They were here when they said they were going to be. They cleaned up after themselves. They also came back to follow up with the quality of the installation of my softener. I was very satisfied with their work. My water softener works just great now!!

We have very hard well water .... the company came out and evaluated the water and what we needed ....
we have them come an inspect the system about twice a year ..... they had to make a few small adjustments to the system ... they are courteous and prompt ....

Allan came to my house to discuss my water softener options. He was on time, very professional and not pushy like a traditional salesman. A few days later, I called their office to set up an installation. They scheduled us within a couple days and did a quick and clean installation.

The entire experience from the initial visit from Allen through the entire installation process was flawless. Allen was great w/the initial visit...Wasn't a pushy at all. Described his product and additional information on the benefits of purchasing a softener. The installation crew was great as well. Called about 30 mins prior to arrival and were very professional during the process.

The installation team was ONE minute early. Scared me whenthey tore up the yard. But when they left it was barely noticable. Since then the grass has blended back in. Hey were in Texes, anyone is lucky to get grass to grow.
Did a great cleanup. The installer did a review of operation and then watched me do a flush of system and set clock. Explained where to purchase and what type of salt to buy.

We moved in to a house which didn't have water softener. Trever was the salesperson who came to my home to introduce their product and give a quote. Jerry and his team did the installation work. It was a nice experience from the beginning. Everyone with the company was responsive, friendly, punctual and professional. Jerry was even nice enough to help me replace a sprinkler head which is completely irrelevant to their work. AWS is so far the best out of the companies/individuals we used during this moving. Too early to speak about their products, but I do believe great service comes hand in hand with great products.

Alamo Water systems responded quickly to my Initial request for consultation and the estimate was reasonable. Allen explained the process from beginning to end and answered all of my questions. Installation team arrived on time and performed flawlessly. Equipment and all hardware works exactly as it is suppose to and worth the money I spent. Followup consultation was performed 3 days after installation by an experienced technician and all issues were resolved.

Everything went very well. All of my questions were thoroughly answered, even from the initial call. I did a tremendous amount of research before making this purchase and am very confident that I made the right decision. The installer was great, and the follow up was very informative. I appreciate the great service and product.

I was extremely pleased from start to finish with Alamo Water Softners. I initially spoke by phone with Allen Townsend, the owner, who came out to my house to talk about putting in a water softner system. He was very informative, and the best part was, he put NO pressure on me to buy his product. My house is a 1958 model and required some modifications before putting the unit in where I wanted it to go. I later spoke to Allen by telephone on several occassions to have more questions answered. Each time he was happy to help, and again did not pressure me to buy anything. Nearly 3 months after he first came to my house, I asked him to again come out so that I could be sure I wanted to get his water softner system. He again came out without hesitation. I decided to buy a water softner system and the reverse osmosis drinking water system. I am beyond happy with not only the buying experience, but the installation, follow up, and most importantly, enjoying life without hard water. Allen came out with a uniformed crew, who did some digging to place the unit where I wanted it. They left everything cleaner than when they arrived. About a week later, another employee came to the house and walked me through everything, tested the water, answered all of my questions, and made sure that I was pleased with everything. I first read about the company in the San Antonio Business Journal and liked the fact that it was a family owned business, whose owners were trying to become successful based upon top notch service and reasonable prices. They did both as far as I am concerned. I shopped around before I selected Alamo Water Softners, and encountered high pressure salesman and inflated prices. The difference in having soft water in amazing, and has already eliminated a lot of the difficulty in trying to keep our sinks, toilets and showers looking nice. The reverse osmosis sytem is also great. The water tastes good. The unit has a faucet at the sink, and my family is drinking a lot more water just because of the ease of use. I would recommend Alamo Water Softners without hesitation. They went above and beyond to provide a great product at a fair price and with great service!

I have high expectations and want things done right and they met my expectations. The owner of the company, Allen, came out to my house at a time that was convenient to me. He inspected the layout of my house and knew right away how to arrange the system. He provided several options and gave the pros and cons of each. Most importantly he was prepared, anticipated my questions and was professional. Once I signed the contract he scheduled the install. Jerry and his plumbing team came out as scheduled and completed the job just as they had said they would. As part of the install they taught me how to use the system and advised me on getting the most out of it. A couple of things to note, my house was not pre-plumbed for the softener so extra work was needed there; what I really liked was they installed hard-water faucets at the front of my house and in the back yard which I appreciated. A few weeks after the install Javier came out to test the water and ensure everything was working properly. Overall I was very impressed with their service. They are very responsive and know what they're doing. Highly recommend.

