Blinded by Delight

Cyndi Roberts, owner of Blinded by Delight, is a great provider as well as an outstanding consultant. She visited our house several times prior to our purchase to help us with the product selection. Our windows posed a big challenge that other companies could not find practical solutions for. After my initial contact, Cyndi called back right away and we set up an appointment. She arrived on time and enthusiastically provided us with a spectrum of possibilities. It impressed me that she had brought lots of materials for us to look at, and she tirelessly carried materials into the house to help us find what we wanted. She greatly helped with the product and color selection- I could not have achieved this without her advice and guidance ! We are extremely happy with all of our new shades, the window shutter, and the fabulous looking complete make over of the bedroom to include a cornice, bedspread and pillows. I appreciated Cyndi's punctuality, her enthusiasm, her great sense of style and practicality, and her budget sense . We selected high quality triple cell honeycombs shades, a nice wooden shutter, and designer fabric for the make over in the bedroom - and we got the entire house taken care of. We're very pleased with her. She called my wife several times, what happened was we installed them and she just ordered them but she just called, followed up, make sure that we received them and that we were extremely happy with them.

Cyndi is wonderful to work with and the finished job was terrific. The shutters had to come from overseas, so there was some wait, but the wait was well worth it. The measurer and installer were both top-notch professionals. Cyndi carefully led us through the color and style selection process and gave us much needed decorating advice. We highly recommend her and we have already placed an order to install plantation shutters throughout the rest of the house.

She was very pleasant, very professional, and took accurate measurements. In addition, her installer did good work, cleaned up after himself, and knew what he was doing. Ultimately, the blinds look great, and I'm quite happy with the service.

They're very friendly and they give good information. My husband is 86 and I have a disability so it was nice to have a company that would do everything such as bring everything in for us to look at, give us advice and work with us so it's been really nice dealing with them. Yesterday I got a bunch of stuff hung up, it went quickly and it was done neatly and it was a great job. I ordered some more. It costed me about $5000. I have a great room with floor to ceiling windows and they got that all covered and then the front entry way and the back entry way and one of the bedrooms.

We looked on Angie's list for recommendations for Plantation shutters and found several locations and providers. We visited 2 showrooms and called Cindy at Blinded By Delight--she didn't have a showroom at the time, but has since opened one. Cindy came out to view the job we wanted and brought several options for us to choose from. Her price and promise of quick delivery and service made us choose her to provide our shutters. She told us it might take 4 weeks, but it only took 3 and her installer came out to install the shutters last week. We are very happy with the shutters and the responsiveness and care we received. The shutters made our room look so much better and updated our home. We would definitely recommend Blinded by Delight to anyone and if we needed other window treatments, would definitely choose to work with Cindy and her crew again.

Cyndi was great! She was quick to contact me and set up and initial appointment to come to the house. She took measurements and listened to what I wanted and made suggestions on styles and colors. She did all the shopping then came back with samples for me to pick out. After I made the choices she bought all the treatments and rods, had the tailoring done for those that needed sewing, and brought her install guy (sorry I forgot his name) out on a Saturday morning to install everything. I had my study, second bedroom, kitchen, dining area, living room, master bedroom and master bath all installed in about 2 hrs and the fit and look was perfect. It was better than I had expected. Cyndi really cared about every detail and wanted everything to be exactly as I wanted. She exceeded my expectations!

Wonderful service from start to finish. We were on a tight timeline. Cindy was prompt, professional and very imformative. With just a few questions she was able to help up pick out the perfect shades. The quality of the shades is very good. We definitely would use her again and can highly recommend her.

I had some issues with a very strong afternoon sun coming in my kitchen and was expecting company within a few weeks. I really wanted to get the new blinds installed before my company arrived. Ms. Roberts went above and beyond to make it happen, that's what I call GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Blinds arrived and installed in time and without any issues. They look great, thank you so much!!

Cyndi came out herself, was a great help in picking options that would do what I wanted. It didn't take long before my shades were installed and I absolutely love them. they do exactly what /i had wanted in each room. She also stayed within my budget and did not try to get me to spend more.

