Blinded by Delight

The owner, Cyndi Roberts, is a class act. She was prompt, professional, and incredibly helpful. The blinds look great, and the service and attention to detail is appreciated. I highly recommend!!

We were happy with the quality of the job. It was the owner who came out. We appreciated the personal attention when the job was scoped. We were satisfied with the blind selection and the fitting of the blinds. Everything fit exactly as we specified, so we were pleased.

This is the fourth time we have used Cyndi. We used her in our previous home for different window treatments. She has always been knowledgeable, professional and pleasant to work with. Called her just before we moved into our new home. She came over and we discussed several different types of window treatments. She knows her products. When a question arose about one, she called the company representative to get the right answer. Decided on blinds thoughtout the house. Blinds arrived in less than two weeks. Todd installed all the blinds and did a very good job. We are very happy with the results.

We noticed the detached slat on Friday evening, called Blinded by Delight on Saturday, and had the plantation shutter repaired by Tuesday afternoon.

We didn?t compare their price with anybody else. The lady we dealt with was very professional and she knew exactly what she was doing. She was great to work with. I liked her promptness and her knowledge of her product. I think I would have found something cheaper if I had looked around. I would probably use their services in the future too.

She really puts a lot of time in to finding out what you want and what works for you. She takes a lot of time getting to know you. She is there the whole time picking items out and giving you ideas. She obviously really knows what she is doing. She is very professional even through the installation to the windows. She is friendly.

Cindyl returned my inital call within an hour & scheduled an appointment for the next day to measure & quote blinds and shutters for my windows. I then when to one of the big "box" stores for their quote which turned out to be hundreds more than Cindys. She came back to the the house with color samples & we selected the color for the dining room. As I was in the process of remodeling the house, she suggested that we wait to measure & select color until the window seat in the bedroom was replaced and stained. Although the shutters would not be ready for from 6 to 8 weeks after ordering, I was pleased that she knew her business enough to give me good advise about the shutters. The blinds were installed in about 2 weeks and look wonderful. The installer just left after putting in the shutters and they are exactly the look I wanted for the master bedroom. I would recommend Blinded by Delight to anyone putting window treatments in their home or office.

Cyndi arrived at our home and educated us about the choices we had for a plantation shutter. She is knowlegable, professional and courteous. She really knows her business and is enthusiastic. She could instantly explain the differences in choices and elaborate about the process of their manufacture. Our experience was excellent!

This is my third time using Cindy at Blinded by delight. Home office Blinds, Dinning Room Blinds and now the master bedroom. Know what she is talking about and her installer has down a fantastic job on all three project. Looking to do the family room and the kitchen next.

It went very well overall. We thought Cindy was very personable and accessible. We did some comparison shopping and believe we found the best price with her (especially considering the excellent service that came with it!). We had absolutely no problems with the installation before or since (has been 4 months now and not a single issue). I would recommend her (and have!) without hesitation.

The process went very, very well. Cyndi was professional in every way and knew all the pros and cons of her product offerings. The product I purchased had a rebate, for which she prepared the documentation and then sent it me with in a stamped envelope for mail in. She even enclosed information about how to obtain the tax credit available for this product. She exceeded my expectations in every way. I have already referred her to a friend.

After checking with Angie's List, we called B.B.D. They showed up punctually at the agreed upon time at our home. They had a number of samples and options. They were professional and very knowledgeable. There was no pressure selling and they were most helpful in explaining a number of products. We decided on the choices, price and delivery time. They drew up the contract and followed through. Installation was excellent. Very professional all the way through.

I am very happy with the results. The blinds look great and the heat issue in the bedrooms is almost gone. Thanks, Cyndi!

When I decided to replace all my blinds I had no idea where to start. There are so many options, prices, companies that it can be very difficult to get started. I started out by consulting Angies List and one company stood out right away. Blinded by Delight had many positive reviews so I gave Cynthia Roberts a call and we scheduled a meeting for the next day. She was punctual, cordial, and extremely knowledgeable about window treatments. Cyndi was very patient in assisting me with my choices based on our family needs. She had many recommendations that were both practical and appealing and she helped me choose just the right blinds for our windows. With the hot 100* Texas sun beating down every day we decided on the Duette Blackout shades. In less than 10 days they were measured, ordered and installed and they are simply amazing! The afternoon after my blinds were installed Cyndi called to make sure everything went smoothly and to see if I needed anything. My old blinds were removed and 10 new lovely Blackout blinds replaced them in about two hours. Six of my new blinds are very large and I am so pleased how nice they look. Also for the first time in many years I was able to enjoy my evening meal without the blinding setting sun. Cyndi made this home improvement project go very smoothly and you can bet when I need other window treatments she will be the first one I call! Thanks Cyndi! And thanks Angie's List!

