We have had the pleasure of having Jason/Aquia helping us with our pool since 2012. He was referred to us after some pretty extraordinarily bad service. Having never owned a pool before, I was completely in the dark as to how to maintain a pool, much less how much it would cost to have it maintained. From the beginning, Jason always made me feel as though we were partners in the care of our pool and always explained to me what he was doing and why he was doing it. More over, when we are in the need of a repair or a part, Jason has always tried to find the most cost efficient solution....never trying to up-sale me for an extra buck. He's always available for questions/concerns and keeps his customers in the loop regarding all aspects of pool maintenance. We've had quite a rodeo with our pool. I'm convinced that other companies would have dropped us for an easier client. Jason has stuck with us through it all. Not too often do you run across someone that understands how vital customer satisfaction is to a successful business. Jason and Aquia exemplify this. The price of his services is competitive with his peers but the service itself is head and shoulders above them. I strongly recommend Aquia. You'll be glad you called them.

Wow! I can't say enough about Jason and Aquia Pools....except awesome. He arrived on time and got right down to explaining what I would receive for services today and then worked on everything. He explained each time he found something that would require extra work. He never took a break and spent a whole day trying to correct our pool issues. He was very patient at answering all my questions . When he left the pool was clean and everything was put back the way we had it and told us what to expect for the next visit. I would highly recommend Aquia Pool and Spa for any pool owner. Worth making a change in service, too.

I contacted the pool company and within days we were getting a quote and information on how to care for the pool. We signed up for 3 months since there is a discount. Every week I get an email to confirm service and if chemicals were needed to treat the pool.

Jason (owner) and the team at Aquia are great! Jason numerous times has come to the rescue when I have pool issues -- usually on the same day that I get in touch with him. He always comes up with a solution and does rest till whatever the issue is is fully fixed. It's great to know that I have the team at Aquia watching after my pool!

Fantastic! I love this company...I love them so much that I recommended them to a good friend and she now uses them for her pool. They are responsive to any and all questions. They help me troubleshoot issues over the phone on a Sunday. They are awesome!!!

Honestly it did not start off very well. I signed up for a year of full service cleaning and chemicals and maintenance, forked out a lot of money, and after the first cleaning they didn't show up for a few weeks? I was really confused why my pool was full of algae and didn't smell like chlorine. Well I fell through the cracks when they changed their service management software! I called to complain and they gave me those weeks for free (or rather lengthend the year contract by a few weeks) and Jason showed up in person to clean my pool with his assistant. He was extremely apologetic. They've done an upstanding job since then and haven't missed a cleaning. Full emailed reports of status of the pool and when they were their cleaning keep me up to date. They did some re-build on my filter after a bucket of sand got dumped in by a kid too! I've recommended them to a few others based on how they recovered since that initial mishap. Communication and service are excellent.

Aquia has been taking care of the pool for about 6 months. The pool had major problems. The pool is over 20 years old, and holds over 40,000 gallons. It is pelted by acorns and oak pollen 6 months out of the year along with two dogs who are constantly swimming in the pool. They have tackled Black Algae, broken pumps, clogged lines, cracked lines, dog hair and filters packed full of sediment. When they first started working on the pool, they would come two and three times a week to regulate the chemicals and check the equipment. The pool previously ran 24 hours a day just to keep the chemicals in check and now, it is on a timer and it only runs 8 hours a day. With all the pool issues, they never gave up. The pool is still huge, over 20 years old and knee deep in acorns after it rains but it is crystal clear and we have not missed one day of using it since Jason at Aquia has been taking care of it. Aquia's monthly prices are cheaper than the previous company who we would NOT recommend. If there are issues, they always gives us an explanation of the services needed and a written estimate of that work. We receive an email each time they are at our house stating what they did and the current state of the pool. After years of trying, we have finally found the PERFECT pool company!! We highly recommend Aquia Pool and Spa!!

Love them. They are always responsive, give good advice on equipment maintenance, competitive labor costs and high quality work. They are also great with my dog which is a plus!

Jason and his worker came out promptly and inspected all equipment, water conditions, then provided the best case scenario to remedy a very bad situation We were impresssed with his knowledge and the answers he gave to all questions. We receive an email weekly after each visit providing the pool conditions and any additional information we should know. Jason and his staff are neat and professional and we are very pleased with the service we have received from Aquia Pool. The tech that takes care of our pool every week is the best. He does an extremely good job and when he leaves the pool is spectacular.

