Blinded by Delight

I love my plantation shutters!!! Blinded by Delight did an excellent job in helping me select the shutters. The installation was professional and the results were so satisfying. I had the shutters installed in my 3 bedrooms and the master bath. (A total of 6 windows) I will definitely contact them again when I am ready to install the shutters in my kitchen, living room and dining room.

It went very good and I was pleased. I would recommend them to anybody. They were very professional and very neat. They were professional which I very much appreciated.

Cyndi is very responsive. She showed up promptly to provide an estimate. We also met her at her showroom to look at more samples before making a final decision. Her installers are courteous and fast. Everyone I have dealt with has been very professional.

Cyndi came out to measure and help us choose the best blinds for our decor. We thought we wanted real wood, but she informed us that the humidity wouldn't be good, as we like to open our windows. So we chose the faux wood and are very happy with the blinds!

Everything went perfect! Not one glitch occurred. The girls and guys at Blinded By Delight are very knowledgeable and have common sense which is what I did not find with other people who I got quotes from.

Cyndi showed up on time. Provided me the quote within a day. I was so amazed at the price I asked that they put my request in for blinds. The blinds were completed and installed in by Keith within a 10 day period. Blinded by Delight is knowledgable in the latest trends, textures, and really listen to the client and their budget. Constant communication so I never wondered what was going to happen next. I recommend Blinded by Delight continuously and would highly recommend giving them a call. Ask for a quote and let them show you what they are made of, you won't be disappointed. I have used them twice and both times I received outstanding service!

When the Shutters came in they were installed professionally and cleanly. One came in not correctly and it was taken care of immediately no worries and they called me when it came and they came right out to reinstall. We decided to order some other windows that we chosen not to do. Again everything worked as promised. I would highly recommend them and will use them again.

They were professional, expedient, friendly, thoughtful, and when I did have a problem with one of the blinds( multiple times) they responded quickly and did everything to resolve the issue. I would recommend them to anyone.

EXCELLENT! Cyndi came up with the perfect product for us & it looks great! She had (years ago) installed beautiful plantation shutters at our previous home...once again, we found her to be Professional, Competent, Quick, & Fun, too!

They were wonderful! From the consultants who helped us choose the right shutters to the installers, they were very professional.

Denis Rimkus (Director of Sales) came and measured all blinds. She is delightful and professional. She was on time and explained process. I have used this company before so I knew their service would be great. The blinds came in approximately 2 weeks and the installer called and immediately came over and put them in. He was also fast and efficient. There was a problem with the length on one blind and the valance on that blind and one other. The installer said he would go right back to the office and explain it to Cyndi Roberts (Owner) which he did. She immediately called me and she set up an appt for her and Denise to come back out. They both came out, checked the problem and said both valances and the blind would be reordered. I also had some questions on the blinds and they immediately answered them. What I really find great about this company is that they keep you informed. They called every few days to let me know the status of the blinds and approximate delivery. As soon as they came in, they were installed. I never had to call them to check on status. I will use them again and highly recommend them.

We selected Blinded by Delight based upon their Angie's List reputation. They have a nicely stocked show room with quality offerings. Julie assisted us with item and color selection. She and the owner visited our home and measured for the installations. About three weeks later Todd(?) made the installation. He was quick, efficient, and definitely knows the business. All involved were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Cindy came to our home with lots of samples of fabrics, she listened to what I wanted, and made suggestions.She helped me also by narrowing the books of fabrics for me to look at based on what I told her. The valances are beautifully sewn and they were professionally installed. They look great, and I am very happy with the services I received. I found this company on Angie's list initially.

Cindy was great to work with. Good communication and helpful. Todd, installer, was very friendly and did a good job.

Their response was prompt and courteous. We appreciated that they didn't pressure us into signing the contract right away. We had a plenty of time to think over. We are very happy with their quality products.

I contacted Blinded by Delight about possibly replacing several large wood blinds because they no longer "tilted". Rather than trying to sell me new blinds they offered to see if my blinds could be repaired. They contacted Hunter Douglas on my behalf and learned the mechanisms could be repaired. Once repaired, an installer came and put them back up. I was pleased and impressed with the integrity of service and the investigation done on a job that resulted in minimal income compared to the sale of new blinds. Cindy, the owner, called several times to provide status updates and also called upon completion to inquire about my satisfaction. I am very happy with the outcome! I would absolutely recommend this business and without a doubt will contact Blinded by Delight when it is time to replace my blinds. The staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions. The blinds were completed ahead of schedule and beautifully installed. They even brought me some spare clips to repair some existing blinds in our bedroom.