Called for a quote and was scheduled immediately. Alan was ON TIME, informative, and professional. After receiving a very resonable quote....I got busy with work, life and just waited awhile to "think about it". After a month, I called and was scheduled within minutes for a day convenient for ME!!!! Installers were ON TIME and very respectful of my property and yard. They had work in bitterly cold, rainy weather and were finished and cleaned up within hours. Trudy, the wonderful contact in the office was a delight! So, kind and funny!! I didn't get filtration system installed at sink that day due to remodeling I'm going through, but they sent me the faucet early in order to get my countertops cut correctly. They have called to follow up with me a few times and answered questions I had. All in all, I feel I got a terrific product at a very resonable price and the service was top notch.

I researched water softeners for a bit and had gotten a few estimates. I went with Alamo Water Softeners because they were timely, reasonably priced, professional, responsible AND the owner (Alan) is a veteran, they?re local and they use products made in the USA. They also offer service but do not require the use of their service as is the case with some other installers.
The owner came out and gave me an estimate. There was no pressure at all. He politely and patiently explained all the details. I changed my mind a couple of times and they were very accommodating and patient. They did all of the work (extra was required) and cleaned up after themselves. If I had an issue the owner came right out to offer remedies or explain why certain things were needed. After the installation everything was working fine. A few days or a week later the tenants called to say that they suddenly had no water. I was at work and called Alamo Water Softeners thinking that the issue might be related to their work. They didn?t think it was related. The owner and another employee STILL went out to the house right away. They figured out that someone had turned off the water at the meter. (We still don?t know who or why.) They fixed it and explained it to the tenants. While that issue was unrelated to their work they never sent a bill.
I really working with Alan. He was friendly and helpful a lot like a good neighbor. He is sincere about providing quality products and excellent customer service.

I had given Jerry's crew access to my leaf-covered garage to install a
new water softener and a reverse osmosis unit under my kitchen sink. I
left to run an errand, and by the time I got back, everything was

I felt like AWS walked me through the process very well. I felt comfortable and informed with the free consultation. I was pleased with the lower prices yet, good quality of the products and services. They were able to install the water softner within the next week. I was also put at ease when they were going to take care of installing the plumbing necessary. I was quoted much higher for that service with other companies. I would definitely recommend their services to others.

The initial estimate was conducted on time and was a fair price for a new softener and plumbing from the main and through the garage.
The crew arrived on time and were very professional. My yard had to be dug up across the lawn to lay pipe from the water main to the house, every plug of grass was put back perfectly and watered! You can hardly see where the digging took place. The plumbing is very professional and the water softener works great! This is an honest company that does great work, we were charged the estimate price. We have received follow up phone calls to ensure our satisfaction and will be receiving a complimentary visit to check on the softener and answer any operating questions we may have.
If you want the job done right, this is the company!! A++++

Being new to Texas I was unfamiliar with hard water until we moved into our new home and started to replace bath fixtures. We contacted Alamo Water Softeners after reading so many positive reviews on Angie's List.
Allen arrived at our home on the date and time promised and took all the time we needed to go over the various types of water softeners available. He tested our water to give us an accurate estimate on the size we would need and went over each of the different sizes and what would work with our small family.
He did not steer us towards higher priced systems, because he knew we didn't need them.
About a day later, we received a call from his office to schedule installation. Installiation took place 4 days later. There was a small misunderstanding on my part about the time the installer would arrive, but the people in the office were very kind and understanding and worked with my schedule .
I received a call from Trudi in the office who called to check and see if I was happy and to find out if the installation went well and if we had any questions or issues up to that point.

All the employees I dealt with for the estimation and installation process were very professional. The company could have been clearer about what time they would start the job on the day of installation, and pointed out in advance the outdoor spigots that would now emit soft water. Otherwise, I found my experience with them very smooth and enjoyable.
I love the product. It is a great investment. The cleaning is so much less intensive; my appliances work better (dishwasher, coffee maker) and the water from the osmosis system tastes great. It feels good to bathe; so much gentler on my hair and skin.
I highly recommend the company and its product!

I learned about Alamo Water Softeners through Angie's List; they were very prompt and courteous, arranging an in-home evaluation and stepped us through the pros and cons of each system. I was not here to witness the install, but my wife reports the technician was very polite and competent, showing her the ins and outs of the new system and what to watch for. Highly recommended!

I couldn't be happier with AWS. The entire experience was enjoyable.
The guys installing the equipment and plumbing the house were GREAT. They went above and beyond my expectations.
I have recommended AWS to several friends and neighbors. I'll continue to recommend as more people move into this newly constructed subdivision.