I had previously shopped elsewhere. Cynthia ordered the same Hunter Douglas blinds and had them installed for $400 LESS than the other store. I would use her again....and probably will soon. It is a real pleasure to recommend her WITHOUT HESITATION!

Cynthia Roberts installed them for us and they came out really pretty. They worked great until about a month ago when one of the blinds was not functioning well. I called her and she came out the next day. She took the blinds down to send them back to the company and she replaced them with a paper window shade. When it was repaired she sent them through a guy who hung it and it has worked perfect.

We were DELIGHTED with Blinded by Delight from start to finish! I called this company after seeing all the excellent reports on Angie's List. The owner, Cyndi Roberts, and I talked over the phone, I told her what we had in mind, and we set an appointment for Friday. She was on time, brought several shutter samples and color samples, and she looked carefully at the shutters we had in our other rooms, noting the finish, color, quality, right down to the hinges! She mentioned three companies that could be used and an approximate cost on each. She said the company whose product would best match our existing shutters was actually the least expensive of the three. I was concerned, though, because I did not want to buy from a Chinese company and have to worry about lead paint. She said she knew the company used a water-based paint and that they had a manufacturing plant in California if I wished to pay more for the USA product. She said she would do more research on their overseas plant and get back to me with the info. Sure enough on Monday AM Cyndi had all the info! The overseas plant was actually in Taiwan (which I had no problem with) and the paint comes from Brazil and has NO lead: Problem solved! We set an appt for Wed with the installer she thought could best handle the specialty job of removing trim work, as the chair rail trim actually went from our wall into the window frame. On her first visit, Cyndi had figured how the trim could be removed and the width of the shutter framing that needed to be used in order to cover any damage done in the removal.) Again, Cyndi was on time with Robert, her installer. They explained exactly what was to be done; both were very knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. Cyndi said it would take 8-10 weeks for the shutters to arrive and we signed a contract. Sure enough, Cyndi called, the shutters came in, we set an appt for Robert to install; and here we we sit exactly two months & 1 day later looking at beautiful wooden shutters in our dining room! (Robert showed up on time yesterday morning, was polite, went right to work, and was a pleasure to have in our home; his work was top quality, he finished quicker than anyone thought possible, and he left the dining room as clean as when he arrived!) As a final note, my husband and I usually dread having work done in our home, but from our first meeting with Cyndi to Robert's quality installation, and Cyndi's follow-up call making sure everything was exactly right and that we were satisfied, this job was truly a DELIGHT, a five-star, a ten out of ten!

Very well. Being new to San Antonio and needing to furnish and cover the entire house where covering is necessary due to the proximity of the surrounding homes, we chose Blinded by Delight. Cyndi was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time not only helping design, but considering options for the various rooms. She worked with us on pricing of the blinds. On the window treatments, we wound up with some really stellar looks while keeping a relaxed and subdued style throughout. She was able to match fabrics and add according to accomplish just the right look. We even had a lampshade refinished. When the fabric of some of the treatments wound up looking pinkish rather than copper due to the lighting, she was very accommodating. In addition, given the number of treatments we had made pretty much from concept drawings, some needed adjusting once hung, which she accommodated as well. She also has a great seamstress that does wonderful work.

They came out in fall and gave me some quotes. A few months later I decided to do the project,so came back out and showed me more selections and a new quote. They were using more manufacturers and had more options an d reasonable pricing. They came out and measured the windows. After choosing my selection, they came out and installed the shutters. The owner called and made sure I was pleased with the finished project.

Less than a week later we were contacted by the installer and arranged for installation. The installer Todd arrived on time, removed the old blinds & installed the new ones quickly without a hitch. After installation we noted the blinds used in the valances were not straight in the rounded corners. Cyndi came, agreed that it was a problem. She offered do do what ever was needed to correct the problem which turned out to require replacement of all of the draw mechanisms with longer ones to accommodate square corners. She reordered the the new size and corners and Todd came back to replace them at no additional cost to us. In my opinion, the fact that a company will correct a situation like this is extremely appreciated and unfortunately not as common in the business world today as it should be. Suffice to say that we are very satisfied with the final result and highly recommend "Blinded by Delight".
