I won't ever use these guys again. They simply will not complete the work as they represent. This was a bad experience for us. Punctuality is something that simply escapes them. They did no sealing of the cuts. We had to call them several times to get them to complete the job which to this day has not been completed professionally. Had to listen to their excuses incessantly. Never again.

On the positive side, the guys did a lot of work for a good price. The trees in the front look especially good. We have a lot of live oaks that are susceptible to oak wilt and our area if noted to have a lot of oak wilt around. As I was assured, all the wounds on the live oaks would be painted (sealed). They were not. I mentioned that to Jason and he went around again and did some of them. But, still there are a lot of wounds not done. And after their chipper broke down, they seemed to be in a big hurry to get out of here and I was told to go to another job. I am hoping that Jason will read this here and come back and make sure all the oak wounds are sealed. I do not want to lose any of our oaks to oak wilt. Would we use them again? Only if they finish the oak wound painting (sealing).

Do not use these guys! They are absolutely horrible! They showed up at my door not once but twice. I agreed to let them cut my trees and upon the price. He told me the schedule of events and I agreed. He was supposed to cut trees Saturday and finish Monday. He was to have everything painted and cleaned up by then. They worked for 3 hours Saturday and he asked for a down payment of $500. One guy came late Monday afternoon for 2 hours. He then gave me a hard luck story telling me he was short on cash and could he have another $250. We then agreed that he would have everything finished by Tues. Tuesday came and went and they were nowhere to be found. I called several times and he never answered my phone calls. He finally returned my call with yet another hard luck story. I had a huge mess in my yard for 4 days. Being the new neighbor, I was quite embarrassed. I am a very easy to please person but he wasn?t doing his job. He then told me they would be there Wednesday morning. Yet it came and went and no one showed. I was angry to say the least. I got on Angie?s list and started calling real tree experts who were busy for weeks. If I didn?t have a mess in my yard, it would have been fine by me! I finally got Mike Jimenez with Tree Service of SA. This guy is awesome. He came out immediately and looked at the job. He showed up before Jason and his crew! Mike walked me around the yard. I then realized the guys didn?t seal or paint anything. The cuts of the limbs were not flush to the trees. AND they butchered one of my favorite trees. It looks horrible! Mike then pointed out to me three trees I had that were completely dead and needed to be removed! Mike canceled another job that could have been pushed back just to clean up my yard! His guys came out that day! They cleaned up my yard and finished the job the next day! He even had my stumps removed! Call Mike at 210.389.1205! Jason finally showed up on Wednesday in between mike?s visits. He told me he couldn?t remove the stumps. He then had his guys bring a trailer to carry off the trees. Mike brought a truck to chop the trees on site. Mike is much more reliable, professional, and an ?expert!? Not to mention, Jason drives around town like a bat out of h***. He?s nearly hit me twice now. And no it?s not just me. Speeding, squealing tires to turn corners is unnecessary too. I just happen to witness that one.

The guys showed up in the neighborhood and knocked on the door. Typically this is not my favorite way to find contractors but our tree has needed trimming for quite some time. They had 2 marked vehicles, business cards and a website site so I figured they were legit. Also, the Angie's list review from previous customer was a B. After talking price, safety and getting an explanation of how they would do the work I decided to proceed. I'm very happy I did. They did a great job quickly and cleanly. I watched them the whole time. The tree looks great and the yard is cleaned up. The price was very reasonable compared to what I've had quoted before. I will look for these guys when I need the service again.

We agreed on an amount for both back and front. Which was a verbal contract. After the job was completed I found things that did not get done. I ended up having to call Jason two more times to come out to take care of the few things that did not get done. The clean up was not what I expected. It was only the larger limbs that got cleaned up the rest i ended up having to sweep off the deck and there is still some ball moss and a few dead limb that are existing.
