Allgood Electric

Our house was built in 1976, before cable was in the Boerne area. Our cable is all a jumble of inside and exterior wiring. We called Allgood Electric after our last conversation with the cable company. The thought of faulty wiring and fire is frightening. The cost was certainly reasonable. We were definitely pleased with Arturo's personality and work. We will be calling Allgood Electric and Arturo again.

We had lost half of our electricity to our home on Labor Day Week end. We called Allgood and within a couple of hours Troy, the owner of Allgood came to our home. He was so honest and worked so hard to help us determine the cause. We were not sure what had caused the problem. The problem seemed to have resolved itself while Troy was at our home, but right after Allgood left, the problem reoccurred. Allgood sent someone back out to our home the next day (Labor Day). Allgood talked with us for some time, they were so good to answer all of our questions and help us make the best decision. We felt that we was needed was to have our home completely rewired and Allgood gave us a fair price. All of the men that we worked with at Allgood were very professional and knowledgeable. There was one man from Allgood that we worked with and would like to comment on: Eli was so good, patient, efficient, good taste in helping me determine which ceiling fan would look best where, giving us ideas to consider further on down the road, clean (cleaned up after his work), professional, knowledgeable, courteous. Allgood has an excellent employee and I hope Eli is recognized and rewarded for his excellent work. Allgood was very good at letting us know what was going on and when they would be coming to work in our home. They were on time and ahead of schedule. It feels so good to have good wiring. It cost us a pretty penny, and it was a hardship to spend the money, but we feel fortunate to have found and chosen Allgood. Also, I work from home and I had been very nervous of having down time and they actually rewired our whole home with only a small down time from my job. I appreciate the fact that they listened and responded to our concerns.

Technician arrived punctually and listened to the tale. Of three possible faulty electrical areas, he selected the one needing repair and found this was the location of the short circuit. Repaired an exterior flood light approximately 20 feet off the ground and replaced the faulty conduit to that light. Smoke test...no worries! Obviously very knowledgeable, efficient, and proficient; he has done this before. I will certainly call Allgood Electric the next time I have an electrical service requirement. The company was fantastic from estimate to completion. Prompt, great pricing, great service and great finished job. Couldn't be happier. Would recommend highly to any one.

I called Allgood Electric on Monday and the service technician called me within an hour to set the time of his arrival to perform the work I needed. He was extremely pleasant on the phone and was the same nice person when he showed up, right on time. While in my home he explained his work, was very efficient and quick, wasting no time at all. I will definitely be using these people again and have already told my neighbors that I used Angie List and how satisified I am with the work that was performed. I was very comfortable with this gentleman being in my home.

I purchased a "special" from Angies List to install 5 recessed lights. I was happy to have the 4 I needed installed for the same amount. Arturo from Allgood was professional from start to finish. The work was done to our complete satisfaction and in much less time than I thought it would take. Good company!

Had problems with my AC, and the AC company came out; they did a couple repairs on the unit but also identified a faulty outlet in my attic that my HVAC plugs into, so they recommended I call an electrician. It was late on Saturday afternoon but I called ALLGOOD and they came out within 30 minutes and replaced the outlet quickly, making sure voltage was good, and stayed a bit just to make sure all was well. Professional and efficient, and I will DEFINITELY call this company again, and will recommend to my friends.

Troy called me the same day I contacted him, came out when he said he would, gave a fair estimate and had his team there close to the correct time. Troy also stopped by to check on the progress. I was so impressed with his service that when I needed electrical work done in another house I called him and the job was done in 2 days

All went well. I discussed the installation with Troy, the company owner or manager, as our computer and televison service comes through the telephone line to cable lines with ATT Uverse. He emailed me some additional info. They had not previously installed the telephone and cable protectors on this service. The electrician, Ron, made the installation and Troy arrived to review same.

Troy and his crew arrived at appointment time and began work. Very professional. Cleaned up areas as they went along. Did work performed as promised.

I contacted AllGood Electric on a Monday to receive a quote for installing five motion activated lights. After describing the project, Troy provided a quote over the phone. I scheduled the installation for the end of the week, Friday. For the installation, I was required to provide the lights with light bulbs. Troy made a few recommendations for wattage. On Friday, AllGood contacted me prior to the technician arriving. The technician described the work requirements in detail. It took him about an hour to change out three pre-installed lights and install and hang two additional lights. He was very thorough and did a great job. I will be using AllGood Electric again for my next electrical/lighting project.

The work they did was very good. They failed to come out on the first day, it was right after fourth of July weekend. The price was decent. But they do get marked down for not coming out on the day scheduled.

Got lights up and running which was the primary objective. Was pleasant and responded quickly to my "After Hours" call.

