All Star Electric

Everything went really well. I emailed the company in advance of purchasing the deal to find out what the cost difference would be for LED lights and how much for additional lights. We scheduled the work, and Richard and Richard showed up on time and completed the work to my satisfaction. We discussed the placement of the lights and how many I needed for my space. I thought I might need more than 4 lights (which is what the deal included), but they were honest and didn't try to oversell me on things I really didn't need. I was very happy with the service and their work.

Probably the best experience I've ever had with any, for lack of a better word, home service contractor. I've used multiple plumbers, electricians, HVAC companies, handy man services, and general contractors and none have matched All Star Electric's professionalism and results. From the first time I called All Star to the time they left I was very impressed with the company. I called on a Thursday afternoon and left a voicemail with the company. I was called back within the hour by a gentleman (I think his name was Rick but I'm not certain) who was able to give me a quote for what I needed over the phone. It sounded great and I scheduled the work for the following Monday. The day the work was to be done David (the electrician) called me to inform me they had a cancellation and asked if they could come sooner. It was perfect timing and him and his helper were here within the hour. I showed them what I needed done, asked a few questions, and was given a thorough explanation of what exactly they would be doing. David even pointed out that 2 of the switches I was converting to GFCI were tied together and would only need to do one which saved me some money! They were here and working very diligently, asked me questions if something popped up, and completed the work very quickly. They cleaned up after themselves, walked me around and explained the finished product, and wrote up the invoice. I really appreciated David's time and attention with the invoice because I'm selling my house and all this work is being done as agreed to in my sales agreement. David wrote exactly what was done and explained why what was donewas the proper way to do it to ensure my buyers knew the work was completed by a professional, licensed electrician. Overall, I am 100% satisfied with All Star and will definitely be using them in the future if/when I need electrical work.

Contacted All-Star Electric to come out and install 2 recessed lights over my kitchen sink. I have a slanted ceiling over the sink area so the crawl space in the attic is limited. However, David showed up at the time quoted and in less than 1 hour had the lights installed, wired, working and the cleanup completed. This is the 2nd time I've used All-Star Electric in the past year and both times everything was EXACTLY as quoted....time, price, quality = PERFECT!!!

This is the second time I've had the guys at All Star Electric do work on my house, and I would highly recommend them. The current installation went great. They showed up right on time with five guys and were able to finish installing all of the recessed lights within two hours. They cleaned up the kitchen afterwards also which was a plus.

It went well. They responded quickly and the service was quick as well. All in all, it was great.

The teams of four worked well together they made sure I was comfortable with the location of lighting, the installation began and made sure everything was working to my liking. They displayed excellent customer service skills at all time. Just wanted to say thanks for install the recessed lights in my kitchen, the work was nicely done.

IT was great. I first called the company before purchasing to make sure would work. Very prompt and friendly. Purchased deal one week and lights were installed the next. Very friendly and kind and efficient.

Rick and team showed up promptly at 8:00 am as scheduled. They were very courteous and made sure to wear shoe coverings when walking in our home. The existing fluorescent lighting was removed and they even patched the holes left behind as a courtesy. Once the new recessed lighting and light switch were in place the team verified everything was working correctly and cleaned up after themselves. This job took less than two hours. I would highly recommend these guys!

Diagnosed the problem to be a faulty 3-way switch which he replaced. Circuit converted to single switch - not 3-way. Electrician was very open to discuss alternatives with me. All problems solved.

Rick arrived as scheduled, with his assistant following shortly behind. Rick reviewed the work for the Big Deal with me and we discussed some additional items I wanted to have done if they had time. The lights turned out great. We had to ask them to come back to next day since the dimmer was buzzing quite loudly. They sent someone out promptly and help to minimize the issue. I was pleased they were able to move the outlet and switch in the garage as well while they were onsite. Would use them again for future electrical needs.

It went great! We are going to use them for all of our electrical needs. They are also very affordable.

They called me when they were on their way. Installed and cleaned up all areas.

I purchased a "shop deal" special for a ceiling fan installation. I received a response for my purchase from the contractor within a few hours via Angie's list message box. The install was scheduled for the next week. They came on time and executed the install expeditiously. This is my second time I've received services from the company and I always have a great experience. I will use again and highly recommend to others.

I purchased the deal for 4 recessed lights w/ a dimmer switch. I called on a Tuesday, I believe, and the work was performed that Friday. I had the 4 lights with the dimmer installed in my kitchen to replace the ugly fluorescent fixture I had. I then had 2 other lights also replaced with cans w/o a dimmer for their regular price which is very reasonable compared to another electrician I spoke with. Three guys showed up to do the work and they were done in about 2 1/2 hours. They were nice and professional and cleaned the area well. They even took my old fluorescent fixture to dispose of it for me.

It went well. Because of our bonus room it was a challenging installation. However they were able to successfully complete the install with minimal drywall work required.

They were on time, very professional, and cleaned up after themselves.

These guys were awesome. Called me to let me know they were on their way. Very professional. Installed all 5 fans in under 2 hours. Will keep their number in case I need electrical work in the future.

Rick promptly responded to my initial contact, we set a date and he gave me a half hour time window when the installer would arrive. After the time window passed I called Rick and he said he would check and call me back, which he did and the installer showed up about 30 minutes later. David got right to work, completed the wiring, checked everything out and cleaned up afterwards. Other than the late show time, All Star did a great job and I would consider using them again.

Contractor & crew was on-time, and pleasant. I recommend and would hire again.

I bought a big deal for this service and it was okay. I told them I did not want a dark kitchen so I told them to put in a number of them to make sure it was not dark and to get rid of the fluorescent lights. The first thing they did was to drill a d*mn hole right in the middle of a rafter in the ceiling so I have to patch a hole that they screwed up. After they get up in the attic and finally look around they can't put in half the lights they said they could so I ended up with a dark kitchen which is exactly what I did not want. I would not hire them again. The guy who came out to look at it originally quoted 85 watt LED bulbs. When they came to put them in the guy shows up with 65. I told him that and whatnot so he went back and whatnot and told me they do not make 85's they put in 75's so right then I had a feeling they did not know what the h*ll they were talking about. I asked them if they could trace a circuit that had been open to a wall and they said they could do it when they came out. When they came out I asked them about that and they said they did not have the tools and that only the guy originally that came out had the tools. He never showed up. What they did was alright, before they ended up putting it in, or whatever, but you would have thought before they drilled a hole in your ceiling they would make d*mn sure there was not something in the way up, but they didn't, they just picked a spot and started drilling. Then when they finally got in, because of ductwork and whatever they could not get several lights in so I ended up with a dark kitchen, which I did not want. The price was fine. What they did was fine, but they did not do what they said they would. They did not plan very good. They showed up when they said they would.

They did that was requested and did a great job.

They were able to coordinate a time convenient to my work schedule. They arrived on time and performed the installation quickly. Excellent customer service!

The job went well. I was very well pleased with the work and the light looks great.

They arrived late. They were training a team member that was not really prepared. Price was fair in comparison to other electricians. But, it was expensive for what they really did.
