Edgar and his crew did a fantastic job pouring a new concrete sidewalk for us. We could not be more pleased with the project. They were polite, knowledgeable and extremely professional in their work and in the cleanup after the job. Will use them again.

I hired them to pour concrete for my driveway, landscape my yard with new sod and sprinklers, and build a brick flowerbed. Edgar was always professional and communicated work plans with me and provided updates when the weather outlook was not good for working. Wonderful! Edgar and his crew were on time, courteous, did a great job, and were careful to clean up any spills. The job site was left very clean. Edgar was a joy to work with and communicated in advance each step of the job.

1. The provided started the job in May 2023. 2. He sent me videos and pictures of the job progress. 3. After the work was done, debris was left on the grass. 4. The provider left pieces of dried cement stocked to the sidewalk. 5. He took out a small tree and never replaced it. 6. He didn't take away the extra stones on the side of the house, as promised. 7. There is a crack on the new driveway. 8. When we went to San Antonio in December 2023, he agreed to finish the job. 9. The amount of the proposal was paid in full.

Showed up on time and did excellent work. Made suggestions that improved the project. Cleaned up after completion of work. Would definitely hire them again.

Incredible experience! Fair pricing and lower than other quotes! Repaired a section of our driveway (the right way with rebar and 5” pour), gate of fence, several sections of our fence! Work was completed quickly and I received picture updates along the way! Great experience overall, warrantied work, and would certainly hire again in the future!

Ohh, goodness. Edgar, the owner, was prompt and very eager to get our business. His price was fair for what he promised to do. The best part of the job was the end. The job took longer than we would have liked. Start to finish was 3 weeks. The initial pour was not the right color. We ordered a brown color and the team attempted to add it to the cement before pouring because the color would be less likely to fade. The result was a color that was very light with a pinkish/mauve hue, uneven and splotchy. The team offered to improve the color by staining with the original ordered brown color which was rolled atop the original. This turned out more like what was originally ordered although there is a couple uneven areas. The stain also ended up on our wood trim on the house which will need to be painted over. When this was pointed out to the owner we were told he would paint over that if we have the paint- which we said we do. There was a gallon of stain left over that was not used and we purchased- we were told that is ours and we will get that gallon- we did not. The backyard was a mess at the end of the job. The grass around the porch is now dead, there is debris and rock all over the yard. There are piles of dirt in the yard that need to be spread and redistributed. Again, when pointed out to the owner we were told he would clean all of the debris and redistribute the dirt which did not happen. The back gate where the team used to access our yard is now broken. The gate does not pull closed and latch easily like it used to, making it difficult to secure shut. In conclusion, nice end product. Work is a bit sloppy. Owner made a lot of empty promises. When you make this kind of investment you expect to get what you pay for and I feel like although we have a great back porch now, we have some landscaping and fence repair that we were not planning on needing.

I was given an honest and fair quote, Edgar was punctual and broke things down for me and my wife the best way possible. While I don't write updated reviews often, I feel like this review is warranted just in case you are looking for landscape work versus large scale scopes of work, i.e. patios and half circle driveways. Originally, I was overjoyed with Edgar. He was honest, communicated well and arrived on site to give me his opinions about the project I was taking bids on. Edgar was a dream at the beginning of my project and was honest enough to point out errors in my home concerning foundation issues and tile installation errors by my builder. Over weeks he earned my trust and I took his advice and informed my builder that due to his errors, I would be requesting a credit to my build to allow a third party vendor to complete certain projects. Because the build of the house has been delayed at multiple points, the builder agreed and I turned my full attention to Edgar to make my vision come to life. What I soon gathered was you can't show someone a Pinterest photo and expect them to be able to execute a dream. In this case, not even come up with a estimate or bid to bring the dream to fruition. I met with Edgar on multiple occasions, and even came up with a vision board. Once the ball was in his court, the project seemed sketchy in detail from the start. I waited weeks for a bid so that I could accurately account for the project in my budget and submit to the HOA for approval. Finally, I emailed him and requested the bid after weeks of not hearing from him, to which he responded that I would have them over the weekend. That following Thursday after no bid or communication, I released him with a text that I was disappointed in his lack of communication and that after allowing him to level my yard, he would no longer be needed. He requested a call, but I declined as once you've been released, there's nothing for me to discuss. He did start a process of adding base rock to my yard that now has started to wash away. After speaking to several vendors, I was informed that this process was not needed at the moment because it will be dug up when I install my driveway, the same driveway I was waiting on an accurate Bid for Edgar to provide. I am providing Edgar a 3 instead of a 2 because our working relationship started out as a great experience. He knew that I had already encountered scrupulous contractors and went out of his way to keep me informed. He knew that I was months away from closing and required this information so that I could submit it to my HOA for approval. His absence and lack of communication forced me to go another route with my project because his vision or bid never made it to a concrete stage. My only request as a consumer is that you be clear with him about your timelines and needs and require hard concrete examples of what he can do. I even changed my project to look like something he had recently done on his Instagram because I feared the job was out of his scope. But alas, it all worked out in the end as a new contractor has accepted the job, while more costly, I hate to say sometimes you get what you pay for. I hate that a great working relationship had to end this way. He gained my trust, but in the end, if someone is showing you that they may not work out, TRUST your gut. Ask the hard questions, get multiple bids and verify everything

I really like this company! I called them because on my 1/3 acre lot, the grass has pulled back from the fence line, the bed borders, and the sidewalk. I was going to buy the sod myself, and have it installed by a neighborhood guy who does yardwork, but kept getting rained out or the guy cancelled. Got an estimate that while was more than I thought it would cost:-), A&O was less than ABC Commercial Services who I use for HVAC and plumbing. Edgar is hands on, very responsive, and friendly. He told me that the St. Augustine Raleigh I was going to buy wasn't suited for the shady areas that needed replacement. He recommended Select which Milberger's confirmed was what I needed (but was rarely available to the general public to buy). Edgar and John worked hard to install a pallet and then when finished, I decided to order another pallet to really finish the job. Edgar got delayed one day because of a family emergency but communicated with me constantly. They got and installed the 2nd pallet on Wednesday, November 3rd, when the cold front and rain arrived. Edgar and John worked through the bad weather and were soaked when finished. Edgar asked if he could pick up the debris they took out before putting down enriched topsoil along with their tools/wheelbarrow....in a day or two. He wanted to let the area in the street dry, where he had put the topsoil, so he could come back and clean it up. Great, great service. I won't hesitate to use Alpha & Omega for future landscaping needs when they arise. Great experience!!

We hired Edgar to install a concrete pad for a future hot tub and install gravel landscaping around the area. He provided fair estimates and was extremely responsive. Overall we are very happy with the work and highly recommend his services.
