He did not charge me for materials, though he had indicated he would. My only suggestion for improvement is that he perform a little clean-up of the ground below where they worked. Mr. Alvarado is a conscientious fellow and would call upon him again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were great. I didn't have any issues and I would use them again.

Very nice people, Mr and Mrs Alvarado. Mr. Alvarado gave me a quote of $320.00 to repair my rock wall. He came with his crew early in the morning and the job was finished in a few hours. He took care to match the mortar to the rest of the wall, he cut the vegetation around the wall to get close, and he cleared the mess around. I then asked Mr. Alvarado to give me a quote on replacing my fence. I am not able to do it right now for budgetary reasons, so he helped me to re-enforce vulnerable areas in the meantime, using his own time and material, for which he did not charge me. He also realized that a couple of my tree branches were leaning heavily on the roof, so he climbed and cut them off without charging me again. I felt that I needed to show my appreciation so I paid them above the quoted amount. I am pleased that with Angie's List I was able to find the Alvarados. I will certainly recommend them and, if needed, use their services in the future.

He was great. I am so impressed. He's very polite. I even have a crazy dog and he had no problems with her. I'm going to use him again. He also discovered that one of the supports on my porch wasn't secured correctly. He repaired it as well as adding a new post because it was rotting. He also replaced the brace and screws and painted it. He returns your calls and always comes when he says he will. He even got rid of a tree limb for me that the trash company wouldn't remove.

He came out and did an estimate that was very professional. It was fair and precise. Everything went smoothly, he arrived on the appointed time and did the work in one day. I called him and made an appointment. He was on time did another excellent job with no problems. He remebered me and the work he had done and refused to charge me cause he felt it should have been done the first time. I would have paid he cause it was an honest oversite.

I called to get a quote on a stone mailbox I accidentally knocked over. I spoke on the phone with Mr. Alvarado, and he said he could come over that afternoon to quote the job. We agreed on a time and met at the house. He quoted the job at a bit more than I had anticipated, so I questioned the pricing. He gave me a thorough explanation of what all it would take to complete the job (time, materials, labor, etc.). After his explanation, I thought his price was very reasonable as it became evident to me that I did not not much about masonry. At this point, I was very happy to have an expert to explain what would need to be done. He said he would be back the next day to complete the job, and I could mail him a check upon completion. The next day when I came home, Mr. Alvarado was just finishing up the work with his partner. The mailbox looked wonderful, and it was completed in a timely manner- I could not be happier. We were extremely pleased to have found Jose through Angie's List and highly recommend his services. He was prompt and punctual in providing an estimate for the project that was very reasonable and very sensitive to our need to control costs. On installation day, Jose showed up early and ready to work h****** the project all day till after 6pm when they were finished. All work was accomplished professionally. He is absolutely dedicated to customer satisfaction--he continually sought feedback as to how we wanted certain things and when we changed from a dry-stack to mortared look, he made sure we were satisfied...with a genuine smile. Jose even came back on the following Sunday to touch-up some paint work on the adjacent wall borders and offered suggestions and guidance on possible sealing of the newly laid veneer stone. Overall, we were very impressed with Jose's quality of work, dedication to customer satisfaction, and ability to give us the most value for the money we spend. If you need any masonry work...give Jose a call.

He not only repaired the joints and seams that I pointed out to him but he then went on to inspect the entire exterior finding three or four additional and repaired them at no additional cost. I was most pleased and impressed.

They had to work through a number of problems. The brick on the house was no longer being produced and it was difficult to find a close match for it. There were cracked bricks in both the front and back of the house so they removed extra bricks ffrom the back so the front of the house would have all matching bricks. Also, it was particle board siding that was on the house and they had to put in plywood so the stucco would adhere. Their work they did was first rate.

We needed some brick that was falling off to be removed from the front of our home before we could have some foundation repairs done.

They removed the flagstone from the area I needed and replaced the effected area to it's origional condition. Very nice, you would never know there was any work performed in that area.

Very well. Jose was prompt, courteous and professional. He explained in detail exactly what he planned to do and proceeded to do so. His attention to detail is commendable. I would certainly use him again.

Made repairs that were requested at right price and in a timely fashion

Mr. Alvarado quoted the job quickly and started the job on the day he promised. His quote was reasonable and his work was excellent. He worked for three days on the wall and it looks fantastic. Mr. Alvarado showed up prepared to work and worked nearly non-stop. He was very friendly and professional. My wife and I couldn't be happier with how the job turned out. I would hire him again for any stucco or masonry work that I need. He made our lousy wall look excellent.

Alvarado came to give an estimate on time; he called ahead of time so I was expecting him. He gave the place a good look, gave me an estimate, I accepted it, and his company sent workmen to do the job on the appointed day. They arrived early and were done by noon. Mr. Alvarado came back in the evening to pick up the check. I was happy with the job they did: it looks much better now.

I could not be more pleased with Mr. Alvarado and his work. He provided: quick and courteous contact, scheduling to accommodate my busy work schedule, prompt arrival, great craftsmanship and especially thoughtful re-use of a stone, that saved me a bundle. He is my 'go to' man for any and all future repairs.
