Andy's Sprinkler Drainage & Lighting

Two gentleman (juan and another guy I can't remember his name) arrived within the two hour appointment arrival window. They would have been there sooner, however they first went to my old residence (we just moved). I showed them the box and remote control in the garage and they got to work right away. They had to replace 19 sprinkler heads (or whatever you call them) because they were either not tall enough to spray above the grass, spraying in the wrong direction, and outright not operating at full functionality. It took the guys about 3 hours to complete the 5 zones. They also set up my system to automatically spray on Tuesday mornings at 7AM (the designated day due to water restrictions). I was very impressed by their work ethic and professionalism. I will definitely be hiring them again!

Called to obtain estimate for installation of a sprinker system (front & back yard) and landscaping of back yard. Explained that I was prepared to pay for the estimate. Spoke to Vicky who informed me that they only give estimates and perform new services in October. Vicky stated that at this time they are only doing repairs. When I asked if they work with a company that gives estimates and performs new services during this time of the year (summer), she said they do not know of a company but that I'm welcome to call back in October and they will be happy to help me then. The only thing I could think was why would I ever want to go with a company that has to perform repairs of their work for so many months out of the year. Do they ever get a job right the first time??

They were neat and cleaned up after the work and advised me on some sprinklers I wanted raised that since my lawn had not been cut in about three weeks that I should not raise the heads.

Excellent communication and service by Ed Wiens. Explained and made some adjustments regarding Angies $49.00 "coupon". The coupon was a bit confusing. Totally satisfied with service, technician, and cost.

They arrived on time and told me exactly what they would do and what the cost would be. Thought they were very reasonable and they completed the job in less than 30 minutes. Will definitely use them again if the need arises.

Sprinkler system hadn't been professionally checked in years. There were heads sprinkling on sidewalks and driveway. Then about a week ago one of the zones lost pressure and very little water was coming out of it's heads. Just a coincidence that Angies List sent a Big Deal for a sprinkler system checkup that we took advantage of. I called the provider, Andy's Sprinkler, to make sure they covered the area we live in, before purchasing the coupon. They did and we made an appointment. Ed Weins and his crew showed up right on time and proceeded to inspect the system. Ed is very professional and knows what he's doing. He gave me a quote and went over all the repairs he recommended for the system, with me, before making any corrections. We found the leak that was causing the low pressure in zone 6 and they repaired it. He also recommended adding one additional head, at a later date, to a zone to make sure there was complete water coverage in that area. I also have a water hammer in the house when the system changes zones that Ed is going to discuss with the office to see if they can determine what the cause is. I am very pleased and satisfied and highly recommend Andy's Sprinkler & Drainage, Ed Wiens, for your sprinkler system analysis and repairs.

Ed walked through the whole system with me, answered my questions and gave suggestions about needed improvements and repairs.

They came out and turned on my sprinklers and looked at them and made sure they worked, which I didn't find very useful. I wouldn't use this service again. I was expecting them to make some adjustments to the sprinkler system since the deal was for a "tune-up".

Having to work w/ an owner-installed system, the team at Andy's did a great job reviewing options with me and then executing the best solution based on all the hurdles we were faced with.

They seemed alright to work with. I was happy with the appointment once they left.

The two men arrived as scheduled, were professional, and relatively quick. What upset me, is like the last service deal I purchased off Angie's List ended up costing me double what the deal was. I would have rather them showed me what to do and give me feedback and let me do it on my own which would have saved me $130.00. If the $55.00 dollars was just to run my sprinkler system, I am familiar with it, I could have done that on my own. I thought the deal brought more to the table. Wrong again with Angie's List.

I got them from Angie’s List. I only spoke to them on the telephone. They were very professional. They called when they said they would. They gave me a lot of choices. They did a really good job.

Ed and his assistant arrived at the agreed time and we discussed the two problem areas I was aware of. After system check out, he briefed me on the additional problems they found and the cost of repairs. They replaced two pop-up heads, and two rotor heads, They also repaired a PVC line and replaced a swing pipe connector for another pop-up head which was blocked. Additionally, they straightened 3 heads and replaced a riser. They were very professional and I was pleased with the results. I will use these folks again.

They did a great job and system runs efficiently now. Will call them in the future.

I had a leak around a sprinkler head and I had one sprinkler company tell me that it was not a sprinkler problem after a plumber said it was. I called another plumber and they again said it was the sprinkler. Each one of these had a cost. So I called Andy's they come out and told me that it was indeed the sprinkler and that they would have to find and probably replace the valve. They found the valve quickly dug the hole made the repairs and corrected the problem. They also checked all of the sprinkler system and gave me a quote on moving several sprinkler heads that were behind plants and I have made an appointment to have that work done. They were efficient, courteous and best of all were professional and knew the business. I am very pleased.

All repairs completed along with great customer service. Have dealt with other sprinkler companies before but Andy's has been the best. They not only setup an appointment day/time but also provide a reminder the day before. Our crew showed up on-time with all tools and parts needed to complete the job. The actual work was done efficiently with no time wasted. I will definitely use them again from system checks to full replacement.

His crew of three accomplished all of the work in about 45 minutes--did a great job. I was very satisfied with their services!

Didn't use provider. My partner had scheduled with someone else. Someone from Angie's list called me to follow up and I told her that I didn't use the service.

The service was fine. The price seemed a little expensive, but there was no question about the quality of the work.

Another great job. We used Andy's last year (2013) to install underground drainage. Unfortunately because of the summer heat and us being out of town during August, we lost the grass that was installed. We had Andy's come in and give an estimate for resodding. This included removing the old sod, tilling the whole area, bringing in compost to mix with the soil. They also made sure the sprinkler system was working correctly with good coverage. We made some plan changes during the work to include a bed with river rocks. The crew was not phased by the change, though it created more work and did it exactly as we wanted it. We have had it in for about 3 weeks now and it is looking good (last weeks rain helped). Chris has been by a few times to check the grass. That is important to us as we are always leary of new grass, as it is never warrantied. Thank you for another good job.

Our $49 irrigation tune up resulted in $500 worth of recommendations. I'm not sure how I feel about that,or if this was a good value for the money. But I can say we now get better coverage & we haven't had any problems.

Andrew and his partner called as advertised 15 mintues prior to arrival, showed up on time, listened intently to my desires and situation, and got right to work. He gave me an estimate before starting work, and they quickly knocked out the work. Of note, during one of the sprinkler head replacements, they accidentally broke one of the lateral lines causing a leak when they powered up the system. They spent extra time and effort repairing the line and ensured that there were no further leaks/puddling. As with any sprinkler work, the work is not cheap. But, I don't have to accomplish the work, I am not experienced in repairs, and their work comes with a one-year warranty. This project would have taken me at least two days to accomplish.

Nice enough man. Professional. Staff only spoke Spanish. Most of the checks were done while I was inside, so I'm not sure if all sprinklers were actually checked. I say that because additional adjustments on the spray angle were made when I did a walk-thru on what was done. I'm not sure if I got $49 worth of service, or maybe I just expected too much from this "deal". It was noted that my sprinklers heads were too far below the grass line and needed to be raised. But that was going to cost $600 so I said no for now.
