He failed miserably. He damaged my plants, he tracked mud all over the interior of my house and told me if I wanted it cleaned up I would need to hire a maid service. He even cut portions of my tree without my permission. He also said I was supposed to supply him drinks as a part of the contract, and even specified Big Red soda. I had recommended him to 5 other individuals before I saw his poor work, and he performed poorly for all of them as well. He has half my money, and he hasnt done half of the work. He took the money and ran. This is what happens when you give someone with a troubled past a chance. Home owners beware.
Description of Work: He was supposed to replace woodwork around three windows, around the garage, and 7 pieces of siding along 3 sides of my home, and then paint the entire exterior, as well as the trim work.

Response from Bills Handyman Service
It's just sad that anyone with $3.50 can come online and say whatever they want about someone's business whether it's true or not. We provided quality work at a reasonable price up until the point where (removed name} got angry with me for personal reasons (not wanting to chit chat on the phone with her about non work related subjects) and locked us out of the job. I told her that if she wasn't going to let us finish we'd like to get our tools and be paid for the work we had done up until that point. She refused. She locked our tools in her garage and refused to return them for five days. Five days we couldn't work there or anywhere else. In the end she demanded that I give her a list of seven things that I liked about her if I wanted to be paid. Needing my tools back, I complied and made up seven things that I thought she'd like to hear. At that point, almost a week later, she allowed me back into the garage and left me a check for $300. $210 of which was a week overdue. I cashed the check and from it bought another $25 in materials leaving a balance of $65. I worked the rest of the day (alone, as my crew refused to return) getting her house to an acceptable stopping point so that it would be weather resistant until she could find someone else to finish the job. Six hours for free. I then collected my tools and left. In return for my professionalism, she came up with the idea to slander me online. Nobody should have to go through what we had to go through with this woman. She did everything she could to make the job hard on us and is now doing everything she can to try to affect my future livelihood negatively. I guess some people just have nothing better to do. Nothing that comes out of this woman's mouth is to be trusted. She's the type of person that would rather have negative attention than no attention. I've known her for four years and she's always been the same. Always playing the victim. She's never wrong and everything is always someone else's fault. I knew better than to take this job. Too bad I cannot post pictures of the work. My work speaks for itself. I assure you... If you are interested in top quality work and will not try to coerce me into a personal relationship you will have no problems.
