Blinded by Delight

The company came out on appointment, measured two large windows and three smaller windows. Shutters were ordered. When they arrifved, they were installed by Frank, a great installer. He returned later and repainted some caulking. the shutters look very nice, great job.

It went very well. I was very pleased with how it looked.

I called and Katherine answered the phone. Katherine was friendly, very knowledgable and therally asked questions to figure out exactly what I'd like. Cindy then came out and had all her examples, catalogs and pictures of the blinds to choose from. After I told and showed her my pictures of what I'd like she made a recommendation of wood shutters. I was a novice when It came to indoor plantation shutter but she made sure I was able to pick out size, color, and quality. She even invited me to her show floor so I could get a good idea of what it would look like. She even loaned me slaps to take home so that I may compare colors. She quoted an estimated delivery and installation time. However, the shutters came in much quicker. After installation I noticed the color for the upstair shutters were not right. I called Cindy and she immediately research the situation. She came to my my home just to tell me there was a mistake and that it would get fixed without any extra cost to me! That is exactly what happened! My shutters are so beautiful and Cindy recommendation were right on! My only regret is that I took so long to give her a review. She may not be the cheapest but you will get prompt, knowledgeable, professional services. You will get a fair price for the products received. If you are in the market for indoor plantation shutters give them a call. You will not be disappointed!

!There are several workers on Cyndi's team. From measuring to installing, everybody was punctual and did an excellent job. The install was amazing. Very precise attention to detail. I will say that although expensive, the shutters changed the look of the house like nothing else! Inside and out, they are my favorite feature of the house. The practicality of shutters over blinds cannot be overstated. Much easier to clean also. The shutters come with a frame that also makes the inside of the home look much more "finished". Easily opened and closed, they are very functional. Each shutter is hinged, making opening and closing and cleaning windows a breeze. We have "black out blinds" in the upstairs bedrooms that we didn't want to remove, so Cyndi had her team come and move the blinds back just a bit to accommodate the blinds, now we have the best of both worlds. When our black out blinds are raised, you can't see them inside or out because they're hidden by the top frame of the shutter. It is really a sweet set up. Another note: we had our windows cleaned in anticipation of the shutter install. We also permanently removed our dirty bug screens, which we never used anyway. The makeover of the home is amazing with these shutters. From a business perspective, Cyndi is all about communication, she and her team return phone calls right away, and you're never in doubt that you're dealing with a character led organization. They are there to please. If you think shutters are expensive, take my word for it, your house is just a sealed box without windows, and with quality shutters you will have more light and be in a better mood because it takes just seconds to open your shutters instead of dealing with your nasty, dusty mini blinds. Yuck! I'll never have a house with blinds again. For privacy at night, it takes just seconds to flip all the blinds closed. Cyndi followed up with a nice thank you card, so you know she gets the customer service business. An overall A+++++++++ experience

They did an outstanding job. They were really punctual, took care of everything and did a great job. Their installer was really excellent. They came out the next day and measured and it was great.

I moved into a new house that came with faux wood blinds on the windows with exception of feature windows. My dining room faces west with windows that have two separate curved windows up high. Knowing I needed to protect art, furniture, rugs, etc, I looked at catalogs and stores a while, and found Blinded by Delight on Angie's List. Cyndi Roberts, the owner, came to the house (quiet a drive from her showroom) and went through a number of options with her portfolio. In the end, I decided to do lined drapes from floor to above the top windows. She brought fabric books, traverse rods, everything to the house, and took care of all the measuring, calculating, and ordering. Cyndi's work really took the load off my shoulders on getting this done. She said it would take about six weeks, and in exactly six weeks Cyndi and crew had them hung. I'm pretty good at imagining how something will look, but the drapes stunned even me. The dining room now has "wow." Now, I'm having Blinded by Delight do the master bedroom which also has the high arched windows. Cyndi is great to work with and I would not hesitate to recommend her.

I liked the product. I had those things before in the apartment that I was living in, and I thought they were trash, but he talked me into it. A woman came to do the measurements and a guy came to install them, and they were both good. The quality is good, and the mechanism for it to open and close is good.

I contacted Blinded by Delight to order a set of blinds for our garage. We had previously ordered blinds through another company but the blinds were delivered damaged, twice. I worked with Denis who was very responsive. The blinds arrived a week earlier than we anticipated and were installed on a day/time that was convenient for me. The entire process was effortless; I would certainly recommend Blinded by Delight.

Cyndi Roberts, the owner, worked around my shedule regarding our initial meeting and meeting to measure the windows. She had excellent ideas regarding the type of window treatments that would work best. She also had a large variety of products to choose from. The products came in exactly on time and were installed swiftly.

