Description of Work: Put an expansion joint on brick wall. Repaired patio gap.

Description of Work: Mr Alvarado responded to my initial phone call the same day. Came by that same evening and gave me an estimate to rebuild the rock wall on my planter across the front of the house. Tarps were laid on the sidewalk to pile the dirt removed and covered with plastic in case of rain. Mr Alvarado and his employee arrived on the day stated that he would do the job. The job was completed the same day. The dirt was returned to the planter a few days later in order to let the mortar cure. Would strongly recommend Alvarado Masonry to everyone.

Description of Work: tore down and replaces 1/3 of the front of my house brick. rebuilt it back up and repaired some other cracks that were showing. clean up afterwards and very happy with the work. i will not hesitate to use them again!!

Description of Work: told them i needed work that day and he came out only to say he would not be available for 2 weeks. Started peeling off mortar and I ask him to stop. Said he would meet me in and hour and a half so we started eating dinner only to call me 30 minutes later to say he was at the rental home. dinner was ruined...salad.

Description of Work: He did nothing. He did not reply to my request for estimate. I sent him photos, per his request, both by message and email and called him several times but he did not respond.

Description of Work: Person gave me estimate by email initially after I'd already sent him picks of job. Then he came out to view job and took measurements even though I'd already given them to him. He said he'd follow up with me to do job either by email or phone call. I never heard a word back from him ever again. Complete waste of time. Contractors love to waste your time despite already having measurements and pictures.

Description of Work: Brick mailbox. Mr. Alvarado was very profesaional. He kept me updated as to when the work would be done. He matched my house brick perfectly. His crew was efficient and professional.

Description of Work: We need several (about 6-10) bricks replaced on fireplace after having a gas valve replaced. Called on a Saturday and Mr. Alvarado came by that afternoon after completing a job a few miles away to give me an estimate. Gave us an estimate that I initially thought might be a little high but then I saw that he was having to repair a larger area than I thought was damaged by my plumbers replacing the valve. He did the work the next day in a couple of hours and was on time and cleaned up with vacumn afterwards. Outstanding!!!!

Description of Work: We had repairs done to cracks in the mortar of our home's stonework. The color match on the mortar is outstanding. We will definitely call them again if we need similar services.

Description of Work: OMG......my patio hasn't looked this good in years.....Alvarado Masonary Construction & Remodeling repaired cracks and repaired areas where the concrete had started chipping and deteriorating on my outdoor patio and my outdoor cement grill over the years.....they were professional and timely and I could not be more please....they exceeded my expectations 100%.... I will use them again and refer them to anyone who is in need for their services.
