It was just an installation so it shouldn't take longer than 30 minutes and it took almost 2 hours. I would have rather or been more prepared if they said it could take up to 2 hours up front. I was telling my boss I would be there in an hour and it was 2 hours. The lady in the lobby was fine. Everything was good. It was just that one thing.

They did a great job. The insurance covered about $4000. They did it pretty quick. They had to order the parts from Mercedes. It wasn't their fault, they had to wait a week for parts. The workers were very cordial and very helpful.

They're fabulous. I tell all my friends.

They were great! They were fantastic, they were really good. They finished within the time period they said they would. They're really friendly. It was on time, they were extremely nice and helpful.

They’re good! It wasn’t a big job. Other the years we have used them a lot. They guarantee it, you can always take it back and they will fix it. It was done in a very excellent manner, trouble free and the problem never reoccurred. The shop foreman is the only one I talked with, professional in every respect.

They were great. They worked us in because it followed a huge hail storm and they weren't going to be able to get us in for like a year. He was very nice to fit us in. They were fantastic, got it done when they said they would, and they were really friendly.

Immediate service. Left car night before & when I called to ensure they had gotten my request they had already diagnosed & were calling for parts & prices. Called me to discuss options, made decision & should return car to me on Wed.

Charlie and his crew are totally awesome and treat me (actually I think it is my truck) as a member of their family. Always a smile, and Charlie, Natasha, and Tony (Oorah Marine!) remember my name whenever I come in.

Both service visits were because of Check Engine light and noticable performance issues. the first time, the timing chain was falling apart. They checked first the oil pan and pickup to see if the problem could be just the pickup. They found pieces of the timing chain so they moved up. This was all communicated to me for approval before proceeding. The truck has 150,000 miles and has been great, but always had a tick when running and cold starts were rough. After the timing chain fix we still heard the rough cold starts (as if no oil in engine). 2 months after this, the VCT Solenoid needed replacement. This fixed the issue. They charged only parts on the second trip. Great group there, works hard to understand the problem. Have worked on multiple cars for me with reliable outcomes (over the last 3 years). I will continue to use them.

they fixed my seat belt for free. It was locked and unsafe and I was not able to use it. He fixed it right on the spot even though there were other people waiting and he didn't charge a cent. LOVE THOES GUYS!

It's been very good. I like that they are friendly and they are close to where I live. They seem to do good work. I feel like I can trust them that they are not just going to tell me to do something because they want to make more money. In fact, they made a mistake once and made it right because something got broken and they gave us like 2 free oil changes.

We retrieved contact information for and quot;Belden's Automotiveand quot; from the AAA approved list of auto shops and checked Angie's List, as well, and saw that they received an and quot;Aand quot; rating (there was only one review) so we thought we'd be in good hands. The car would not turn over at all a few weeks ago. It was completely dead. So we got it towed to Belden's on Bulverde Rd. on an early Saturday afternoon. *Side note: My husband, a few of his co-workers, and the individual who towed our car all thought that the alternator was the problem. None of these folks were mechanics nor had extensive experience with auto repair. * Charlie was our contact person. He's a nice guy but it is very apparent why one of his duties is talking on the phone with customers . He's a very smooth talker. Since they were about to close up when our car arrived at there shop Saturday, Charlie said they'd take a look at it on Monday since they were closed Sunday. He called on Monday to say that after hooking our car up to their diagnostics machine they figured out that the battery simply needed to be replaced. We were able to pick our car up that Monday. Within 48 hours the car died again on a Wednesday morning while I was taking my son to school in unusually dense traffic in cold rainy weather. It was towed back to Belden's. I received a call from Charlie later on that day and he said that they just couldn't figure out what was wrong with the car but that he wouldn't charge us the time it took for them to test out the car this time around. As if he was doing us a favor? If they hadn't messed up the first time to begin with we wouldn't have had to bring the car back for more and quot;high tech diagnosticsand quot;. He said that one of the original owners, Jason Belden, would have to come to the shop to check the car out but that he wouldn't be there until the next day. Five days later Jason finally gets to the shop to see our car. Guess what the diagnosis was? The alternator. Their high tech diagnostics machine couldn't figure this out but my husband, his co-workers, and the tow truck guy did? Hmmm. Meanwhile, we are racking up rental car fees which they never offered to help pay until I asked them to help. Jason agreed to pay for 3 out of 6 days worth of rental car fees. We got the car back a week later on a Tuesday. They continue to open up new shops around town. My suggestion to them would be to stop expanding and focus on quality control. Just a few days ago one of the Beldens gave me a call to follow up on my experience. I shared with him our experience and said that we wouldn't be using them in the future. His concern was not that they inconvenienced us or made us pay more money than we needed to. His concern was the and quot;bottom lineand quot; ,not what we had to go through to get there, and he kept on saying during our conversation, and quot;But it's running fine now, right?and quot;. In my opinion, a reputable reliable company would have apologized for making their initial mistake by crediting us back the money spent on the battery replacement that we didn't even need and paying for all of the rental car charges. This is definitely a and quot;hit or missand quot; company. Sometimes they get it right and sometimes they don't at the customers expense. These folks are very nice but not very competent.

Belden's does a great job of servicing vehicles. They are usually very busy, so you may have to wait a bit but the service is top quality. They will provide you all details about what needs to be fixed on your vehicle and options to get to the desired end state. They are honest and have never recommended repairs that didn't need to be done (I am not a mechanic, but I know enough about my cars to know what needs to be done and what doesn't for the most part).

After I talked to a Service Writer over the phone, I took my vehicle over to get a price quote on a certain problem I was experiencing. I told them my regular mechanic says to bring it to you guys for this specific problem. Please give me an estimate on how much it would it cost? They told me as a new customer, I get 1 hour free diagnostic on my first visit. I signed the document for them to accept and look at my vehicle to provide an estimate. They called me back and told me everything they thought needed to be fixed on my vehicle except what I took it in there to be quoted. They stated in order to look at my issue, it would cost me 2 hours labor to come up with an accurate quote and they already exhausted the 1-hour 'FREE' diagnostic on things i already knew needed attention on the rest of my vehicle. It does state in the document you sign that you will receive 1-hour 'Free' credit towards your service bill IF you have them do the repair. Otherwise, you owe them 1 hour of labor @ $90/hr + tax. In short, they will look at your vehicle and give you a quote, but it will cost you money. Read the document fine print before you sign and be aware of the way they do business. Eventually, they did drop the labor charges once I pointed out how misleading their 'FREE' program is for new customers.

In addition to the repairs, I also requested a complete transmission service which included a road test and flushing the existing system using BG products to include the cleanser and conditioner. The engine oil and filter were also changed using BG 5-30 synthetic. The service took a week due to a couple of hard to find parts (did I mention the car is a custom Street Rod with a Chevrolet 383 (Stroked) and GM 700R4 transmission) and they took excellent care of the car while they had it. They also gave me, at no extra charge, a written nationwide warranty for 12 months/12,000 miles through Nationwide Protection Plus and 18 months/18,000 miles at Belden's. Plus, they provide roadside assistance during the warranty period. All in all I believe I've found the proverbial neighborhood garage to perform maintenance on my baby.
