Blinded by Delight

Blinded by Delight had everything I was looking for with improvements to my window coverings. They listened to what I wanted and were helpful in guiding on style and colors for each room. If they were running late on the appointment times, they were very good about calling regarding the delay or to reschedule the appointment. The living room drapes were wrinkled when installed but Cyndi came out to steam the drapes within the week.

We were getting estimates from various providers recommended on Angie's List for 6 blinds in various rooms of the house. Cyndi and Denis showed up on time and quickly got to work taking measurements, which I appreciated after spending two hours with the previous vendor (ugh!). Once measurements were taken Cyndi quickly came up with the base bid to replace our blinds with a similar Hunter Douglas product and then we discussed options for various upgrades. Throughout the discussion, I never felt that I was receiving a sales pitch and they were very knowledgeable and confident and about their product; which sells itself. In the end, we got a price that was lower than the competitors and didn't take up a lot of my valuable time. Sold! The blinds came in as scheduled and an installer contacted us immediately for a date. Again, the installer showed up on time, was professional, did quality work and was completed in no time. Throughout the process, we were kept informed and checked up on after the install. Bottom line: While other competitors sell the same Hunter Douglas product, Cyndi, Denis and Kathleen got our business because of their price (lowest), efficiency (won't eat up your entire afternoon trying to sell you something you didn't want) and how they operate as a team, each playing their roles to perfection.

The owner came out and measured 13 windows for blinds. We have used her before, so we know her service is excellent. She ordered new blinds and had them in under two weeks. Her installer came out and installed all blinds. Just as before, he was professional, friendly, and very good at installation. He also installed two blinds for doors that I had purchased at the owner's request to save a little money. The blinds all fit exactly as they should and look very good. I will use the company again anytime I need blinds of any type installed. Their prices are very good and their service is excellent. I highly recommend Blinded by Delight.

She did a great job and was not high pressure. She just pointed out our options and was very knowledgeable. She came out to measure the windows and then sent out another guy to hang the blinds up. The gentleman who came out was very professional, efficient and installed the blinds properly. We are happy with the outcome of the service to this day. Scheduling was not an issue.

Hiring Cyndi and her staff was a really good decision. They are very knowledgeable about their business, with lots of experience. We had an idea of what we wanted and they helped us in making the selection. Cyndi and Dennis offered advice and ideas, not being pushy, but giving us a lot of options. They weren't trying to get us to select the most expensive shades, just helped us find what we wanted. Our order was taken care of very promptly. The installer did a good job. Follow-up was nice - phone call and thank you note. They also filled out the form for us to get the rebate - very nice touch. Overall, it was a good experience. This is a professional business operation all the way through. I highly recommend them.

Cyndi is a delight to work with. She is very friendly and knowledgeable about her business. She made suggestions that I liked, and she even recommended someone to re-paint a faux painted wall I didn't like the color of. After she returned to her office she sent me photos of faux walls in her office with the colors we had discussed. The blinds were exactly what I wanted, and I couldn't be happier with them. Todd was great too, and did a wonderful job.

Cyndi came and measured for price quoting, gave me some good options and then sent the installer for a final measurement. The shutters arrived exactly six weeks later and were installed at a time that was convenient for me. It went quickly and cleanly and the shutters are great!

We found Cyndi Roberts to be knowledgeable, innovative, flexible, energetic, communicative, personable and offering reasonable prices. In the family room, draperies were provided by another company and we did not like the look. Rather than try to sell us new draperies, Cyndi suggested re-working the current drapes which solved our problem at a fraction of the cost. In the master bedroom, Cyndi suggested steaming and softening the rather formal pleats. This simple "fix" improved the looks of the drapes, and the room, tremendously. Overall, she changed the ordinary to the "WOW"!

Went flawlessly. I knew what I wanted by she guided me on which windows needed shutters and which we could go without and details about the blinds. I got another bid and it came in 4k higher AND the owner of the company wasn't guiding me properly on the details....I could tell. Glad I'm an angies list member or I wouldn't have found Blinded By Delight.

Our coordinator, Cindy Roberts, was just terrific! Her personality and professionalism was top notch. We wanted her to install a shutter similar to the ones we had in other rooms. She assessed our needs and recommended a less expensive product. After the install, it works much better than what we thought we wanted. To me, that's real professionalism.

I’m very happy with the way she did the job. I like that she came to my house and did the measurements. She had a good selection of products. The guy that came to install everything was very quick and efficient. I just like the overall of what we got and what we paid for. I think it was worth it. I already knew what I wanted and so she just pulled all those things out and showed me what the options were.

Installation went smooth. No problems since. Ms. Roberts gave me a follow-up call to see if I was happy with the purchase. I love it all and my new house looks great! I would HIGHLY recommend Ms. Cyndi Roberts for your blind or window covering needs. Her company has also started providing courses on Thursday nights to help understand what all goes into design and decorating. I just learned about colors last week and this week it's feng shui. We're very happy with how it turned out.

Cyndi and Tamera both visited our home on more than one occasion during the decision-making process to discuss pricing and options for our project. Comparatively, their pricing was wonderful, and considering the expanse of our job, it was great for us to have them do the work. Their installers did professional, quality work. They willingly worked around our schedules and aside from the lengthy time it took to have the drapes sewn (which should be expected), the timing was great. They showed amazing patience and professionalism and we will certainly have them return in 2014 to help us with our continued home improvements.

She was very responsive, and was able to get to the house in just a couple days to take measurements. She also showed me that a third blind wasn't actually broken but had just slipped a string, and demonstrated how to fix it. The new blinds had been ordered and installed in less than ten days. Even though this was a small job, she acted like she wanted my business and was both friendly and professional. If I ever have a larger window treatment project in the future, I'm going straight to this business to do the work. It was a pleasure to deal with her from first to last!

I replaced window coverings with Hunter Douglas shutters. The experience was great. Working with Cynthia and her team was a wonderful experience. It was like working with family to figure out what to do with my windows. Their showroom on Heimer is very well put together and their friendliness and professionalism can't be beat. The installer also did a great job removing the old drapes and blinds, then installing the new ones with expertise. I will use Blinded by Delight again when I replace the other window coverings in my home.

Cindy worked very hard to match the trim of the existing shutters and kept me informed about the delivery date.

Buying a new home and the stress of moving in were made much easier with Cindy's help. Our home was in need of coverings for every window and Cindy stepped me through the process and we are very please with the results. She truly cares that the customer's needs are met and goes above and beyond to meet that goal. For example, we moved in shortly before Thanksgiving and had relatives coming, Cindy made sure we had blinds installed before our family arrived. She is also very prompt in responding to phone calls and makes it a priority to get back with you as quickly as possible. I would not hesitate to use Cindy again or refer her to others.
