Three months later, the fridge stopped cooling properly. I grabbed my receipt thinking, "Great, it's still under warranty." Nope! The warranty was only for 60 days. After that, you're on the hook for a $30 trip fee and retail repair rates. So they violated me twice in a 3-4 month period.
I'll never go to the Appliance Liquidation Outlet again. Plenty of shops have better prices and a better warranty.
"We understand that Mr. [member name removed] was not happy to have a repair so soon. That is not our wish either. We try our best to provide a quality used product. Unfortunately we can not know how every electrical component is going to behave several months down the road. Our warranty is one of the best in town and is clearly stated in the store and on the receipt. As a courtesy to Mr. [member name removed], we covered the cost of the thermostat which was not under warranty. We were prompt to his need for a service call and the technician and office staff were polite and respectful. No one enjoys an unplanned expense."
