I called the company to give me an idea of how many recessed lights needed and the owner Rick showed up and said, the BigDeal for 4 lights would be sufficient. I scheduled immediately and they crew Dave and his associate showed up as promised. The crew are excellent. The job was done as promised and in the time they said they will do. Dave was very meticulous and thorough in his work. Very impressed with his work. Rick, the owner was very responsive to my calls and questions and I recommend them highly. Since we just got the work done today, I hope I do not have to call them back on this work anytime soon. Thanks to Rick and the electrician Dave.

My wife and I purchased the Angie's List deal to have four recessed lights installed in our living room. Prior to this, there was no overhead light in the room (all light came from lamps that had to be plugged into the wall outlets). Therefore, they had to first supply wiring to the ceiling by cutting holes in the ceiling and joists. They then installed the lighting kits and the ceiling fan brace. Completing these steps took most of the day which was expected. They installed the wall switches to control the lights and then left before doing an "ok" clean up job. When it came time to settle up on payment, I noticed that what I was quoted over the phone was not what they were charging me. It ended up that this was a miscommunication within their company and they subsequently revised the price on the spot to match what I was quoted. After they left, I noticed that the lights were not dimming "evenly". They would dim to about half power and then shut off completely after that. I contacted the owner, Rick Grohman, and he was very accomodating. He had his guys come back out and diagnose the issue (they had used the wrong kind of bulbs). They even installed better switches while they were out there. Overall, we are happy with the results and feel like they did a good job for the amount of money we paid. Also, we really appreciated the fact that they followed up with us on issues we had afterward and came back out to fix them. I do feel, however, that there needs to be better communication between the owner and his crew. We would use them again. Ryan

The guys showed up at the scheduled time and were extremely efficient and knowledgable of the job to be performed. They were professional, quick, and cleaned up so well that you couldn't even tell they had cut holes in the ceiling. Since I had bought an Angileslist "deal", I wasn't sure if the job would be done at the same standard for the lower price when the usual service call for the job is approx $699. I was extremely satisfied with the work and will definitely use them again. Everyone from the office staff to the electricians were excellent. Loved dealing with this company!

I liked their work. The owner of the company who I talked to most of the time didn't have all of his ducks in a row and wasn't able to multi-task. He didn't get my lights from his supplier. The day he came to install him he didn't have the lights so I had to pay the retail price which I wasn't happy about. The installers did a great job though.

They were fantastic. After having 3 other repairman and the installer in to fix machine All Star came in, opened the front of the machine and announced immediately that he had found the problem. The installer had left a shipping bolt in place. No one else saw this. Will certainly use them again and I highly recommend them.

It tuned out just fine. Two electricians came out and it took them awhile, about 3 hours to 3.5 hours. I already had 6 recessed lights installed from another company earlier in the year. Those lights were flush to the ceiling. This company did install the lights and the bulbs were sticking out a little bit and they did have to keep working with those to make sure it was lined up with the other recessed lights. I was glad that they kept with the job without any fuss.

I tried to get ahold of him three times and did not get through because he has poor phone service. He finally emailed me and added extra costs to the deal so I decided not to go with him.

Richard, who is the owner of All Star Electric, came to our home with all the proper work tools, products and instructions for the job. He asked me to cover the furniture in the room to keep the fine dust from gathering on it which was very much appreciated advice. I didn't even know he was in the house except for the sound of the drilling to make the jokes got the recessed lights. The lighting looks fabulous, dimmer switch works perfectly and Richard was a pleasure. We will definitely call him again and asked for some of his cards to give to our friends. Great job and really happy consumers!!!

The installer was on-time (early to be honest) he performed all the work with professionalism and to standard. In the future I would use this company again and would recommend them to anyone

This company was pretty good. They were fast and came when they were supposed to. Their final cost was approximately the same as what they said it would be and I thought they did a pretty good job.

They were high compared to others. That was the only downfall. They were fine when they came to do the estimate. The price was out of line for the amount of work that was being done. They seemed very professional and I don’t think I would have a problem calling them back.

The contracted work began as scheduled and completed as expected. Richard reviewed the work to be done with the general contractor and me. Nick performed the work scheduled and very conscientious to detail. In addition to doing a great job on the electrical work, Nick was extremely polite and respectful of us and our home. He always left the work area as clean or cleaner than he found it. I would not hesitate to recommend All Star Electric to my friends or to use them again for other work. Their honesty, integrity, and professionalism are greatly appreciated. Thank you Richard and Nick for for all of your hard work and making this a positive experience.

Cleanest repairman I ever seen...He came he did and he left. Use them again in a heartbeat...

Two members of the company showed up as scheduled and performed all the installations as requested. They called up prior to coming to the house, then arrived on schedule and performed the services requested in about 6 hours. They pointed out that the light fixture we had requested for the kitchen would not work, unless major modification was made to the ceiling, so we elected not to replace this unit & returned it to the store. Both individuals were cordial and kept my spouse informed as to their work and progress. The wall outlet was added after the fact and was not in the original estimate.

After calling about 15 minutes prior to showing up, Brian and Nick arrived right on time as was scheduled 3 days ago. They evaluated my reported electrical problem and checked other systems to ensure we weren't chasing a more minor culprit. They concluded the problem was in fact a worn circuit breaker and although they had to leave to purchase a replacement, they returned less than a half hour later to finish the job.