We are in the process of selling our house when we noticed the spa light had gone out.

Jason and his partner are great! They do a perfect job with the pool. Jason's communication with the customer is just fantastic. Payment options are offered to suit whatever is best for you. He's even going to help order and install a new light feature for us. Very highly recommended provider!

We have used Aquia Pool & Spa Services for over one year to service our 10,000 gallon pool on a weekly schedule. Summary includes water testing and necessay adjustments to maintain proper.pool balance for safe swimming. Never misses this service and provides a detailed condition report. His weekly service has included brushing water line tile, all walls and steps. Remove leaves and debris and emptied all baskets and the Polaris pool sweep bag. They made minor repairs to heater, pool pump and installed safety hand rails. ADDITIONAL COMMENT: Jason Hanchey, owner of Aquia Pools is very realiable. He has responded to all of my questions quickly and provided suggestions. Would be completely available as a reference thru AngiesList.

Jason was very helpful and patient in explaining the process. This is my first pool and it was daunting at first to say the least. There were a few options to be discussed and after talking to Jason he allowed me to make my own decisions with his counsel. Jason is a very nice and professional guy to work with.

Jason answered my call the first time I contacted him. We set an appointment for only a couple of days later. He brought treats for my 6 dogs!!!! He thoroughly explained what was needed and after further investigation determined that my pool was worse off than he had initially thought. He suggested two options and never tried to sway my towards the more expensive albeit better option. A service call that I assume should have taken no more than an hour ended up taking several! Jason is a consummate professional and I have retained him to clean my pool on a weekly basis. His prices are very fair and the level of comfort I already have with him is priceless!!! It all started with a leak from my non-functioning pool heater. Jason responded quickly, assessed the situation, and put alternative solutions in terms I could understand. I ended replacing the heater; he again walked me through alternatives and worked with the heater team to ensure the installation aligned with needed follow on pool repairs. He also assessed the state of my pool filter and the condition of the pool and spa. He provided a list of items needing repair or replacement, and how each item was impacting the function and efficiency of the system--again, all in a way I could understand and choose what I'd like done. I was so impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and customer services that I asked him to become my regular pool service provider. He provided me very reasonable and competitive quotes for different levels of monthly services. When pointing out that my pool really needed a one-time, major service to get it in a condition for monthly service, he recommended that I contact my pool service at the time to see if they would do all the things he listed to be done before changing to Jason (he reasoned that my existing pool service might do those things as part of money I was already paying them at the time...which meant Jason was willing to tell me what my pool needed and hoped I could get it done without him having to charge me). Again, impressed with his professionalism and level of customer service, I switch immediately to Aquia and gladly paid him for the time he put in and for the quality I knew I'd get from Aquia. After each regular service, I get an email from Aquia letting me know the condition of my pool as well as what he plans on doing in upcoming visits. He keeps you informed and I have no doubts regarding his dependability, trustworthiness, and commitment to his customers.

They are responsive, efficient and have always completed what they said they were going to do, when they said they would do it. We will continue to use Jason Hanchey at Aquia. He's the real deal.

It turned out really well. He has been doing the pool service for some time and he always does a good job. He is very dependable and personable. We have no issue's at all as he has always done well for us.

First of all, Jason wanted to insure that the new cover fit the spa perfectly. He came out to our home twice to make sure his dimensions were accurate. Secondly, he investigated a number of vendors until he found the foremost cover for the most reasonable expense. (This was far more complicated than one would imagine.) Finally, Jason installed the cover, and properly disposed of the old one. He refused to send us an invoice until we assured him that we were pleased with the outcome of his work. What an utterly refreshing experience! What a fine gentleman and and fair-minded businessman!

Week after week Jason at Aquia Pool & Spa helps manage our pool. A few weeks ago he helped troubleshoot a broken vaulve, he sent us the estimate right away and fixed it the following week. When I had a new pool owner question and called Jason after hours, he went above and beyond and helped walk me through the steps to remedy the problem and came the next day to fix the problem.

When Jason first came to check out the equipment he was very professional and thorough. He then spent about half an hour with me explaining what the problem seemed to be and recommended a maintenance/repair plan that would help us identify the specific source of the problem. His plan was less aggressive than other recommendations I received and ultimately, proved to be very practical. He answered all my questions thoroughly, in plain English, and without talking down to me (as two other pool professionals had done.) The equipment's noise level went down. It also lowered its energy use. The pool has never looked better. I trust Jason.
