I contacted Artistic Trees in late August explaining I was looking at a deadline with SAWS to complete a Xeroscape bed. Rene Pina, the owner, was more than willing to complete the project, though I was giving him a tight deadline. Rene consulted with me regarding the plants SAWS approved for the beds and leant his artistic eye to create a bed that complimented another bed in the yard. I also, had a flower bed that I had cleared out and he completed that for me. Rene took the time to consult with me as to my overall vision of my front yard and created design plans for future projects too! This was much appreciated! Rene is a hands-on owner, who takes time to get to know his clients and bring beautiful landscaping designs to fruition!

There price is a little more expensive. He is well vast and has always given me advice that I do not ask for. He has always been on target and I have used him over the years. I trust that they will give me good advice and do a good job. I have never had any problem. They came over the weekend and gave me an estimate. They were very responsive to come and see what the problem was. I have always been happy with their results.

Needed tree service and checked Angie's list. So called and left a message and they never returned the call. Hired someone else.

Rene and his crew were an excellent choice in tending to our century Live Oaks, Cedar Elms, and numerous Mountain Cedars. They showed the expertise we required, as our region is rightly concerned with “oak wilt”, which requires immediate painting of pruned areas and sterile tools. The price was right but not cheap. If you want cheap – do it yourself. But if you want an arborist to help you keep your trees healthy for a life-time … or centuries, call Rene.

They were on time. They were prompt. I dislike that they cut more branches then they were supposed to. They just kind of made the trees a little too tall for me. All of the bird feeders were on the lower branches. They were clean and they picked everything up. They were very thorough. The price was the lowest I found.

I called them last minute to remove a big tree limb from our office roof. Rene's crew showed up that afternoon. They removed limb from roof, trimmed all other limbs touching the roof and cleaned out the gutters. It is refreshing to have a crew do their job and more than was expected, show up on time and clean up after themselves without having to "micro-manage" them! I would highly recommend using Artistic Trees, Inc.

It went well. Workers are extraordinary. They reminded me of Cirque du Soleil preformers as they swung through the trees teathered to ropes and pullies.

We had seen examples of his braces before. Ours was more complex. Did a great job. Tooke few get weeks for Rick to get the braces fabricated. Installation was in and out same day.

I found Rene to be personable and pleasant while he listened to my input and then made several recommendations on moving foreword. On my service day the team arrived on time and with all the tools and equipment needed. I am impressed with the knowledge and execution of the work I received. At first the company was real responsive to get the job, but once the job was completed I noticed one of the plants was dying and the tree had some damaged branches. Mr.Pina stated his work had 6 month guarantee, I called him immediately and still NO ONE came bye nor did they bother to call me back to at least try to make this right. My last call to their office I was assured that Matt would come bye and of course AGAIN no one showed up or had the decency to contact me.

I had used another tree service 4 years ago and this time they wanted $2400. I called Rene and he quoted $1500. They showed up as scheduled and his crew was very friendly and courteous. They also laid flagstone next to the driveway and hose bib area for $650. After running the sprinkler system the next day, I found a leak. They will be out this week to repair it. I was very impressed with Renee's professionalism and knowledge. He also mentioned the importance of tree fertilization which I will do. Also his office manager Liz was very helpful with handling the changes in scheduling due to rain delays.

Artistic Trees landscaped our front yard as well as installing French Drains to solve our rain drainage problem. We are incredibly pleased with the results. Rene Pina, owner of Artistic Trees, hired a designer, Mike Thompson of Condalia Designs, and the two of them produced intricate plans and listened carefully to our tastes. These plans, with our input, went through several changes before work started. The crew arrived at 7:20 AM on the first day. They brought equipment and materials and ample manpower. The first day all excavation and site prep work was completed and decorative walls partially installed. They worked steadily and cheerfully, leaving the site each day in pristine shape. On the second day, walls and raised flower beds were completed, new topsoil and gravel laid down, and new plants arrived. On the third day everything was planted and all stone and mulch was in place. Plants saved from the old landscaping were placed as we directed in different parts of the yard. Normally the job would have taken seven workdays. But another job was delayed and we had two three-man crews plus supervisors. So it was completed much more quickly. Throughout the job, the crew acted professionally at all times. They all worked speedily but carefully. These men come to work in clean uniforms looking sharp. That by itself is a good indicator of the quality of their work. Their powered equipment is also clean and in tip-top shape, another indicator. We have two really large oak trees, under which the main headers for the sprinklers run. These gentlemen found a leak in the root system of one of the trees, dug it out and repaired it at no additional charge. As stated, Condalia Designs worked with Artistic Trees on the design. Mike Thompson is great to work with and was very patient with our requests. He helped us find large pots used as decorations in the yard, and plants to fill them. We recommend Artistic Trees and Condalia Designs to anyone interested in knowledgeable and artistic landscaping.

Chris and his guys were efficient, friendly and did the job. Chris didn't over charge or try to bill for non-existent unnecessary services. What struck me most is Chris was knowledgeable and communicated that information in a relaxed manner and kept up communications if he was running behind or early, what have you he kept me informed. I was never left not knowing where things stood with the job and that's important when you have other things going on in your day. I felt a part of the process. Thanx Chris!

They did a wonderful job. They showed up on time for the estimate and the actual job. The pricing was reasonable. He is an arborist. He assisted us with a sick tree and has been coming out to monitor the tree since. I may even have him out for landscaping work. There were about 4-5 workers who got the work done in one day. They took the time to answer all of my questions and were very nice. They mulched down the trimmings and hauled them away and even took some other branches that I cut down as well.

It went great! Rene Pina and his crew were GREAT to work with and totally professional. Our backyard trees were beautiful and new flower beds exactly as we planned. Rene certainly knows what he's doing and has great ideas and vision. Would definitely hire him and his team again!

Mr. Pina knows his trees! We actually wanted all of the trees on our property mowed down and he convinced to keep a few oak trees behind. He is an arborist who loves his trees so don't be surprised if he persuades you to keep a few of your trees as well. He did save us quite a bit of money since he convinced us not to remove the number of trees we were initially going to get rid of. Rene and his crew were very professional and what I was impressed with the most was not only did Rene know his trees but his entire crew was highly knowledgeable and educated on all tree varieties! They didn't simply follow orders with their heads to the ground, they knew what they were doing and took pride in their work! Our backyard used to look like a haunted forest with all the legustrum that had cropped up and grown out of control throughout the years but now it looks like a backyard and we get so much more sunlight into our house which I LOVE. We will be taking down our 5 cluster oak tree plus one persimmon tree in the future and we will most definitely call Artistic Trees, Inc. to do the job!

I have used Artistic for several years . They're always on time, clean up everything and workers are very courteous. I deal directly with Rene Pena(sp.?)the owner and have referred several of my friends to them.

The fallen tree was also on my neighbors house and Artistic Trees responded over the weekend to assess the situation. They returned on Monday to do the majority of the work, finishing up 2 days later. They came to the door a couple of times to validate what I wanted done as well as make recommendations. Very professional and efficient, and courteous.

After calling, arrived the next day to give estimate. On approval, date was set for the work, which is described above.

This is the second time I have used Artistic Tree service. Several years back I had them trim all my live oak trees and I was so pleased I had them come out recently to trim some smaller trees. I am going to have some landscaping done in the near future and I will certainly have them do the job. About a month ago I reccommended them to one of my friends and she was so pleased with the work they did she called and thanked me immediately. They were always on time and did the work for a fair price. I give them an A.

The guys showed up on time. They were polite, professional, and competent. They did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. The trees look beautiful.
