Allgood Electric

He was a very nice man and has been a journeyman for the past 10 years but has been an electrician for 32 years. He was wonderful and very helpful.

I got the number for Allgood Electric from Angie's List and called on a Friday afternoon to make an appointment for an estimate related to some issues we have had losing power in one particular room during electrical storms. A lady took my information and said that I would receive a call from someone to make an appointment. By Thursday of the next week, I still had not gotten a call. I called again and left a voicemail, but still didn't hear back anything. I called another company from Angie's List, and they said they would head over and give me an estimate. They have people on staff just to give estimates. That alone tells me they have a lot of overhead and have to pass that along to their customers. The guy who did the estimate decided it was more than likely the breaker and gave me an estimate to change it without even testing it. The breaker alone was expensive. So, right after he left, I tried Allgood again. Troy answered. He explained that he'd been having problems with the answering service, and that day, two of his techs were out due to deaths in their families. From what I had gathered from other member reports, follow-up is not Troy's strong suit. However, he said he would come right over, and he did. He took at look at the breaker box, and he switched two breakers. The idea is to test and figure out if the breaker is bad or if there's a problem witht the wiring in the room itself. Since we have not had any thunderstorms of which to speak, we're still in 'test' mode. Troy didn't charge us a dime to do this, and it made the most sense. We'll call him to come and fix the issue once it's determined exactly what it is.

One electrician arrived on time and was able to complete one job and give an estimate on all jobs. Two men returned a week later and completed the rest of the work in one day. They were quick and professional. They completed the jobs exactly as I had requested them to be done. I was very happy with their work and would use them again.

WOW. Excellent service in a timely manner at a very reasonable price. I was contacted within two hours of my email submission requesting and estimate. A very accurate estimate was provided and an appointment was set up. Joe Manuel was my electrician and he showed up within the time parameter that was established. His work was very professional. He was very friendly and he explained things as he accomplished them. The total bill was very reasonable to the point that I don’t see how they made much profit on my job. In any case, I won’t need Angies List anymore to find an electrician as I already found one that I will use whenever I have any electrical problem.

They were fantastic. The guy that we had, he was good. It took him a while just to weigh the house. This house was just 2 or 3 year old and the way it was wired. He worked for us and he was very good. They were really good with what they did and it was something that if he did not have worked it out, then he would have called his boss. They let us know upfront and they were honest. He was nice and good. Their price was better compare to other providers with the extra work he had to do.

Very well done. Really made an effort to do everything as well as possible. Returned to make adjustments to kitchen light and replaced GFCI on exertior outlet when blew - both without additional charge. Only drawback (if you are not a morning person) they come very early in the morning. I will be calling again for some additional lighting work.

He was prompt and courteous. The owner of company was there himself to over see the electric work. I was very happy with service performed.

It takes me 7 minutes to get home from work. He arrived as I was leaving work and was done by the time I got home. He was very efficient and good and I was so happy and the price was so reasonable.

Electrician came out and gave us an estimate of work to be performed which was right on target. He was very knowledgeable, professional, prompt and efficient in his work. Price was higher than we expected, but we would hire them again.

I called them at 11:30 and they sent Art at 1:00 p.m. He repaired an elecrical heater, a two shorts in overhead lighting in the bathroom. He also replaced a a timer switch for our outoor lighting system. Art was very professional an answered the many questions I had. I highly recommend Allgood for any electrical work that needs to be done.

This is the third time I have used AllGood Electric. I am very pleased with their services. Each time they come out to my property they manage to exceed my expectations. All the workers are professional and extremely knowledgeable. I have been pleased every time. In fact, this company will continue to work to fix the issue to completion and will take extra time to explain the problem and how they fixed it.

Get home and no electricity in the portion of my house where my computers are and I need to work that night. Very important I get up and running. It was already like 6:00 p.m. and Allgood made a special effort to find someone to come out at that hour. Fixed problem efficiently and I was back online in no time at all. Price was 90 -- $115 minus $25 Angie's List discount that was applied without my asking. Very happy with service. Their quick response really saved my tail. Thank you!

Our house has complicated wiring and the two electricians who did the work were friendly, smart, and extremely efficient. We would have saved several hundred dollars if we hadn't screwed up when we told them where to pout the new bedroom cans. Another mistake we made, which we had them correct, was in buying the same size cans for the bedroom as the ones for the bathroom, so the new cans were not the same size as the existing ones. The price for correcting our mistakes was very reasonable. We also discovered after the main job had been completed that one of the outlets in the bedroom was a cold outlet and when it was off, by an unknown switch, so were lights controlled by two other bedroom switches. When I explained that problem to Troy Allgood, he understood immediately what I was talking about and said, "we'll make it however you want it." Music to my ears! I almost didn't use this company because my first contact was a message on the web site. Since I left the message on a Saturday, I assumed I would get an automated reply but got no response. I called Monday and was told someone would get back to me within an hour. Finally I did what I should have done in the first place and called Troy. He had been out of the office that morning but offered to come over within an hour to price our job. He was as good as his word, apologized for the communication problem and gave me a discount on his already reasonable proposal. Great guy and I will definitely use his company for our next job, but this time I will call Troy!

They arrived at 8:00, as scheduled, explained what they were doing as they worked. In addition, they cleaned up the areas (vacuumed) when the work was finished. I will definitely call Allgood Electric, whenever I need additional work done in our home. I'm sure all their technicians are well qualified, however, my experience with the work done by Ronnie Hall was excellent, and I would as that he be sent to do the job.

I have used them before as well. I am very happy with them. They are always professional and on time. I really enjoy using them. The work men that showed up were professional and got to work immediately. They were very efficient and thorough. I have always had a good experience with them.

Service was great. I needed someone quickly to change dryer plug so I could start doing my laundry! Didn't work out for the dryer, but I really appreciated Troy sending Eli out the same day I called for help. Eli was very knowledgeable and did a really good job in installing the chandeliers.

Ron provided a courtesy call when stuck in traffic and still showed up within projected timeframe. He replaced a bad arc fault breaker and was finished under 15 mins. Part was $150 and I was able to use available $25 discount coupon available through Angie's List. Thanks Allgood Electric for a job well done!

Went well, we have an old historic home and Allgood electricians have always known how to repair things in our home. Some of our wiring is original to the house (cloth-covered copper wires). They have always made sure we are safe.

AllGood electric came out and wired in the suspended lights for us. The complicated part was that the lights were on an outside wall. Some how he got that wire back up into the attic and split into two so that he could run wires to each of the suspended lights. He never stepped foot in the attic and didn't cut the walls or ceiling. He did a fantastic job.

I called several electricians on a Saturday morning. Most didn't answer...or even have an answering machine for that matter and the couple that did answer said they would see if they could find someone to come out and never called back. AllGood Electric answered! I caught the owner while he was out running his weekend morning errands, but he said he could be out shortly and he was here exactly when he said he would be. He spent an hour or so trying to find the problem. He found it and fixed it...and even switched out some old bulbs I had with new energy savers I had just bought. Very helpful, responsive, professional and friendly. And to my surprise, the bill was much less than I expected! I will definitely call him again when necessary.
