Blinded by Delight

Description of Work: We moved from out of state and built our dream house here in San Antonio. We checked on Angie's List and saw all of the wonderful reviews for Blinded by Delight. We are very contemporary and have had a lot of difficulty finding contemporary decorating in this area. We were thrilled when we visited the showroom and found numerous options available to us. Cyndi came out to our house while it was still under construction and helped us create all of the looks we were hoping for. We ended up ordering treatments for every window in the house. We had a couple of problems that were corrected immediately and at no cost to us. Our fabric valances in the kitchen had a beaded strip in the back which was not great when you looked from the outside ( which is in our screened in porch). Cyndi had them returned to the seamstress and redone to perfection in a matter of a few days. They are exactly what we wanted. Cyndi and Dan are both very professional and extremely friendly. We appreciate everything they have done for us and have been enjoyable to work with. We would HIGHLY recommend Blinded by Delight for all of your window treatment needs.

Description of Work: I met them in their store to pick out shades for our living room to block our evening sun. They are great about pointing out ways to save money along the way. They came to my house twice to pick out fabric for window coverings in my living room and my dining room. Both turned out great. I would recommend for sure. I work full time so she met me after hours or on the weekend which was very helpful.

Description of Work: Consult to measure & order sheer drapes for living room along with hard ware and installation. Product arrived in time. Installation was odd. Installer/handy man was unfriendly towards his coworkers and client. The hardware was purchase at Bed, Bath & Beyond--not exactly what was proposed or shown during consult. One set of drapes hangs differently from the other by about 2-3 inches. They are not horrible, substandarded to what was expect and their service was rushed and hurriedly departed. No follow up to see if all is well or even if further work is desired. In fact, when I mentioned that maybe I would consider adding color end drapery panels--her remark was "and she would still hire us"--leading me to believe that even she knew it was not her best work. I would not use them again. J C Penney Draperies were a far better deal and better quality.

Description of Work: We moved into our new house not sure of what types of window coverings to get. Blinded by Delight sells window coverings from different companies. Our initial meeting with Cindy was focused on educating us on the different types of window coverings and vendor offerings. Cindy was very professional, knowledgable and most of all she did not push us into making an immediate decision and purchase. We did visit another store closer to home but their knowledge and presentation was not very impressive. We do recommend Blinded by Delight and plan on purchasing additional window coverings from them.

Description of Work: I was very happy with Cyndi, her assistant, and installer. Cyndi listened to my needs and provided exactly what I wanted without extra expense. I appreciated that she was conscious of value for price on both my scarf valance and door blinds. She spent a lot of time making my scarf valance hang "just right" and I was very pleased with the final effect. She went the extra mile giving me advice on finishing touches for some of my rooms, and her installer even hung some valance rods for me. I would highly recommend Blinded by Delight to anyone!

Description of Work: We selected Blinded by Delight from reviews on Angie's List. Cyndi Roberts came out and listened to our needs. She is very thorough, pricing is very competitive ( had already receive three other bids for same window treatments from other companies). Shades arrived about 10 days after Cyndi placed the order; shutters were installed about 8 weeks after the order placed. Installation for shades and shutters went very smooth without any issues. Pricing for shades and shutters is very competitive. Cyndi is a SME on all products she offers. Very easy to work with and very responsive to your needs. Will definitely use Blinded by Delight again.

Description of Work: I needed two dual cell shades for a bright secondary bedroom. Cindy came to my house showed me all the different options and took the time to hold up the samples to show me the design and/or how much light they would block and or let in. I was very pleased with her selections and Todd came to install the shades, he was prompt and professional. I would use Cindy again in the future.

Description of Work: I am extremely pleased with the shutters I purchased from this company. They re exactly what I envisioned were very affordable! The estimate was done promptly, and the installer showed up on time . I would use them again.

Description of Work: Cyndi is great. She has the old-fashioned customer service so rarely found nowadays. She comes to the home with her books and ideas, does not rush you, and calls back when she says she will. One shade was made incorrectly by the company, and she is having them remake it. I highly recommend her.
