driveway pavers
 + -1 moreAfter several calls and delays he finally showed up. I needed a quote on asphalt repair. He took no measurements and made no notes. Of course he had a "special" deal on some leftover material but I had to take it that day. He accepted cash or money orders only. No checks, no credit cards. He seemed like a shyster so I told him to leave and that we weren't interested in his services.

 + 0 moreMr Riley appeared on time, worked steadily through the day, and finished by 5:00 PM. I think he provided value for money. Mr Riley will return near the end of September to apply a final sealing coat to complete the job.
Description of Work: We had a short driveway 62' x 8' resurfaced for $1.50 per square foot. The space was small enough that the asphalt had to be put down by hand shovel, leveled with an application rake, and then compressed by a hand operated power compressor. Preparing the old deteriorated surface and then applying the new asphalt took about one full day's work by two men. It is hot, difficult work. No chance for a DIY project! Mr. Riley and his assistant were prompt, courteous, and took pride in their work. So far as I can determine, the job was done very satisfactorily.
