Brian was a nice young man. We were pleased with the work he did for us.

Showed up on time. Checked all of my sprinkler heads and coverage. Also adjusted my water pressure. Very professional and knowledgable.

I thought it went great. The men were nice and professional and worked efficiently.

Came out, turned on the sprinklers, looked at them. Wrote out an estimate about what needed to be done and came back with a $1000 estimate of things that needed to be done. His partner already had the shovel out ready to dig!! They pulled up into a nice neighborhood, big house, nice cars, and auto matically they think you have money to burn. I am not doing the suggested recommendations. It was nonsense.

It went fine. The repairmen were running a little behind schedule but called several times to let us know their estimated time of arrival.

We were very pleased with the service and performance of Andy's Sprinkler and Irrigation. They were on time, professional and got the job done. We liked them so much, that we asked them to come back and upgrade our system to a current sprinkler system since we were in the process of selling our house.

Home owners should not wait 20 years. Came the same day called. Courteous, prompt. Cost more than expected, but well worth it in long run. Kept 4 so-so heads as is for now. Invited Andy's to return in Spring 2013 for followup, and stretch cost. Gave me estimate to choose amount work to be done at this time. Took about an hour, mostly to rebury and secure ground control system. Did I say I'm retired?and cheap? UPDATED OCTOBER 16, 2012: This is second review. I assumed Andy's technician knew firm was selected to deduct service call by $49 for tune-up from Angie's Big Deal list (balance due $45 inspection=$95). It was reason I selected them from many good ones. Customers should be alert that if any work is done, then Angie's coupon for "inspection" does not work and full price is charged. This is probably appeared in the small print and differs from other "Big Deals". Lesson learned: Read the "small print." Result rating reduced from 5 to 4, B.

Brian and his assistant arrived at the appointment time, got right to work and were very courteous and professional. He explained what was going right and what needed to be fixed.

Part of Angie's Big Deal to check our irrigation system which is 12 years old. They pointed out the issues, and did the repair work which was $198.64. He also provided an estimate of additional work to be done which was close to $800.00. I responded that we would consider getting the suggested repairs completed. We had been using our system for these 12 years with really no problems, but I thought I would take advantage of the Big Deal to tune up our system. On Saturday August 24th, we were unable to shut off our system--even disconnecting the whole thing. I attempted to call their after-hours emergency line with no luck. Their emergency line did not work. We were very concerned as we did not want to waste water or have an enormous water bill.I did call another vendor on Angie's List, and thank God he was able to instruct my husband how to turn the water off at the source.I called Andy's the following Monday morning and complained that emergency line did not work, and how we had to call another vendor for help. The receptionist said that she would pass the message to the person that I dealt with.The person called me back, and was not apologetic at all regarding our circumstances, and stated that he would come out and do any repairs that would probably be an additional $200.00 +. I responded that I would have to consult my husband (who by the way is always wary of vendors ripping off people). We did not have Andy's come do the repair and will have it done by another vendor who was recommended by a co-worker of my husband's.

The estimate to do that was given to me on the spot and I chose to do it right there and then and they were prepared to do it that day. Will definetely be using them in the future and referring them to our neighboors.

Andy's was on time and performed the services requested. Unfortunately I needed an expensive sprinker control for which I did not have time to price with other companies. But that was my decision and the I went ahead with the service because of the high rating on Angies list. I would definitely use this service again.

At first we didn't get off to a good start, which is the only reason I rated the company B on punctuality. I used their convenient online scheduling form and waited over a week with no response. Finally I decided to go ahead and call the office. I was told they didn't have a record of my online submission because only one person takes care of those and she wasn't currently in. However, once I did get a live person on the phone, everything went smoothly. I had an appointment a week later for an estimate. Chris came out to our house. He was a bit late because he was coming from Austin, but he called us to let us know why and give us an new arrival time. He did the inspection thoroughly and provided a written estimate by email within 24 hours. We accepted the proposal, and he got us onto the schedule the very next week. Workers arrived earlier than scheduled, worked hard the whole time, and completed the job as promised. An issue came up where we needed a little extra work done, but Chris discussed it with my husband and explained it so we understood why the price was going up $150. The workers also accidentally installed the wrong drain tops, but Chris replaced those himself when he came out at the end of the week to do the final inspection and caulking. While it was a bit pricey, I think we got what we paid for, and everyone was very professional. We had this done because our living room tends to flood during the rare times we get continuous rain in San Antonio. We'll see how the solution holds up the next time this happens, but I'm confident Chris knew what he was talking about because I talked with a friend who's a commercial landscaper, and he confirmed that everything was done the way he would've for the same issue. I would definitely recommend Andy's; just be sure you call and don't use the online scheduling until they get that glitch worked out.

I purchased a deal for a sprinkler tuneup which the technician completed. He recommended that some sprinker heads be adjusted and replaced two which I knew would need to be replaced. While he was here, I asked if he could add a new sprinkler head and he was able to do it on the same visit which I was very happy about.

I wound not use them again. I dislike the fact that he charged $120 to lift sprinklers and they said that we have six sprinklers. We ended to change sprinklers and supposedly he would take good care of that.

I'd use them again. They were professional, responsive, and provided a good value for the price.

Anyway, back to Andy's ... one of their techs showed up and performed the inspection. While inspecting, he repaired several heads that had become corroded/plugged with the calcium build up prevalent in this hard water environment. He also found one of my heads was leaking water below ground level. He dug down to where the head connected to the pipe and found that the joint had not been properly glued/attached. He left and got the materials he needed and fixed my leak. All of this was done for the $50 dollars I paid for the "tune up." He wouldn't take any additional monies. He returned to my house later in the day ... and also called me the following week ... to make sure the leak was fixed. Impressive!!
