Exceptional--Everything works fine now.

Well. He did what he said he would do, in a timely manner and was responsive. He will be my go to computer tech now.

I don't use them regularly anymore. Their prices are high. They do come out to the home. He is a very nice man, but I am not sure he is worth the price. He is responsive, and a very nice guy, I just think he needs to help people who have more money than I do. He is very punctual. I use somebody else now.

Appears to be competent with technical items. But very impatient with questions. Not a good teacher, which is what I needed.

Contacted Appstar to fix a problem with my laptop computer. My call was answered promptly and the owner/ operator, Mr. C. Lindley came the next day, as scheduled, to work on the problem. Within 10 min.s he had identified the failure and we agreed upon the most favorable solution. Mr. Lindley returned at my request to transfer data between computers and also downloaded several programs from the internet to my system. Mr. Lindley quickly and intelligently communicated with me from start to finish. He is very easy to contact and very obviously is an expert in his vocation. I am more than satisfied with the work he performed as well as the price. I certainly recommend Appstar for anyone with computer issues and I will definitely contact Mr. Lindley regarding any future problems of this nature.

They provided good service. I felt cheated because it went from $66 to $566 so I was taken back. Everything was there so I went with what he told me. I think they need to let people know the price before they come out. I would use them again, but I would be firm with them. They responded well.

My computer sould not power up. I called Chris and he came the same day. Within 30 minutes he had my computer working. Chris is absolutely awesome. He is timely, very professional and the pricing is very affordable.

I could not connect to the internet so I called Chris Lindley. He came the same day, diagnosed the problem and got me back on line in a short time. He also updated the laptop and put the Start Menu back on it because it disappeared when my laptop updated automatically to Windows 8.1. Chris is professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He gave me the Angie's List discount, and I will use him again in the future.

I called to inquire about their repair services. Chris was very polite. He said they even come to your home to repair your computer. The price was reasonable so I asked when he could come do the repair. He was here in an hour as promised. Was very professional. Completed the requested repair of replacing my broken laptop fan (I already had the replacement part) and was done in about an hour. Easiest repair job I've ever paid for. Well worth every penny. Laptop is working great. Thanks Chris!

Absolutely stellar resource for all problems related to home computers. Chris installed a new SSD hard drive and found/fixed several other problems with an aging desktop PC of ours, which is now serving as a fantastic media computer. We were so happy with his help that we just had him back to tune up a barely-functional laptop, which is as good as new now. Well worth his (very reasonable) fees to keep older computers running well rather than replacing them all the time.

Called before arrival, and stayed until all was completed. He was here for over 3 hours. I had a number of things for him to work on...I have 3 pcs, and all had a problem. He also was able to address issues with other devices.

Chris came out on Friday and had the computer back to us on Monday. Very knowledgeable and professional. Would definitely use him again and will recommend him to others.

Chris was like a friend. He was easy to reach and had to take my laptop 3 times to find out the very unique problem. He was honest and cooperative and trustworthy. I would call him again.

The provider arrived roughly within the designated time frame. He worked on the computer and tested it for 2 hours. He updated the computer's graphics drivers and the envidia one. It seemed to be working fine, still a bit slow though. Over the next few days is did start to blue screen again so my husband called the technician again. He came and picked up the computer. They agreed that he would wipe it and do another clean install. We just got it back yesterday (again, he showed up a little later than expected). My husband noted that it was running faster already. He plans on reinstalling all the programs today. We were not charged extra for the repeat service.

The above speaks for itself! Chris knows his stuff and is very fast.

This was the second time I used Chis' service. The first time was on June 16 when Chris cleaned up a laptop that was running slow and was using a version of Internet Explorer that was no longer being supported under Windows XP. During the process of cleaning up the out of date laptop, Chris suggested I purchase a new computer with a current version of Windows and the software that would keep my computer running in a efficient manner. While at my home Chris helped me search for a new computer and I settled on an All-In-One which I ordered the next day. Following the receipt of my new computer I had back to help me in setting up the security software and to make certain all features of my new computer were being set up correctly. After Chris had everything set up, he gave me an overview of Windows 8.1. Chris is the ultimate professional and is very knowledgeable of computers and the different operating systems. Chris is the person I will always call when in need of computer support.

The entire process took a minimal amount of time and the computer worked fine when the work was completed. I did have an additional problem and Chris logged-in remotely and fixed that issue as well. I did not realize that there was an Angie's List Coupon for his services.

My computer was practically dead. Went on Angie's List and decided to use APPStar. David was prompt and friendly. At first he was worried that my hard drive was going out but after running some test he determined it was fine. My profile was corrupt. He rebuilt my profile and had me up and running in no time. I would definitely use APPStar again.

Appstar gets 10 stars! Chris is awesome! For a "technology guy" he actually speaks "normal everyday English"! This very non-teccy grandma actually understood what he explained and that's sayin' somethin'! I watched his hands fly while driving the mouse and I'm convinced he's a genius at what he does. Believe me when I say that the hack we had was very serious. Chris fixed everything and gave us a peace of mind that is beyond price! I recommend Chris to anyone and everyone! We seasoned citizens may not understand all the workings of a computer but you can trust Chris Lindley in all respects to take care of any problems you have and you'll learn something in the process. I can't recommend him strongly enough! I told him he was "adopted" now and part of the family. He's our go-to guy! Thanks, Chris!

He was great! He helped me come up with a very cost-effective solution for my computer as well as tune-up my laptop. They were very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again!

Chris gave me an appointment for the day after I called him, even though it was Saturday. He called when he was on his way and showed up when he said he would. Within minutes of sitting down at my computer, he diagnosed the problem and corrected it. He was very nice as he answered my questions and showed me how to do some things I hadn't known how to do.

The guy was fine and I appreciate his work. He is very patient with me because I am not of the computer age. He always instructs when he comes and is on time and comes when he says he will. I found them on Angie’s List a couple of years ago and I have been using them since then.

Chris arrived on time and returned my computer in the promised time frame which was both reasonable and thoughtful considering that I had been w/o a computer for many days.. He is competent, friendly, professional and open to sharing his expertise and opinions. He made many useful suggestions which I will follow. I would definitely recommend his services.

Nice young man. Very personable and professional. The only problem I have is that my laptop is still not functional, but it was not part of the offer. I hired him to do further work on two additional computers

Sorry, don't remember the price. It was a Big Deal. Don't remember the date. I gave a review by phone long ago, but I keep getting requests to review again. What happened to the phone review? I gave a very positive review which I thought was adequate.
