They were great, They showed up on that day and they were done in 30 minutes. There's no way in the world I would have ever hired another guy in my life. They're just very fast and they're really better at it.

James came out and measured our windows for plantation shutters and thoroughly explained the options available. Once the order arrived, James called and scheduled the installation. He and his helper were prompt, professional, and courteous. We are very pleased with our shutters. We will definitely use Blind Ambition again when we are ready to install more window coverings.

I can't say enough good things about this experience. James was very knowledgable, experienced, and courteous. He was able to offer great input and suggestions regarding selection of shutters. The shutters look awesome and he even hung a deer head for me at a difficult height. It has been a long time since I have experienced this level of service. Great job James and company!

Mr. Johnson and his company, Blind Ambition, were most helpful in replacing vertical blinds on our large, three-panel sliding glass door with horizontal blinds. He and his helper were exactly on time for the initial appointment to measure for the blinds and answered all our questions to our satisfaction. The blinds arrived ahead of schedule and Mr. Johnson again arrived promptly to install them. We are very pleased with the qualitiy of the blinds and with the way they look. We were impressed by Mr. Johnson's professionalism and greatly appreciate his help. It was a pleasure to do business with him.

The whole experience was delightful! James was so nice to deal with and he did what he said he'd do, when he said he'd do it! The shades were ordered and here in a timely manner, wonderful quality, and quickly and neatly installed. James and Wes were totally professional and thoroughly delightful. I highly recommend using this company!

It was great. The guy showed up. The price was a good price. He got the work done really fast. He has actually had an open schedule and called ahead and asked if we could live his time up and we told him sure. It was overall a good experience. I will never hang another blind in my life if that guy is around. He is good.

James was to the minute on time for the appointment to measure for plantation shutters. He had sample colors and trim designs with him. He explained the manufacturing process. The plantation shutters were fabricated in China. The work is done with precision, the finish is smooth and the shutters perform well on opening and closing. When the shutters arrived James called me to set up an appointment for insallation and again was punctual to the minute. He and his assistant installed the shutters and left no debris behind. After spending many days waiting for different trades to show up at vaguely appointed times during construction, it was a huge relief to work with someone has the professionalism to be punctual.

Came in as scheduled and installed the awning in about two hours. Spent about 30-45 minutes going over operations, etc with much detail. Very friendly and outgoing. Would highly recommend his services.

They called early in the day to ask if they could move our appointment up an hour. So they actually were on sight an hour early, but let us know ahead of time. They installed 7 blinds in about 40 minutes. Did all the clean-up and hauled off all the shipping materials. Very courteous and professional. The price was excellent for the work they did. WE WILL DEFINITELY USE THESE GUYS AGAIN, AND RECOMMEND THEM TO FRIENDS AND FAMILIES.

James gave us a quote on the cost last November and advised it would take about 2 months to get the blinds in. We had 36 windows plus a back door that needed shutters were very satisfied with the cost as we had gotten quotes from 2 other providers and his was the best. The shutters came in and James and Wes arrived on time and took about 1 1/2 days to complete the job. The removed all of the existing blinds as well. This company is the greatest and you could not ask for more courteous and professional individuals than James and Wes.

We had recently purchased our house in October and within several weeks the awning cover motor stopped working. We contacted James at Blind Ambition and he responded to our call immediately and came to our home within a few days. Rather than trying to sell us a complete new awning system he checked out all the parts and advised that all we needed was a new cover and motor. A great job!! The place we ordered curtains from wanted close to $300 to have them installed. Used once before and will definitely use again.

Provider gave free estimate and discussed planned usage to help determine what features would be desired and what would be required to install awning. He was on time for estimate and installation visits and installed awning very professionally and efficiently. Awning is a very welcome replacement for patio umbrella previously used to shield people from sun and rain as they wait to be helped. The awning is a blessing and we would definitely use his services again! The whole process was quick and easy and we are very pleased with the product and service!

Excellent. The large sun screens are modern looking, shield the sun and still let us enjoy the scenery and are very easy to operate. Before making a choice we were given professional and knowledgeable information and advice. We are extremely pleased with the outcome.

James originally arrived on time to a**** our awning wants and needs. He was very professional in all of his actions while helping us chose the proper awning for our needs. When the awning arrived from the factory, he once again arrived with an assistant and they performed a very clean and professional installation. A few weeks later we contacted him for a consultation regarding solar screens. As always he arrived at the scheduled time. He went through the options available on solar screens and their benefits. After we made the decision on which screens we wanted he measured each window and door to insure a custom fit. When the screens arrived James and an assistant arrived and performed another professional installation. James and his assistant are very professional in all aspects of the service being provided. James in very knowledgeable and conscience in assisting the customer in choosing the correct product for their requirements. Working with James has been a purely enjoyable and satisfying experience.

Called Mr. Johnson on Saturday and asked him if he could pickup, deliver, and install a Sun Setter Shade for me. He said he could do it the following Thursday morning at 9:00 and the charge would be $300.00. This required him driving 15 miles north of my house to pick up the shade. He did exactly what he said. He picked up the shade at 9:00 AM and was at my home at 9:45. They (James Johnson & Keith) did an excellent job and were extremely knowledgeable about SS Awnings. I am very happy I found someone who knew so much about the awnings. There was a lot more to know than I thought there was!! They also provide regular service for the awnings when needed. (Good to know!) I thought $300 was a lot of money but thank goodness I found a SS Shade expert who knew exactly what he was doing!! I would give them my highest recommendation!

He was a young kid and did not seem to have the skill set to do the work. I had to end up having another company come out to redo the work.

Last year I used Blind Ambition for the first time. James installed drapes in my old location so I hired him come back to take them down and install new drapes in my new location. He also hung all my paintings perfectly. I purchased a hanging garage storage unit with pulleys and he installed that as well. He was always on time, efficient, knowledgeable, reasonably priced and friendly. I will definitely use Blind Ambition again and can recommend him without reservation.

Found James on Angie's List and contacted him and set up an appointment. They were on time, a big plus in my book. We discussed what I wanted and they got to work. I had not decided whether to use rings or the pole pocket so they held them up both ways for me to decide, quite patient. They were very professional and efficient. They cleaned up after themselves throwing away all the empty boxes ,etc. I was very pleased and would certainly recommend him highly.

I had purchased silk drapes for my bedroom windows and I didn't want someone inexperienced to hang them. I found this company on Angie's List and decided to give them a try. James and his helper arrived early and went straight to work. I'm very pleased with the results. Unlike some curtain hangers, James knows how to fold the material so that the drapes look their best. Before he left, he hung three art pieces for me. He's also very good about cleaning up the work area after completing the project.

I met James Johnson, owner of Blind Ambition when he was installing an awning for a neighbor. He was also fixing their blinds by restringing them. I initially inquired about information on installing another set of shutters in my home so he came over to give me an estimate. I also showed him some blinds where the slats were snapped in two and the shutters in another part of the home where the slat had also broken. I asked him what it would take to fix the shutter slat...he said "nothing. I'll fix it for free." He carried extra small parts in his truck and it took him all of 5 minutes to fix with no charge. Mr. Johnson was very professional, courteous, and very informative about the kinds of green products out there for blinds. I appreciate the extra time he took to fix my shutter. He also gave me some other quick do-it-yourself ideas for fixing another part of the original shutters. Meanwhile, I will certainly use his company when we are ready to install our second set of shutters.
