Andy's Sprinkler Drainage & Lighting

They arrived at the pre-scheduled time. They were punctual. The young man was pleasant. However, that's where I stop with positive's on this review. Twice they tried to charge me on top of the coupon price. All that happened is a basic review (which I can do and have done) and attempt to upsell. I was handed a list of the 'sprinkler heads' that stick and an approximate cost to replace and service those heads. They never addressed my problem zone - they provided no insight and said it worked fine. After they left, I turned my system back on, to see and the 5th zone wasn't working. All that was checked was that the sprinkler heads were not damaged and that the main water feed was working. I fixed my 'sticking' sprinkler heads with a little marine grade grease to ensure they slid more freely. The money spent on the coupon wasn't worth the service they performed. I wasted that money on something I'd already done.

In the house where we are living - the problem was a leak in one of the sprinkler heads. They replaced all the heads and the leak continued. We made an emergency call, the technician came, and suggested we call the company for further evaluation of the backflow system. We started out with a leak and a sprinkler system that we couldn't use, and now we had paid $600 total and had a leak and a system we couldn't use. Another technician came out and replaced all the sprinkler heads. The leak continued, and he tried to tell me it is normal to have a little leakage after the system ran. I pointed out that the leak had started when the system wasn't being used. He finally looked further and found a valve that needed to be replaced. In the rental house we agreed that the sprinkler system should be revamped. They were supposed to give us an estimate, and they have never responded.

At the time I was satisfied with the service. Now I realize they adjusted 3 of our front sprinkler heads wrong. They were not watering the area needed and the spray was going too far out.

Folks came to inspect our system, explained issues they found verbally, wrote up a hand-written diagnostic, and sent a digital follow-up report via e-mail. Sounds great, right? Except... none of these reports said the same thing... it was as if the talk, handwriting, and typed versions were for three different properties! A lack of consistency up-front has me questioning services that might be provided, so I'll be looking elsewhere and feel this was a complete waste of time with Andy's.

It went extremely well. At the beginning of the system check, the sprinklers would not come on in the zones. Joe diagnosed a stuck main valve but he was able to get it unstuck without having to replace it. They were able to accomplish all the needed work quickly with parts they had on their truck.

Andy's did a great job. They were very professional. They explained everything that they were going to do before they started the job. They had a truck that had plenty of supplies to fix whatever needed to be fixed. When they replaced the sprinkler heads, they made sure to clean up after themselves. They did a great job in replacing the sprinkler heads and re-patching the grass.

weren't here for more than 30 minutes. can't believe that 3 sprinkler heads would cost $157! and that putting a new rain/freeze sensor another $200.63! the heads are less than $10! [*** Link removed ***] and the sensor (wireless) is less than $70! [*** Link removed ***] Additionally, I asked for a quote to run a 6" deep X 40' trench from the house to the shed so that i could bury a new electric line. Chris told me it would take 3 hours for two grown men to do the job!!! Which he said would be approximately $250 to $300! Good grief.

Bailey and his crew were friendly, punctual, responsive and professional. Once the identified work was reviewed and work approved, the team went straight to work, completing the job in about an hour. Great guys to work with.

They replaced several heads that were not functioning or were no longer doing the right job. I had changes made to the yard, so sprinkling patterns needed to be changed. they also lifted some up so that they could function correctly. they were efficient at their work and were very good about making sure I understood what needed to be done. I will bring them back after I have more work done in the yard.

They did really good. I guess their pricing was a little high and I had to call them to follow up on the deal.

John and his helper were on time, professional and kept me fully informed as to progress, diagnosis and pricing. They identified another problem, but let me know that expense could wait awhile. I will go to them for the master valve. Yes, they are probably not the cheapest but they were understandable with a fully stocked truck. They warranty their work for a year. I'd rather pay a bit more and know what I'm getting. Thanks to both of the tech's as it was very cold and very wet.

This was a big deal purchase. They came out and did a pretty good job, but their additional costs for what they wanted to have done were, in my view, way outside of the price for others who I have used since then. So the guy came around and did a good job doing exactly what was on Angie's List, but when he quoted me the price for additional work that I was asking to have done, they were way high. I did not have them do the extra work. I was surprised that they were an Angie's List provider that they were really high on the non-Angie's List work that they were quoting.

Great service. Very professional. He showed me areas that I need to keep an eye on and quoted me the price for if those areas needed to be fixed. Overall, I would recommend this company to my family.

The service for the big deal from Andy's Sprinkler was okay. There were no other additional charges other than the big deal price. I had to wait some time for them as they said they were just really busy, it is a busy time of the year and that is understandable. They were very punctual.

I purchased the tune-up, but I knew I would need many things done, as my sprinklers had not worked for years and I had many leaks. They spend several hours checking the system, and then gave me a detailed description of what needed to be done and the cost. They listened to my needs and focused on the areas that I wanted taken care of. They worked several days getting it all done, including installing an area that had been taken out when we had a pool put in. The work was done well and I believe the price was worth everything I had to have completed in a yard that is more than an acre.

Went well . He replaced 4 sprinkler heads and we had to replace one of the station units. Guys were very knowledgable and friendly and kept me informed every step of the way.

First off, the head person, Chris, was very professional. He was extremely polite and friendly throughout. The issue I had was that there are very expensive. Too expensive really. For their service, they really need to come down on price. They noted that my sensor was not operational. They were going to install a new one for $200 and change. A sensor itself costs between $30 to $45 at home depot and you can get cheaper ones online. The time to install it is not that long. Then, he noted that I should replace one of my heads. It should be a little taller. I asked how much they would do it for ... I was thinking $20 max. They quoted me $55. Unbelievable! Heads costs between $6 and $14. I declined. I have used other companies to do the same job and they are much more affordable and the service is just as good.

Everything went well. We have for years had problem with big rains getting water in the house. Obviously loss of sleep and ulcers. Chris and his crew came 3 times and did drainage to remedy this. He put in an 18 inch inlet and 5 4-inch inlets. These all feet thru 4 inch pipes into a 6 inch pipe that flows to the street. The last phase was to put a dry creek bed that protects from the water coming in from the houses behind and above us. IT takes this water and feeds it across the back of the yard above a berm the constructed. This water feeds thru the main part of the yard to a slope to the side street. That part of the yard looks like a creek at times, but that is by design. The water flows great and does not approach the house. Tonite we had 3.15 inches in 1 1/2 hours. Before the drainage we would been pulling carpets and bailing water. Everything so far is working as designed Thanks Chris
