They did an excellent job. They were timely, very thorough and very friendly. I was very pleased with everything they did.

Very disappointed. Took several calls to coordinate service that was ordered online. Team showed up on time but did not clean very well and or very quickly. They actually damaged some small decorative models. Did not inform me of the damage but I noted it myself. Would not use again.

The two workers started work around 10:20 and finished at 1:20 only giving us a little over 6 maybe 7 hours of work. The floors were still dirty, I have a guitar on a stand in the corner of the living room and an small entertainment center that you can see the dust under them. There was food and dirt left on the living and family room floors. They completely missed one room, nothing done at all; granted it is a studio we are still moving things into, but at least they could have done the floor. In the down stairs bathroom, there is dirt on the bottom of the pedestal sink. I think what really was unprofessional was that both the upstair's and downstair's TVs were noticeably turned on and the channels changed. I can understand the cleaning staff in a motel doing this but not in someone's home. I even gave them a hefty tip before I set down and turned on my TV only to find a soap opera in a different language on my TV. This is when I started to notice the other deficiencies of their service. I would call and have them come back, but to tell you the truth, after the TV issue, I do not want them back in my house.

I purchased Alamo's Angie's List special for 8 hours of house cleaning for $212. This was the first time I've used them. I've used numerous others in the past to compare. First, they were very prompt about returning my call to schedule for 5 days out. The crew, Pasqual and Coco, showed up on time (actually a little early). They brought all of their own supplies and cleaning tools. I addressed my concerns and priorities, and then they got to work. I have to say the quality was OUTSTANDING and very THOROUGH! I have a 4 bedrm, 3 bath home and they were able to finish it all from 10-2 (8 hour package). I look forward to using this service again for sure!

They did what we asked and they did what they said they would do. Everything was cleaned in time for our evening party. They sent two cleaners out for 2 hours each. One did not speak English, but that did not matter as our instructions were all properly relayed.

It was ok, language barrier

Not well , as a contractor I am expected to hold myself to certain standard, also as such not needed to be baby sat while doing work . Because I was paid to do the JOB I do it to the very best of my ability! As for the Female that was sent She did well!! . The Male did not that about sums it up.

They wanted a lot more than my previous cleaner. I was reluctantly willing to pay due to the outstanding reviews. The first time they cleaned the house looked great. (This was the "first cleaning" where they charge much more than the usual weekly cleaning. They did a great job. After that the weekly cleanings quickly went downhill. Many areas were missed, they left lights on and in one case a door open. Window blinds not dusted, furniture not clean. I'm still looking for a good cleaning service in San Antonio. I'm not really that picky, just want them to be reliably consistent, not break or scratch things and leave the house looking and smelling clean.

I've been using them now for I guess about a year. There is no one better. They are so unbelievable. They are extremely professional. They do an excellent job in cleaning my home. They're reliable. I've never been concerned about having them in my house and coming into my house. They're trustworthy, reliable, professional. They're very good at what they do. They really do a great job cleaning week over week. In San Antonio, there is no one better.

I thought that they did a real nice job but I found that it was real difficult getting a response back from my having asked for a receipt. I had to ask about 4 times before they finally had the accounting department mail it to me. These ladies did an adequate job. I had used Merry Maids before in our other house. You know how you get that hard water build up around your toilet bowl? That was something that the lady from Merry Maids made disappear. These ladies didn't. I mean they cleaned but there were little cleaning tricks and secrets that they didn't provide. They were punctual. They did an adequate job. It was just the followup with the receipt was a little frustrating because I had to keep asking for it.

They did a very good job and cleaned thoroughly. .

A team of four |was able to do the pre-holiday cleaning in 2 hours when other companies were booked. Pleasant, professional staff.

We really like this company. We have been using them for about 6 months now. I am very impressed with how thorough they are. They really move things around to get a deep cleaning. They spend much more time on the house than other companies have. Two cleaners come out and they are very knowledgeable. They are also very friendly, helpful and they accommodate to our schedule at any time.

Alamo Cleaning Service did a great job of deep cleaning of my home. The staff were on time , thorough, comprehensive and very professional. I highly recommend them to anyone.

