform the same job on my mom's windows.

They did a great job and their response time was very good. I did asked them to do two extra windows and I wrote them a check.