Cyndi was a help every time I called her. She helped us decide the type & style of shutters & trim needed. We did our bathroom first & were so pleased we decided do the Master Bedroom. Cyndi again was helpful in the process of design , getting the order & measurements done quickly. When the shutters arrived & we were concerned with some minor installation , she immediately had the installers boss out to help. He made the adjustments & we are very pleased. Cyndi always called me right back, took care of any questions, & was a delight to work with. We intend to use her when we order plantation shutters in the future. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

Cynthia got back to me shortly after I left a message for her. She set up a date for the following week. She arrived on time and was well prepared to show us all our options. She is knowledgeable and very professional. She made several suggestions, which we went with. The installer came this morning, arrived when he said he would, and quickly set to work putting up the new blinds. He ran into a problem, but thought about it a minute or so, and completed the job in short order. He cleaned up after himself, and took away the old blinds, so we didn't have to deal with them. He did a super job. We love the look, and agree completely with Cynthia's suggestions. They look wonderful!

The initial consult visit was set up quickly. Cyndi met me at my house on a Saturday to view the 2 windows I wanted to make shades for. She helped me decide what exactly I needed. I already had the fabric, and her seamstress made 2 custom window treatments--a flat roman shade and a valance. Both look great. Cyndi is very nice and you can tell she has a lot of experience in the field. The turn-around time was quick, about 4-5 weeks from when we first met. Her installer came to install the shades at my convenience after I got off work. And Cyndi followed up by phone the next day to make sure I was pleased. Great experience, would definitely use Cyndi and Blinded By Delight again!

The whole experience was amazing. Communication by phone and email was great. The quote for so many different sized windows for so many different rooms couldn't have been more clear. From agreeing to the quote, to installation, it took about 7 business days when they said that it could be about 2 weeks. And it was all installed in one afternoon. It's amazing how much better our aging office looks just by replacing the blinds.

Fantastic. The window treatments were delivered today, the installer was in and out in less than an hour. Very efficient and professional. The windows look great, added an element of elegance to my room. Will use Cindy and her team again!

She is Delight-ful to work with, has excellent customer service, high quality products and excellent warrantee for her work. We recently had to call her about one of the blinds that is malfunctioning. Even though it is five years later, she came by quickly, cheerfully removed it and has taken it off for warrantee repair. We will absolutely use Cyndi's company again for additional window coverings in this house and when we move again we will be calling her to measure the new windows before we even call to turn on the electricity and water.

From beginning to end, the owner of Blinded by Delight, Cyndi Roberts, was attentive, professional, knowledgeable and thorough. The company's fees for the same product and services were more than competitive, and the person who does the installation for the company, Todd, was the epitome of professionalism and workmanship. The blinds were not cheap--I knew that when I decided to buy them. Blinded By Delight has less expensive alternatives, but I decided to go with these. I think it helps, when one spends a lot of money on a home improvement, to feel that the money was well invested. I certainly feel so I this case.

Blinded by Delight was a wonderful company to work with! We added a new addition on to our home and had many rooms/ windows to cover. The owner, Cyndi, was very responsive and setup an appointment to review our needs ASAP. She had an estimate back to me within a few hours and worked up several options/estimates at my request. Upon order placement, our window treatments were installed and the job finished in less than 2 weeks! Definitely recommend Blinded by Delight and will be using them again in the future.

Cyndi Roberts was very personable and professional. She provided great recommendations along with a price point and installation schedule which exceeded my expectations. Todd, the installer, promptly arrived as scheduled, efficiently removed the old blinds and installed the new ones. He was courteous and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. Overall, I am very satisfied with Blinded by Delight. Cyndi and her staff provided excellent service and I highly recommend them.

I wanted some shutters for my curved, bay window in my kitchen area, but knew it would be a difficult window to fit. Cyndi and Mary came out very soon after I contacted them to look at the window and take measurements. I had a couple of other companies give me bids, but didn't get nearly the professionalism and variety of products from them that was offered by Blinded by Delight. Cyndi went over every aspect of the work to be done, and was very knowledgeable about her products. The manufacturer made a measuring mistake and her installer, Stanley noticed it right away and let her know. Cyndi was very prompt with her reassurance that it would be redone correctly and it was. I can't say enough nice things about Cyndi, Mary and the installer Stanley- they were just wonderful to work with and I love the way the shutters look.

Looked up window coverings on Angie's list after unsuccessfully looking for a buisness to help me cover the new windows from an addition we just completed on our home. I immediately called Blinded by Delight upon seeing the reviews. Cyndi returned by call immediately. She came to my house to hear my needs and wants and helped me make some decisions. I really wanted shutters and a couple of roman shades, but was unsure if the shutters would be affordable. She priced it out, and realized the shutters would be covered in the budget. Although I had only 6 windows to cover she treated me as though I had a whole house to cover. She was completely tentative and interested in what end result I wanted. I absolutely love the results. The windows make the room look beautifully finished. I definitely plan to upgrade the rest of my home to shutters in the future and will absolutely go to Cyndi.