The first problem I noticed while they were still here. They rubbed the finish off of three light globes but failed to mention it at all until I confronted them about it. I would have expected if they damaged anything to come let me know right away. This felt like they messed up and were hoping I wouldn't notice. After they left, I discovered they broke three light bulbs in the master bathroom and one in an upstairs bathroom. They broke the glass part of the bulb, but left the socket part of the bulb in there. So I was left in the dark Monday night trying to fish out the socket without cutting or electrocuting myself. They did a barely passable job on two bathtubs. There were dirt spots all around that they missed. They seemed to completely miss the room where my gym equipment is. They vacuumed but didn't dust more than a couple of things and missed far more than they dusted in this room. They didn't clean our dining room light fixture. They didn't dust our China cabinet inside or outside. They didn't clean our stairs at all. Overall they did an ok job on most of what they bothered to clean, but I can't forgive them breaking or damaging things and not telling me.

Two ladies arrived around 11:00am. I explained what I needed done. Trust me this was a lot of work. I also had an accumulation of clutter. These ladies started working and only stopped to ask me if I wanted to keep something or throw it away.I can tell you how many bags they filled but it was definitely more than 20. Additionally, they dusted, vaccumed, cleaned the bathroom including the toilet which was in terrible shape. Later a gentleman came in to assist. They were to be here 4 hours but I was tiring by 21/2 even though they were doing the work. Plus the gentleman came in . They completed what I asked them to complete. The finish product was more than I could have asked for. The areas looked as good as they did with I moved in over 20 years ago. I could have not asked for more, especially for the price. I will definitely be calling them to do more work for me..

The initial cleaning was $300 and after that it was $130 a week. The initial housecleaning was very good, the service was good, it hanged back gradually, so we are taking a break right now because we want the quality of the initial cleaning back.

The lady cleaning my town house was very thorough and was very friendly. I received all of my deposit back with out having to go back and touch up anything. I would use there service againg in the future

I didn't end up needing to use a cleaning company as my parents were able to do the cleanup themselves.

Great Job! I bought them pizza for lunch and tipped each worker. They did a great job.

I have a big house and I am grateful for the rate that Alamo agreed to clean my house for me. They do a very honest job. I was impressed the every first day when they did the deep cleaning. They started early in the morning and stayed late into the evening because they wanted to finish what they started and didn?t want to stop half way. It was only after they started that both my husband and I and the owners realized that they had underestimated my house and the number of people needed to finish the job. In spite of that they are honoring the original amount they quoted to me and are very reliable. It feels very nice after they have been in my house. Everything looks beautiful, clean and uncluttered. They are very courteous, very professional and very easy to talk to. The employees seem very happy and cheerful unlike in other services I have used. When the employees are cheerful they do a more honest job.

I chose to hire this company for their high recommendations on Angie's List as well as the awards/honors that they have received here. I was sorely disappointed. A team of 4 people arrived to perform a whole house deep cleaning promptly as scheduled. I gave them a tour of the house and let them do their thing. I am very particular about how my house is cleaned and expected attention to detail and an immaculate cleaning service. After the team had completed a room or area, I inspected it myself and found many deficiencies. In particular, our master bathroom/bedroom had obvious areas that were not cleaned. This was brought to the attention of the team leader and an apology was given along with an excuse that the person who was responsible for cleaning was in training. The master bathroom/bedroom was recleaned by the team leader and I still found deficiencies. The owner was contacted and she showed up with one of their best cleaners. My master bathroom/bedroom was completely recleaned to my satisfaction. This scenario was repeated throughout the house after my inspections. In my great room, I have expensive, custom drapery that the team was taking down to clean without asking if that was what I wanted done. The drapery was thus wrinkled and was not properly put back up. Another issue that I had with their cleaning technique is that one member of the team was wearing rings and we found scratches on some furniture pieces and mirrors. I can't prove it was the team member, but we do not remember there being scratches present on those objects. If I was not so particular about checking their work, a lot of areas would have gone uncleaned or not satisfactorily cleaned by this company. At the end of approx 8 hours and 6 people, my house was finally cleaned with my supervision and guidance. For a company so highly recommended, I should not have had to "babysit" them like I did. One would also think that on a first visit, the goal would be to impress and not disappoint. So why would you have someone who was in training left to clean an area by themselves, especially a master bathroom/bedroom? Training should be done on established customers' homes, with their approval, where you have already proven yourselves, not on brand-new customers' homes. I have since hired another cleaning service that performed much better in a fraction of the time and cost without my constant supervision. A company with all the awards/honors from Angie's List should not have so many negative reviews on Angie's List. It's misleading because, in my and several other Angie's List member's view, Alamo House Cleaning Services have not set themselves ahead of the pack. That's why we have sent them packing.

They did fantastic job that exceeded my expectations. The house looked better than it has ever looked. They paid nice attention to details such as curtains, blinds, light fixtures and ceiling fans. Highly recommended vendor. A+++

It went very well. No complaints and they will be cleaning my mother's house once a month.