The problem was an easy fix. We then discussed the installation of full house surge protection that I had read about in Family Handyman. We also discussed replacement of 15 year old bathroom vent fans. I received an estimate of $650 for the full house surge protection with additional protection for the phone and cable lines. I requested they discuss the phone and cable issue with the other techs as the house has u-verse tv and internet which means the phone line is also the cable line. The price was fair and response was quick.

The work was done perfectly and the fans, chandeliers, and light fixture look great. They really dress up the home in a big way. My only complaint is that it was very difficult to make initial contact with anyone to set up an estimate appointment. I had to leave a message with an answering service during business hours, and it wasn't until three days later that someone returned my call. By that time, I had calls in to three other electric service companies. I very nearly went with another company, but Allgood called me back in the nick of time. I'm glad they did call me back, because the service was excellent! I'll use them again in the future, but I hope contact will be easier.

I contacted ALLGOOD through Angie's List but also because my daughter had previously used them (also thru Angie's List). They did not disappoint! I was extremely pleased with their work, promptness and professionalism. Their electrician, Mr. Ruiz, was courteous and very experienced. I explained what I needed done and he provided me with an itemized cost for each job. I consider the cost very reasonable for the work done.

We have noticed lights flickering in the house for a few weeks. I was afraid some wires were arcing that could have eventually caused a fire. Someone was here within an hour and quickly found the problem. He gave us tips on making sure our electric systems throughout the house were safe that we could do ourselves. I found them very courteous, reasonably priced and honest. I would definitely recommend them and won't hesitate to use them again!

I feel the person I spoke with was uninformed/ dishonest with regard to aluminum wiring in San Antonio.

Instantly saw the problem, explained it clearly (I already knew it since two handymen had passed on fixing it for me) then proceeded to fix it. He reminded me about the Angie's List coupon even though I had forgotten and already written him a check. Very honest!

After we had lights and fans installed by someone else, our hall lights went out. Since it was not done correctly the first time, we called Allgood. They were prompt, eliminated easiest solutions first, then addressed my concern that the problem was in the attic. He went into the attic to find that the fan/light did not have the proper mounting and that wire splices were not housed in proper metal boxes. Their price was high, but I felt confident that the work was done RIGHT.

I was extremely satisfied with the electrician who did the work and I would definitely recommend him without reservations. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was done correctly and even saved me some money by recommending that I did not need to replace the kitchen light (as I had been told) but only repair the loose connection. A very positive experience.

Everything went extremely well. We got the estimate from Troy and scheduled the work at our convenience. The electrician, Arturo, was punctual, professional, and quick. All work was completed in less than 2 hours. Art check the circuits to ensure all was well before he left. We were very pleased and impressed with the service we got from Allgood Electric and would not hesitate to use them again.

I went to replace an electrical exhaust fan in my home. My home was built in 1968 and to make a long story short, I really didn't have a clue what I was doing. Well, short of my house catching on fire, I kept tripping the main breaker and it turned into a mess. I looked on "Angie's list" and found a company called "AllGood Electric". They had a really great rating with plenty of pleased customers so I gave them a call. I wasn't disappointed. They came out and did a wonderful job with a better than expected price. The electrical serviceman was professional and very knowledgeable. He went right to work and knocked it out in less than an hour. I would highly recommend this company for your electrical needs.

The tech, "A.C.", was great! What I hoped would be easy, wasn't. But A.C. worked his hardest to do the job the most efficient & safest way, at the best cost. He had to go into the attic & drill thru a 1- 1/2 inch board as well as cut a small hole in the den wall to drill thru another one he couldn't reach thru the attic. He did it with hardly any mess! And he explained beforehand what he would need to do & asked if that was ok. A.C. made sure I understood all that he was doing & why it needed to be done that way. He was here for several hours, working hard. Very diligent. I was impressed with his ability & his customer relations with me & my elderly mom. Super professional & nice. A.C. did a great job of cleaning up in the den where he had to cut the hole in the wall, explaining how we could fix around the hole to get it back to the original look. Troy in the office was very nice & helpful when I called to set up the appointment, giving me information about the job so I could let my brother know what was going to be done. The price was very fair - something I greatly appreciate with the economy the way it is. Allgood did a great job! - fair price, quality work, was on time, very professional, great communication from the office & the technician to me. I would highly recommend Troy at Allgood and his tech, A.C., to anyone needing good quality electrical work in their home. Without a doubt. Thanks guys, for the the great job!! I contacted them by sending an electronic message through their website. I promptly received a phone call and they scheduled me for the next day. Ron showed up promptly at the set time and checked out a couple of minor issues, showed me how to solve a problem with my house alarm system then gave me a quote for the indoor switch. The job was scheduled for the following Friday. Ron showed up on time and had the work completed within 3 hours. Everything went very smoothly. I am very pleased with their responsiveness and their work. I plan to have them do some other work in the near future.