From start to finish my experience working with Cyndi, and her team at Blinded by Delight was wonderful. I got several estimates and narrowed my choices down to two companies. Cyndi was punctual on her initial visit to measure, courteous, and worked hard to get me the best price. She also answered all my questions about the products warranty, thus I felt confident in choosing them. My shutters arrived before the estimated arrival date. The installer called me to let me know they were in and to schedule an install date. I had to reschedule this date twice because the remodeling at my house was not ready for the shutter installation. My installer, Karl, was always polite and accomidating. When the day finally came for them to be installed Karl called me to let me know he was going to be about 10 minutes late??and he was only 10 minutes late!! He arrived and got right to work. He set up his work area neatly, unpacked neatly, installed all the shutters (neatly and perfectly), cleaned up his outside workspace, and did it all in a timely fashion. He found a small pea sized paint blob spot fix on a frame section, took a picture of it, and sent it in so they will be sending a new piece out for him to replace that piece. Truthfully, I am not sure I would have even noticed it, but he did and because it wasn't perfect?..took the initiative and took care of it. This is the" pride in your work" that is missing in so many employees and companies these days. Later in the day I got a call from Kathleen in their office to make sure the shutter installation went well and that I was happy. The shutters make my windows look finished and perfect! I am very happy and would recommend Blinded by Delight to everyone!

Blinds are beautiful. Service was great and the blinds were custom made fast. Within two weeks my windows looked fantastic. This company is professional and fast and their blinds are well worth it.

This is the second time we've used Blinded by Delight. We are extremely pleased with their promptness, professionalism and finished products! Will definitely use them again!

Cyndi came to my home with a trunk load of samples. She listened to what I was looking for, asked questions and offered advice and options. She walked me through the least expensive and most expensive options and helped me find exactly what I wanted in the price range I was able to spend. While all samples were available, Cyndi limited what we looked at so I did not feel overwhelmed. After I decided, Cyndi performed acrobats to measure my windows, calculated the cost and explained all of the charges. When my order arrived I was charged for 50% and the next business day Todd called me to schedule the install. He asked if I was available that afternoon and arrived at my Home at 4pm to install my shades. He had everything he needed to do the job, including a very large ladder. As he worked he asked what I thought about the position of the shades, were they straight, did they look centered. He also suggested I go to the second floor and make sure they looked right from that angle as well. Todd made sure bayberries and cords and wires were hidden from view at all angles. He took care to not damage my walls or leave a mess. Overall I could not have asked for more kind caring service, attention to detail, or efficiency. I will use the services again if I ever need them and highly recommend Blinded by Delight. I am not blind to the improvement this made in my home but I am DELIGHTED!

It went good. They came out and did everything and installed them no issues. Their price is same as pretty much like others I got quotes from. I think it is little much for shutters but that is what everybody charges. Everything turned out really nice. They came right out and made the appointment one day, they are there the next day. They always answers the phone for any questions or issues.

Cyndi came to construction site to give me pricing just after sheetrock was complete. Other companies I contacted would not come out to give me pricing - wanted me to give them measurements. Cyndi's advise at this stage of construction was a huge bonus because she gave me guidance on how to have the trim carpenters design the window sills to look the best with the shutter frames. We selected style and color and she gave me pricing on the spot. Cyndi won my confidence and I gave her the job. She came back for final measurements after the window sills were installed. I selected faux wood, route-less blinds and they are beautiful! These were installed before we moved into the house and we were provided stick-on paper shades to use on the other windows until the shutters came in. The shutters took a little longer than anticipated to receive due to (of all things!) the longshoreman's strike on the west coast. I selected 3 1/2" faux wood with split louvers so the top slats could be operated separately from the bottom (Cyndi's suggestion). When they came in, Cyndi expedited our installation so they were installed last week. Oh boy were they worth the wait! They fit perfectly and look absolutely stunning! I could not be happier with the style and functionality features Cyndi recommended and the price. The installer of both the blinds and shutters came when promised, was a true "Pro" and performed the installation to perfection! Cyndi and her team are professionals that will go the extra mile to see that your project receives the greatest measure of attention (she personally responded to my voicemail after business hours!), fabulous design recommendations, careful consideration to your budget and completed to perfection! Highly recommend this vendor!

My wife went to their showroom. She spoke with the owner and her designer who explained about the kinds and quality of products. They made a recommendation. They later came to our home to measure the windows and provide an estimate. The items were provided and installed at the times promised. They look great. We would definitely use Blinded by Delight again.
