We drove across town to the shop. They said the media would be ready in about 1 1/2 weeks; it wasn't. After the 1 1 /2 weeks, they said 1 1/2 days; it wasn't. Then they said one day as they had one item to complete; it wasn't ready then. Finally, they called and asked if I wanted to have duplicates as I had originally requested, and I said no, so at last my order would be ready. It was ready when I got there. After checking the DVDs when I got home, I had two discs that I could not identify. I was charged $10 for these. When I called, Chris, the store person, said that he probably hadn't completed one and I should bring it back and he would complete it. I told him that would mean a drive across town for us. He said I could mail it back, along with my credit card, for a credit. He refused to issue a credit for my account or make it right...it was his admitted error in giving me a disc that wasn't completed yet or ready. The other disc had something on it that I had never seen and have no idea where it originated. I told him I had 7 VHS and had 7 discs and had no idea about the other 2. He refused to give me credit and was open to my disputing the charges through my credit card company. I realize that $10 isn't a lot of money, but to seniors on a fixed income it is. Also, it is not easy for us to have to drive across town frequently. We did not feel that Chris at AV Transfers cared if he ever had our business again and $10 was worth more to him than having a valued customer. If anyone uses this service, be very careful. They are not out for quality service or the customer.