I made an appointment at their showroom on Heimer Road. Denis was wonderful. I was not sure if I wanted plantation shutters or just wanted to replace a very large blind in my formal dining room. Denis went over everything in detail. He showed me the different shutters available, discussed blinds and was very patient with all my questions. I told him I still wasn't sure, but would like to see prices for both. He said he would do an estimate for everything and email it to me. I had the estimate in a couple of hours with everything itemized. I called him and told him I wanted to go with the blind at this time. He made an appointment to come to my house and take measurements. He was on time and very professional, but still very pleasant to work with. He knew we were having company in a couple of weeks and wanted everything in place before they arrived. He said he could do that. True to his word, the installer called on Oct 1 and said blind was ready to be installed. He came right over and put it up. Love it. We already have blinds in our kitchen and family room similar to this one, but this has the "delight" feature. It's made so you can pull the slats out to clean and also provides more privacy. Seriously thinking about having all of them replaced. Love it. So glad Denis showed this to me.

Cyndi and her assistant came out on time with plenty of options to view. Because we have 9 windows in our room, we decided to first try solar screens to see how much direct sun would be filtered out. We most likely will be looking at additional options in the spring and will be having Cyndi and her company back out to do further window treatments. They came out quickly to measure for the screens and the screens were installed in less than a week after ordering them. Cyndi has a very professional and friendly manner as well as her crew. I would feel very trusting to refer her to others. There are no hard sales tactics which I feel is very important.

The whole process was excellent. Measured on one day and ordered the materials. Installed the items as they arrived, as requested. All fit perfectly and look great. Highly satisfied. Would definitely recommend.

They worked within my budget and had the blinds installed within a matter of days. The attention they gave me along with the quality of product will keep me as a repeat customer.

Cyndi and Denis came out on time, listened to our explanation of what we were looking for, showed us samples, explained what products would satisfy our needs. We decided to have only one room done first and arranged that purchase. We did indicate that we would probably soon do the other room. After Cyndi and Denis left we decided to go ahead with the other room. We called them back and Denis came back the next day and we arranged the purchase on the other room product. When the products arrived at their office, their installer picked them up, brought them out to our house and installed them perfectly in next to no time! A few days later we had some more questions regarding the products and Denis came out, discussed our questions, and did not quit until things were right in our minds. We are extremely happy with the products and with the dealings we had with Blinded by Delight!

We are very happy with the service from Blinded by Delight. We received several bids for shutters and were impressed with the way that Cyndi and Denis educated us about our options and communicated with us throughout the process. Cyndi and Denis came to our home to discuss the options and measure; they gave us quotes in a timely manner; and then returned to finalize the order once we had made our decision. A minor miscommunication about the bid and a possible additional part needed that might raise the price was resolved in a timely manner. The installer also came to do a final measure and the shutters were ordered. They arrived before they were expected to and installed promptly. There was a small error in installation on one of the windows, which I addressed with Cyndi once I realized it after the installer left. She was quick to contact the installer and he was prompt in returning to reinstall/adjust the shutter. We are quite pleased with the look of the shutters and the excellent service and communication we received from Cyndi and her team!

Cyndi and Denis were very efficient and professional in the selection process...no hard pressure tactics. Todd did an outstanding job of installation. We would definitely recommend them to anyone who Is looking for window coverings of any kind.

Blinded by Delight is a great business! Everything went smoothly form the first meeting to the installation. I love my wooden blinds! I also ordered custom drapes for 2 sets of patio doors. Since those take longer, I will review the drapes later. Highly recommend this business for window treatments!

Cyndi and Denis met with us in our our newly constructed home and assisted us in choosing treatments for many of the windows. They were very knowledgeable and professional and helped us choose the best options to fit our budget without making us feel pressured. The temporary window shades were also a nice touch, allowing for privacy while we waited the brief period for our custom items to me manufactured and shipped. The installation was performed quickly and professionally and all the products were first rate. The few minor discrepancies we encountered were corrected promptly and I always felt like I was valued as a customer. I have never been through this particular process with any other company before but if you want a job done well at a fair price and superior customer service is important to you then I would highly recommend "Blinded by Delight." We will certainly come back to them again in the future to have the remainder of our windows done.

We recently purchased a home with old blinds that had seen better days. We were not sure what we wanted but after visiting Cindy's showroom and discussing our needs with her we were able to come to a better understanding of what would work for us. Cindy then visited our home and made suggestions, including some that were less expensive that what we were initially looking for and gave us info on the energy efficiency of different types. She also measured and said they could move two of the older blinds in the bedroom (that were to be replaced) into the family room to replace two that were stained. We now have 5 new blinds in guest rooms and Master Bedroom, white plantation shutters in the Breakfast nook and they switched out the two damaged blinds free of charge! We had Cindy measure out the other windows in the home and got estimates so we can proceed with them at a later date. Cindy and her staff are very knowledgeable, pleasant and work with you to get quality products you can enjoy. They don't try to pressure you into buying pricier items or more items than you planned on, which we really appreciated.

The blinds were delivered ahead of time. After I ordered I changed my mind the next day and this was not a problem. Installer slightly scratched paint off on inside of window. The quality of the blinds is certainly not what they use to be. The chords are very lightweight that the manufacturer uses which is Graber. The staff is very courteous and friendly and tries to please.

Great customer service, knowledgeable, prompt, fast completion. From my first call to Blinded by Delight, to installation of our new shades, this was an excellent experience.
