Aladdin Environmental Mold Testing & Inspecting

John is a very polite and professional individual. He's thorough and very personable. He checked inside and out for leaks, and he did an air quality test. He answered a question about a particular vent that had a trace of mold (which was not what I was infected with). We found out from a home mold kit we took previously. He said the way the vent was angled down would cause condensation. That is why some mold was there. He quoted the price ($50 less, without us knowing) over the phone to my husband. When he was done testing, my husband asked if everything was included in the $325.00. He said "it's $375.00, but because I misquoted you, you can pay the $325.00." I mention this because it shows he has integrity.

They were fine.

It went okay. The people were professional. The cost was $300 and that ws just for the test, and then the service fee was I think $125, and I had two other areas tested for $75 a piece. The $300 was just for sending it to the lab. His attitude was cocky, and everything I said we have mold here, he said I should not say mold again, because only a certified mold specialist can use the terminology mold. I was wondering what in the world was wrong with him. He was very exurbitant about what he does, but his customer service skills were very poor. I thought the price was tricky. I thought the $300 would include his trip service, the test, and at least one air test, but it seems like his price was not fully disclosed. He did use a professional swab, and he made sure the sample was not going to be contaminated by anything. He was very knowledgeable. He called within a day or two, and the lab came back within the estimated days that he said. He needs to choose better words, and come down on layman's terms.

Inside air samples adjacent to where the plumbing leak occurred proved to be much lower than the outside air control sample. I was provided a professionally arranged written report along with lab data and pictures taken the day of the inspection. Air samples were taken on a Friday, and I had the results by the following Wednesday. I would recommend Aladdin Environmental to anyone.
