Hats off to Allgood Electric for their prompt replacement of my light fixtures! Along with the prompt service, we were enlightened about the variety of light bulbs from Joe Manuel, the technician. Unfortunately one of my fixtures was poorly chosen by me and had to be replaced. Joe came out the following week and replaced it at no charge. P.S. My husband and I are new to San Antonio and have purchased an older home. We are doing extensive renovations, so I went to Angie's List for referrals. I called Allgood Electric and they were professional, courteous and set up an immediate appointment. Arriving on time, Ronnie was the electrician who came to give the estimates. He was absolutely wonderful! He completed the estimates and prepared a very detailed proposal. He let me know about the promotions Allgood was offering, coupled with Angie's List promotions. I found their pricing to be very fair. (Which has not been the case with some of the other renovation projects.) We set up a time for the work to be done and he returned again promptly for our scheduled time. (Again, we have not had one contractor come on the scheduled time.) Ronnie was a true professional and finished the work in a timely manner, left his card and made me feel that Allgood would do anything to help us. Our experience with Allgood Electric was very positive and I would highly recommend them. In fact, I have several more items on our original proposal that I will be calling them to complete in the future.

Well, once again, what can I say. I had such a positive experience the first time I used AllGood; I called them back. This time, I had a different electrician [Joe]. He arrived within the time frame we had discussed. The first time I used AllGood, I had an AngiesList $25.00 coupon [which I used]. This time, I anticipated more expense, so I purchased their $200.00 coupon for $99.00. AllGood did all three ceiling fixtures [I supplied all of the fixturesfrom lowes]; plus he checked out and installed a new GFI for our swimming pool light. Very timely, professional. I hope I have no further electrical needs, but if I do, I will call Troy at AllGood. Very pleased.

The person who came out was very professional and did good quality work. They were efficient and got the job done; then left. It took about a day for them to get everything done because we had a lot of work to do. It was very professional and they stayed to their estimate when they charged us. Their price was reasonable for the work they did and we did not have any problems with them. I will use them again in the future.

We only had to wait a few days for them to schedule us, which they did at our convenience. They came when they said they would come, Troy's lead electrician Ron explained everything and took careful measurements. All good, just like the name.

The gentleman who came took the time to look at everything: the heater, the wiring, the circuit breaker box. He was thorough in checking everything before determining the problem.

Joey came and gave us a quote as scheduled and then set up 3 different appointments to complete the work. He was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable. We were impressed with his ability to finish all of the projects without having to call another for input. or advice. We would use Allgood Electric again and we willingly refer them to our friends.

Allgood is fantastic! They have a great web site and are excellent communicators! Both times they were able to come out the same day or very soon after the call. I had 2 celing fans and 4 lights installed. They were on time and installed everything without any problems. The second time I had to convert a110v to a 220v for my new microwave. They came out the same day and did a great job. Each time they were kind and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves and was very professional. I will be using them always for anything I need done that they can do.

I don't remember the specific date or amount. I remember it being more than I thought it should have been, but they were very accommodating and that made up for it.

Ron provided prompt professional service in taking care of my needs. Originally schedule the service over the phone and even though I had to reschedule a few times, Allgood was very accomodating to make sure I received the quality service when I needed it. Thank you.

Ron called and came over half an hour early, and I was delighted as my calendar had grown crowded since I made the appointment. He did the job in an hour. The installation was clean and professional-looking. He charged me less than the estimate and explained why, but I didn't catch the part about the electrical source that the estimate had been based on. What I got was that the cost stayed proportional to the value I expected to get out of the work. I'll try Allgood and Ron first without hesitation next time I need help with an electrical job.

Overall, I was happy Allgood Electrical met my high expectations from the numerous positive feedback they have been receiving. Ron and Jesse both were professional, did the work right the first time, and explained what they were going to do so as to keep me informed of what was going on. Their problem-solving skills were "spot-on". They explained to me other options we could take if they encountered any hindrances while running the wiring. I was impressed with the junior technician, Jesse. Although just recently hired with the company, he showed motivation and pride with his work. This just goes to show that Allgood Electrical knows what qualities they look for when hiring their technicians. I'm satisfied with what was accomplished today and would not hesistate to call upon Allgood again for my electrical needs.

