Andy's Sprinkler Drainage & Lighting

Selected Andy"s from Angie's list after reading customer ratings/comments. Called central appointment number on a Thur and was able to schedule visit for following Mon (checked other sprinkler companies and each had min of 2-week waiting period). Andy's scheduling office even called the day before to remind me of the appointment. Brian and his helper showed up on Mon right on time. He called prior to arriving to let me know he was on his way. Brian was friendly and very professional. We have a 7-zone sprinkler system installed in 1994. We did a walk-around of our 7-zone sprinkler system, and I pointed out the problem areas (I was aware of). Brian took notes and then examined the overall system. He identified another sprinkler head that was leaking, and made recommendations to change out some of the other sprinkler heads (and relocate one) to improve coverage. He then gave me a proposed estimate to complete the work, and I agreed. He and his helper worked steady and were finished in about 2.5 hrs with no problems. They accept credit cards also. I will definitely go back to them to service our system.

Brian arrived with 2 helpers and checked system, adjusted heads and nozzles as needed. 1 rotor head was replaced, 1 lowered and 1 was moved for better coverage. 5 heads were capped that were no longer used. Work was done in 2 hours and yard was left with no evidence of digging. Received a copy of the bill in email. Had to call after a week for the estimate which Brian gave over the phone and told me a copy would be sent but has not arrived yet.Estimate seems high but I will compare with others first.

Overall great experience. Only downside is they gave me a range from 1-3 and got there at 2:45 which is better then most companies that give ranges and still show up late so not a big deal. My previous sprinkler company that did check when we bought home 8 months ago couldn't find the shut off for the sprinkler systerm seperate from main line. Bob found it within 5 minutes of looking. Before doing anything he told me how much it would cost for the parts which previous company just told me how much they charge per hour and then found out with bill they charge high prices for parts which I didn't feel like Andy's did. They even worked till dark to finish the job about 7 p.m. Again a great experience and will be sure to use them for any future needs.

I called to set up an estimate and was disconnected in the middle of call. I called back and was told that all representatives were busy, but that they would take my name and number and give it to one of their estimators, who would return my call later that day. They never called back, which is what I expected, based on my experience to that point. This isn't a damning report, by any means, but this did give me a sense of their responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail. They might do great work, but I'm not taking the chance.

Brian and his helper checked all sprinkler heads for coverage in all zones. They found some that had been buried by landscapers, and replaced some that were not working right. They were prompt and courteous and left the area neat. He had suggestions for future improvement. I would certainly call them again when needed.

Overall the experience was great. They constantly communicated with me in regards to what needed to be fixed/adjusted. They only carried out the service that I desired. Extremely professional and efficient.

In hind sight I would think that this companywould be prepared for any age system and have the proper tools. I think the young man misunderstood about putting flags out. We have a rescue dog being trained and her areas not to go in to have flags. I didn't want any flags put out as it totally confused the dog. I probably should have made it more clear. Anyway, an adustment should be an adustment, nothing more, nothing less.

Overall I was pleased. Andy's Sprinkler, drainage and lighting showed up on time and received step by step information on his process.

This is the second time I have called them out so they are currently working on an issue. They have been very responsive and provided help within hours of my first phone call. Have not completed yet so I don't have a current cost. They came out in August 2011 due to sprinkler system not turning on. They came out the next morning after contacting them and spent hours working on and checking out the system. Very professional and friendly to me and my children. The bill was extremely reasonable at ~$118.00. I had another company out last year just to check the system and they charged over $300! Very happy with the service and would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

Two of Hall's employees were here when they estimated they would. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They worked diligently and tried everything they could, but could not solve the problem. It turned out that the problem was not in the sprinkler system itself. They recommended a solution (we need a plumber) and were truly sorry that they could not fix the problem. I appreciated their honesty. I will not know the total price until they bill me.

I spent around $350 on that work. They did a great job. They were very responsive. I had no complaints.

I called them on a Friday and they came out on the same day because they don't work on Saturday. He told me how to cut off the water to the sprinkler system and made an appointment for Monday morning. They came out, got the work done quickly and I was very satisfied. The staff is outstanding.

Have used before and was happy with their work. They showed up on time and completed the work in the pouring rain. Came back to replace a head that was defective at no charge.

My sprinklers don't go out in the street anymore which is good. I felt it was quite expensive but I don't know the market. They did over charge me but it was an honest mistake.

HAD A FLOODING EMERGENCY CALLED AND THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO ASSIST IN THE CASE. NOT TIMELY. STATED THEY WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO GET TO MY WORK ODER UNTIL THE FOLLOWING WEEK.

We originally had a broken sprinkler head that was spewing a lot of water into the street. I called Hall and they told me that their schedules were full for the next 2-3 weeks. I subsequently found someone else to fix the leak but still had them check the back flow device since they were on the SAWS certified vendor list. We were disappointed that we couldn't get an earlier appointment.

The labor was already completed they just needed to come out and repair the leak. The hole was dug already for them. It took 26 days for them to call to make an appointment.

I called to get my sprinkler system checked. The man said they were about a week behind and they'd call me. I've yet to hear from them. That was about a week and a half ago.

Very competent and friendly repairmen. They had planned to simply secure my sprinkler system leak (somehow) and come back and finish the repair in a few days. This was OK with us. After seeing the problem they went on and fixed it right then. It really is nice to experience good old fashioned integrity during a repair service. A job done right the first time, no hassle, and no fuss.

They were thorough and the workmen were open to my questions and seemed informed.

Hall Irrigation Systems worked with us perfectly. They came out and helped us with the entire layout of our sprinkler system making sure we got the heads in the ideal locations. I also liked that they had an employee assist us with the installation as they helped us reach proper depth and had the lines connected. I liked that even though this was just a partial job, they took very good care of us.

Hall Irrigation Systems did very good work. I had another company out here that messed everything up, so I called this company and they came right out. They did the installation very quickly. They were very nice, well mannered people. The price was also very reasonable.