Estimator, Joseph Manuel, was courteous, efficient, professional, and thorough. The work was subsequently done quickly and efficiently. I would definitely hire this company again, and I would recommend it to a friend.

I called Troy at Allgood, told him my problem. I stated I would go to Home Depot or Lowes and get a new fixture, but I needed someone to install it. He quoted me his prices and told me he could have someone out the next day [that was on a Monday, but I told him I could not be free, at home, until Thursday]. He immediately scheduled us for first thing Thursday morning. I received a call ahead of time from Dayne [sp?] prior to 08:00 am that he was on his way. He arrived promptly [actually early]. I showed him the fixture and the parts I had purchased. He again quoted the price. I told him I only use Angies List contractors, and told him I had a coupon, but could not print it out. He honored the coupon anyway [$25.00 off]. He did the work very timely, answered all of my questions [I usually have a lot of questions]. I showed him some other lighting issues we had [ceiling fan light fixtures]. He recommended another San Antonio lighting company that might carry those fixtures in stock or could order them. I will check this out later. If I purchase the light kits, I will surely hire Allgood to install them. This experience this morning was like a "breath of very fresh air"! I called my wife and shared with her the very positive experience I had working with Allgood. Very professional, fair price, punctual, responseive, etc. Highly recommend them!

I called Allgood and spoke to Troy, telling him my problem with the plug. He came early the next morning & by then the plug was working again. Troy checked out the plug, re-set it a couple of times to be sure it was working, and couldn't find any reason for it to turn itself off. He suggested that as we have an older home, it could be the wiring in the wall & that if it happens again, to call him back and we'd go from there. He was very nice and professional, and wouldn't charge us anything! He said that he hadn't done any work for us thus he wouldn't charge us anything!! Such a rare thing in today's world! I was and am very impressed with Allgood's business ethic and will definately use them again, as I have in the past with great results. And I highly recommend Allgood Electric and Troy to anyone needing electrical work! Thanks, Troy!!

The Installation went great and it took less than an hour to complete. We were very pleased with the appearance of the installed fixtures. We also requested and recevied an estimate for addtional electrical work which we will have Allgood Electric complete.

Joe Manuel Griego was the electrical technician who came to gave us an estimate and perform the job. He came on time to the first appointment, checked the situation in our house, wrote the estimate, and after our approval, he told us he would come back the next day. We got a deal in Angie's list with his company, and something that I liked about him that day, is that no matter we had a discount, he was so professional and made no difference for him. The next day he arrived as he said, and began working. He gave us his suggestions about the service we wanted, the advantages and disadvantages of going one way or another. He was always friendly, respectful and VERY knowledgeable. We had a problem with one of the electrical circuits in our house. We didn't know that the outside fridge was in the same circuit as our patio's and front door, so when I lighted "some" lights last Christmas in the backyard and the front... we found out they were in the same when they stop working. He fixed EVERYTHING! He added another switch pannel, explained to us how it was working now, made the notes in the pannel so we didn't have any confussion in the future, and I am so happy to say that I can have extra fans in my backyard now, and everything is working great! He also installed a new light for the playground. I WILL CALL him again in the future when we want to install the next set of lights for our backyard and more lighting for the front of our house. Thank you Angie's list for having such good vendors that you recommend. If I need something to be done, I come first to Angie's list to check your vendors and I move from there. Your company is very professional and I know I can trust you, when I need an electrical sevice in my home.

It went well. I was given an estimate of 3.5 hours for the work, however they finished in around 3. This allowed my family to continue on with our day as planned. Also I appreciate the flexibility with scheduling as during the week I was unavailable for install appointments.

Workman arrived at preset time (called first to say he was on the way). Gave estimate and then accomplished job in about 1-1/2 hours. Workman was clean in appearance and polite. Efficient and well qualified. He asked for the vacumn to clean up when he finished. I would use this company again and recommend it to friends. I felt the price was fair but not quite the bargin I had hoped for....I had purchased the Angie's list Big Deal ($200.00 labor for $99 ) and used that coupon. The estimate for the work (and the price I paid) was $75 plus the coupon. As I said, I think the price was fair, but no bargin. I won't get excited about the "Big Deal" coupon any more.

Took the day off to meet with electrician who never showed up... I lost a whole day of wages.
